Chapter 763 - 763 My Hero Academia: The Shameless Gear 5, Mt. Lady's Emotional Damage, All Might's Fame, and The Encounter with Tomura Shigaraki.

"What's going on?!" Koichi shouted as he bounced off the ground, completely unable to understand the situation.

At his side, Allen couldn't stop laughing. If Koichi weren't so terrified, he might also think it was funny to see buildings wobbling like gelatin.

[Golden Template: Monkey D. Luffy

QG 6: (Excellent–Mint)

Remaining: 1:58:02]

Even Allen himself was surprised when he was flooded by the weight of this template. It was the complete opposite of the Madara Uchiha template he had used during combat training.

While Madara felt as if he were testing him, this template felt like it was blatantly and absurdly trying to show him what it was capable of.

No memories, no will, no experience—only freedom.

Allen felt that this template embodied absolute freedom, a state where even reality itself became a joke. That was why, upon activating it, he directly entered Luffy's Gear 5.

"What a troublesome power," Allen laughed.

....

The entire city had fallen into chaos. Nothing made sense anymore.

Two cars that had lost control crashed head-on, but instead of becoming a tragic headline, both vehicles squashed against each other like sponges and then bounced off in opposite directions.

One of the cars rolled several times before stopping. The driver got out and threw up—he was fine, but extremely dizzy.

The other vehicle flew through the air and landed on a building's rooftop. The stunned driver stepped out, realizing he was completely unharmed.

The man walked to the edge and stared at the city wobbling like an old cartoon.

"How am I supposed to tell my boss I'll be late because my car ended up on a rooftop?" he said with a blank stare.

Elsewhere, a child was running away from his mother, jumping incredible distances by using the ground like a trampoline.

"Come back here, Yukki!"

"Haha, I don't want to, Mom!"

The mother chased after him, and the two began leaping across the city together.

Inside a café, a waitress serving coffee with a smile froze when the coffee suddenly turned rubbery. Frightened, she dropped the tray, but instead of falling, it bounced off the floor.

"What is this stuff made of?" a customer exclaimed.

Outside, confused screams and laughter echoed. When the waitress looked through the window, she saw something that shattered her sense of reality. People, vehicles, animals—everything that wasn't fixed to the ground was bouncing off streets and walls. Some were having fun, others were terrified.

"What's happening?!" the woman gasped. At that moment, she finally heard a light drumbeat subtly echoing.

As soon as she noticed it, she felt a strange sensation in her chest—and an urge to quit this exhausting, low-paying job.

"Is it too late to enroll in art school?"

....

....

"What is this?!"

Yu, better known as Mt. Lady, clung tightly to a streetlight, unable to keep her footing as the ground rippled like a waterbed.

Thinking this had to be the work of a villain, she immediately switched into superhero mode. As best she could, she made her way into an alley and removed her clothes, revealing her costume underneath.

When she stepped out, she began to grow—larger and larger—until she reached the height of a five-story building.

Thanks to her size, she could finally stand without falling and observe the city's situation. It was madness. It looked as though the entire city had come alive and was caught in the middle of a carnival.

"I have to stop this."

Fortunately, her increased size also enhanced her hearing, allowing her to pinpoint the source of the drumming.

"The park!"

Mt. Lady grew tense. Despite the amusing appearance of the scene, she feared that whatever was causing this phenomenon might suddenly stop, resulting in hundreds of thousands of people getting hurt—or worse.

Mt. Lady had the image of a superficial superhero who loved cameras and popularity, but in moments of crisis, she was willing to put herself in danger to protect innocent people. After all, she was a hero.

As Mt. Lady approached the park, the sound of the drums grew louder. When she finally arrived, she saw something that left her speechless.

At the center of the park, two people were bouncing—one of them dressed completely in white.

Even more incredible was the fact that every time the person in white bounced, it created a ripple effect like a stone dropped into water, which was the reason the entire city was in this state.

"You!"

Allen stopped laughing when he heard the woman's voice and looked at her.

"That's Mt. Lady!" Koichi exclaimed.

"What a beauty. Can I help you with something?" Allen said casually.

In contrast to Koichi's panic, Allen acted as if none of this had anything to do with him.

"Are you serious?! Do you have any idea what you're doing to the city?!"

Mt. Lady had been expecting a more villain-like response, so she didn't know how to react right away.

Allen chuckled as he looked at the giant woman's confusion.

"Don't worry. When I deactivate my... Quirk, I'll do it gradually so no one gets hurt."

To prove his point, Allen began reducing the effect spreading throughout the city.

"Shut up! You're not getting away that easily!"

Whether out of frustration or simply because she didn't want to feel underestimated, Mt. Lady reached out to grab them.

In response, Allen winked at her.

"Sorry, beautiful, but it's only the first date. Keep your hands to yourself."

