Alvida, Mikita, Zala and Marianne looked around. Pau Ra Pa scanned the area.
"Should we head inside?" Mikita asked as she looked at the smoke cloud in the background.
"The Howtizer is strong," Marianne remarked.
"They all are," Zala agreed as she felt the explosion rock the area.
Alvida picked up her walkie-talkie. "My love, we are heading inside," Alvida said.
"Okay," Ben's voice crackled. "Everyone, start to move in if you can, be careful and I love you all," Ben added.
"Why did he add the last part?" Mikita asked as she smiled.
"There will be people who no longer focus," Zala remarked. She had her hands on her hips.
Alvida giggled. "My love is only being truthful," Alvida said. "Let's keep sharp," she added.
"Yes," Marianne said. "Pau Ra Pa go," she added as she pointed to a group of pirates scrambling to their feet.
Pau Ra Pa lifted her left hand. She powered her large cannon. It glowed bright and fired a beam. The beam went flying through the air and hit the group of men. There was a loud explosion and the men went flying into the air and hit the ground.
"Good shot," Mikita said.
"Let's go," Alvida said as she charged forward towards another group of pirates.
"There is someone coming," the pirate said as he grabbed his sword.
"Kanabo Swing," Alvida said as she held her mace. She swung the heavy weapon in a brutal arc and caught the pirates squarely in their faces. The force was devastating. Their teeth shattered and blood sprayed into the air. The men were sent flying backward from the sheer impact.
"Stinger Finger," Zala cried as her fingers transformed into long, lethal spikes. She swung and slashed a group of pirates. The men gasped and spat blood. They got sliced as they collapsed into the rapidly spreading pools of their own gore.
"Who are they?" a pirate shouted as he picked up a sword.
"Call Captain Lytton," another added.
"Groundbreaker," Mikita shouted as she leapt high into the air. She increased her weight and plummeted like a fallen star. She slammed into the center of the pirate. The impact shattered the stone beneath her and created a massive shockwave that sent the surrounding pirates flying backward like ragdolls. They crashed into the ground and laid motionless.
"You are certainly heavy," Zala teased. "Does Ben not get a bad back carrying you," she added.
"I can be lighter than you," Mikita replied.
"Laughter Yellow," Marianne declared as she dipped her brush in yellow paint. She threw it at a number of pirates and they started to laugh uncontrollably. They collapsed to the ground laughing hard.
"Good job," Alvida said as she swung her mace and broke a pirate`s skull. He collapsed to the ground and walked over his body.
Pau Ra Pa moved forward and swung her pink blade down. She cut a pirate down and looked ahead.
"What is that?" Marianne asked as she looked at a series of large, heavy burlap bags stacked near the rear service entrance.
A group of pirates came forward. "Stop them getting the bags," one shouted.
"Captain Appo will kill us if we let them take it," another added.
"Storm Leg," Zala said as she kicked at high speed and strength which launched a sharp compressed blade of wind at the pirates. The pirates got hit by the blade of wind and spat blood. They went flying back and hit the ground.
"So that confirms he is here," Zala remarked.
"We should have captured them alive," Mikita said. She looked around. "But this does mean he is here," she added.
Alvida walked towards the bag and opened. She saw jewelry, gems and gold. "They are planning to loot this place," she remarked.
"Typical pirates," Marianne said.
Zala walked towards a pirate who was bleeding and barely moving. She got towards and kicked him. She then grabbed him. "Where is Apoo?" Zala asked.
"You are crazy," the pirate replied. "Captain Apoo will not let you get away," he added as he coughed blood.
"Well if you tell us where he is we can go there," Zala responded.
"He is inside the Throne Room," the pirate responded. "You will all die," he added as blood dripped down.
Zala then kneaded him in the chest and dropped him.
"So he is in there?" Marianne asked.
"Yes, Marianne, could you and Pa Ra Pa, hold the pirate off here?" Alvida asked.
Marianne nodded. "Okay give him hell," Marianne said. "Betrayal Black," Marianne said with a wicked grin. She threw black paint at the pirates. The pirates got hit. They stopped and turned around and started to attack their comrades.
"Let's put them on," Alvida said as she put ear buds in her ears. Zala and Mikita did the same.
Mikita wore her Gauntlets. "I am going to hurt him," she said.
Zala, Mikita and Alvida rushed into the palace. They entered a long hallway when they saw a tall figure with long, accordion-like arms.
"Apoo," Alvida shouted as she rushed toward him. "Slip on Slide," Alvida said as she leaned forward and let her feet slide effortlessly across the ground. She glided towards him.
Scratchmen Apoo stopped. His toothy grin widening as he saw Alvida skidding toward him. "Who are you?" Apoo questioned.
"Your worst nightmare, she said said. "You have hurt us and we are going to hurt you," she added as she closed the distance in an instant.
Apoo smiled. "Too bad," Apoo said. ""Bop," Apoo added as he turned his forearm into strings and plucked them. Apoo released a sound wave that went toward Alvida. However Alvida was unaffected. "What?" he questioned.
"Kanabo Reaper," Alvida said as she swung the mace in a wide arc. She hit Apoo in the chest. Apoo got hit with spikes. He was lifted off his feet and went flying back. He felt like he lost his strength for a moment as he crashed on the ground.
Apoo spat blood as he got up. He thought about what that was. "Slash," Apoo said as he turned his jaw into a cymbal and played it by pushing down on his head. He released a sound wave towards Alvida however once again it did nothing.
"We are also here," Mikita said as she looked at her Gauntlets. "Devastating Meteor Strike," Mikita said as she leapt into the air. At the apex of her jump, she exponentially spiked her weight to ten thousand kilograms. She descended like a vengeful star and slammed onto Apoo`s back. The earth groaned and buckled.
Apoo spat blood. He felt his back get shattered from the attack. His eyes widened as he was forced hard into the ground. He could feel a bone break. Apoo felt his strength go away. He quickly used his long arms and tried to smack Mikita away.
Mikita jumped back as she saw Apoo get up. His body was hurting. "Slash," Apoo said as he turned his jaw into a cymbal and played it by pushing down on his head. He released a sound wave towards Mikita however it did nothing.
"How?" Apoo questioned.
"Double Stinger," Zala said as she turned her hands into a single, large spike. She thrust it forward and stabbed Apoo's shoulder. She pierced his flesh and blood came out.
Apoo's mouth widened as he saw himself get stabbed. "Where did you come from?" he questioned as blood came out from his wound.
Apoo quickly used his other long hand and tried to grab Zala. Zala pulled back and jumped away.
"Bop," Apoo said as he turned his forearm into strings and plucked them. Apoo released a sound wave however it did not once more.
He spat blood and smiled. He looked closely and saw ear buds in their ears. "So you figured it out?" he questioned. "That my ability only works if you can hear it," he said as he smiled. "If you think you can defeat him by this, you are truly mistaken," he added as he took his tonfas out and held them.
"Looks like he still has some tricks," Zala remarked.
"We will still make him pay for hurting our sisters," Alvida stated.