Mt. Lady blushed with rage.

"You'll regret this!"

Allen laughed, grabbed Koichi by the collar, and used the elastic ground to launch himself away, leaving Yu Takeyama completely speechless.

Mt. Lady shook her head and chased after them.

"You won't escape!"

Allen landed on the other side of the park with Koichi, right next to a phone booth.

"What do we do, Allen?!"

Koichi panicked as he saw Mt. Lady running toward them.

He knew vigilantes weren't well regarded by the law. He knew that if he got caught, he wouldn't get away with just a fine. But being chased by a professional hero was a terrifying situation for the Koichi he was now.

"Don't worry," Allen said, patting him on the shoulder as he stepped into the booth. "I need to make a call~"

"Huh?! Now?!"

Koichi stared in disbelief as Allen calmly dialed a number, as if a furious twenty-meter-tall (65 ft) woman weren't charging toward them.

"Allen?" Koichi grew more anxious as he saw Mt. Lady's irritated expression. "Allen!"

Allen hung up the phone, stepped out of the booth casually, and waited. A few seconds later, the horn of a truck sounded. It stopped beside them, and two employees—whose faces weren't visible—unloaded a massive crate next to them.

The box was so large that Koichi was surprised by the strength of both deliverymen.

"What is that?!" Koichi asked incredulously. If he weren't so worried about Mt. Lady, he'd have many more questions.

Allen didn't answer. He signed the delivery form, and the courier bowed before leaving the enormous box behind.

Allen then pulled out a pair of binoculars from his pocket—not from his inventory, but from his pocket. It might seem insignificant to many, but it was a detail that couldn't be ignored.

Mt. Lady, who had also been watching this unfold, felt insulted. Was she not scary enough?! Why was this guy treating her like air?

"You'll see!"

At this point, she didn't even care whether Allen was a villain or not—she was going to catch him and teach him a lesson.

However, to her disbelief, the box opened, revealing a catapult loaded with a giant cake as ammunition.

"Huh?"

Allen smiled before pressing a button that appeared out of nowhere. The catapult fired, and the several-meter-wide cake flew straight into Mt. Lady's face.

The cake smashed into her, knocking her over in an absurdly comedic fashion.

Yu Takeyama—a single woman in the prime of her youth, a voluptuous beauty who was the dream of countless men—wondered how she had ended up in this situation and wished the ground would swallow her whole. The attack caused no physical damage, but the psychological damage was critical.

"Alright, time to run!"

Allen used the legendary Joestar Secret Technique and sprinted away.

"Wait!"

Koichi ran after Allen, leaving behind a defeated Mt. Lady with emotional wounds that wouldn't fade anytime soon.

....

....

The next day, Allen woke up feeling a bit lazy, so he left a little later than usual on his way to U.A.

[Being late for school is not a good habit]

"Leave me alone. Put yourself in my shoes—I was forced to go to U.A. so I could stay close to where I think the 'plot' might be, but the reality is that it's boring outside of the special hero classes."

U.A. despite being a hero school, was still a high school in the end, which meant Allen was forcing himself to study things he already knew for the most part, except history and Japanese, since those focused on this country.

"Haha, I think it's cute that you have to force yourself to wear a uniform once again~" Kurumi teased as she sat on his shoulder.

"Well, this might surprise you, but I don't mind it that much."

"What?" Kurumi blinked, unable to believe Allen's words.

"In none of the schools in my original world did I have to wear a uniform, so I don't really dislike experiencing this."

"Oh, right..." Kurumi realized after hearing Allen's words.

She had almost forgotten that Allen was raised in the West.

These kinds of things were easy to forget, since Allen had an uncanny ability to blend in no matter the culture or world.

The girl puffed her cheeks slightly when she realized she couldn't tease Allen, so she decided to disappear.

"As always, Kurumi is so fickle..."

Among her dolls, Kurumi Tokisaki was a girl capable of changing her mood very easily—sometimes a refined young lady, other times an unpredictable madwoman. Even so, her attitude had improved over time; at the very least, she no longer seemed to hate Allen.

....

Allen decided to fly to U.A. Now that he had already revealed his "Quirk," there was no need to be so discreet about using it. After all, sooner or later all young heroes from U.A. ended up on the news.

Allen didn't want to be late, but on the way he ran into an incident—three heroes, including Mt. Lady, were in trouble with a villain.

Mt. Lady looked battered. Her suit was worn out, and she wasn't using her Quirk. For a moment, Allen thought it must be a very dangerous villain.

However, that thought changed when he noticed the villain was holding three children hostage. That had to be the reason Mt. Lady and the other heroes were completely cornered.

Seeing the woman he had mocked so much the day before, Allen felt a small sense of responsibility and decided to take a detour to help her.

Allen chuckled, "I guess I owe her this."

The villain in question was large and muscular, and strangely enough, his trapezius muscles had stretched up from his shoulders, covering his head like a helmet.

[Trapezius Headgear

Quirk: Trap Flex

Type: Mutant]

His Quirk was basically his physical appearance.

"Haha, what are you gonna do now?" Trapezius mocked the heroes, who stared in frustration at the children he held with his massive arm.

As had happened many times before, there were many heroes, and all of them had Quirks better suited for different kinds of situations. For example, while Mt. Lady excelled at rescuing people trapped in collapses, Midnight could resolve this situation easily thanks to her sleep-inducing Quirk.

Unfortunately, heroes were not always placed in advantageous situations.

'Damn it, where are the reinforcements?!' Mt. Lady thought bitterly. Ever since yesterday, it felt like she had nothing but bad luck.

Snap

Just when the situation seemed completely stalled, the sound of a snap echoed throughout the area. Before anyone could process what had happened, everyone was shocked to see the children standing in the middle of the street, confused—and with no trace of the villain.

Mt. Lady walked up to them and widened her eyes when she noticed a graffiti on the ground depicting Trapezius Headgear—something that made absolutely no sense.

"Huh? What happened?"

Allen smiled from the shadow of a building before continuing on his way.

.....

When he arrived at U.A., he was surprised to see a crowd at the gate. It was a group of reporters who, judging by how they swarmed the students, clearly lacked any manners.

"Excuse me, can you tell us about All Might?!"

"Is it true that he's become a teacher at U.A.?!"

"Can you ask him to come out here?!"

Every question reeked of desperation, which was natural. All Might was Japan's number one hero—the most admired man of all, the Symbol of Peace.

Even the smallest piece of news about him would make front-page headlines in every newspaper, which was why every reporter in the city was desperate to get a scoop.

"I'm sorry, I need to go to the infirmary!" Deku, unable to handle the situation, ran inside.

Iida, who had arrived around the same time, seemed eager to answer the reporters' questions.

"It is true that All Might is a teacher. Honestly, I was surprised. For you, he represents authority and justice, but we have also been able to learn from his sense of humor."

Iida began talking and talking about his impressions and admiration for All Might, but that wasn't what they wanted to hear, so they ignored him and tried to interview Uraraka, who nearly slipped away successfully before being intercepted.

"You can tell us something about All Might, right?!"

Ochako raised her hands, trying not to feel overwhelmed.

"I don't really know much about All Might..."

Allen watched this lazily. He had no intention whatsoever of talking to reporters, so he decided to walk past them and enter.

Before getting closer, Allen felt a malicious gaze on his back. When he turned around, he saw a boy with dull gray hair watching the entrance to U.A. from an alley.

He looked disheveled, with bloodshot eyes—like someone who hadn't slept in days and was under the effects of some kind of drug.

Allen narrowed his eyes, and at that moment, the other boy also noticed him.

They stared at each other in silence, but just as Allen was about to approach, he heard a shout.

"Move!"

Turning around, he saw Bakugo, who had finally exploded from dealing with the reporters. However, he was restrained by Kirishima, who dragged him inside.

"Idiot dynamite head, you can't fight civilians!" Kirishima scolded him.

Allen shook his head and walked toward the entrance. He didn't bother looking back because he knew that the young man was no longer there.

'A villain?'

U.A. High School was a fortress. It had multiple security systems and barriers protecting the students, as well as professional heroes everywhere. In a case like this, only truly deranged villains would dare attack such a place.

"What's wrong with that kid?"

A female reporter was irritated by Bakugo's attitude. Didn't he care about bad publicity? One of the lesser-mentioned aspects was that in this world, a hero didn't just need strength and skill. It might sound superficial, but reputation and the love of the people were essential for a professional hero.

"...?"

The reporter froze when she saw a white-haired boy walk past her. For a moment, she thought it was the famous Shoto Todoroki—but it wasn't.

She tried to speak to him but stopped instinctively. Not just her—every other reporter seemed to lose control of their bodies, unable to bother the young man. He was surrounded by a strange, invisible aura that stole the breath from their lungs.

From the rooftop of a building, the disheveled youth watched Allen's back as he entered U.A.

"Kurogiri, who is that boy?"

A mass of dark energy manifested beside him.

"What's wrong, Tomura Shigaraki? Are you interested in a U.A. student?"

"They're all brats, but don't forget that in the future, they could become professional heroes..."

"That's true. Do you want to investigate him while you have the chance?"

Shigaraki began scratching his neck as his red eyes filled with murderous intent.

"I don't like that guy..." Shigaraki growled.

Kurogiri was surprised to see Shigaraki show such intense dislike toward a young man he didn't even know—and who, to him, should have been insignificant, since he wasn't even a professional hero.
