...
But as Jimmy reached the ropes, a massive hand reached up from the ringside floor. Erick Rowan had recovered. He grabbed Jimmy by the throat from the outside, utilizing his immense height. With terrifying power, Rowan lifted Jimmy completely over the top rope, dragging him out into the air, and slammed him down onto the unforgiving ringside floor with a devastating, bone shattering Iron Claw Slam!
"Good god!" Cole shrieked in horror. "Rowan just broke Jimmy Uso in half on the floor!"
Inside the ring, Jey watched his brother get annihilated. He hesitated for just a fraction of a second, torn between checking on Jimmy and finishing the match.
Knowing he had to secure the win, Jey threw caution to the wind. He leaped from the top turnbuckle, launching his body through the air for the Uso Splash on Harper!
But the brief hesitation was all Harper needed. Harper rolled out of the way.
Jey crashed hard onto the canvas, rolling through the impact, clutching his ribs. He immediately popped back up to his feet, spinning around to find Harper.
He found a nightmare.
Harper had used the ropes to pull himself up. As Jey turned around, Harper spun with blinding, terrifying speed, unleashing a brutal, decapitating Discus Clothesline that nearly tore Jey Uso's head off his shoulders!
The impact sounded like a car crash. Jey folded backward, hitting the mat completely unconscious.
Harper collapsed on top of him, hooking the leg with his heavy arm, his chest heaving from exhaustion.
The referee slid into position.
"ONE!"
"TWO!"
"THREE!"
DING! DING! DING!
The heavy, haunting acoustic theme of the Wyatt Family hit the stadium speakers, instantly drawing a massive, visceral chorus of boos from the Stamford audience.
"They did it," Cole said, his voice laced with shock and a deep, reluctant respect. "The Wyatt Family just pinned the World Tag Team Champions in the middle of the ring."
"It was an absolute war!" Lawler added, catching his breath. "The Usos gave them everything they had. They were seconds away from hitting the double splash! But Bray Wyatt caused the distraction, Rowan neutralized Jimmy on the outside, and Harper delivered the kill shot!"
"That is what apex predators do, gentlemen!" JBL gloated, leaning back in his chair. "They isolate, they distract, and they destroy! The Wyatt Family want to prove they are the most dangerous force in this entire company, which will never happen as long gas the God King sits at his throne!"
Inside the ring, Harper slowly pushed himself up to his knees. Rowan rolled under the bottom rope, standing tall behind his partner.
Bray Wyatt calmly stepped through the ropes. He walked to the center of the ring, looking down at the broken bodies of the Tag Team Champions. He let out a low, echoing laugh, spreading his arms wide, bathing in the drowning hatred of the WWE Universe.
The match was over. They had proven their point.
But Bray Wyatt wasn't finished.
He dropped his arms, the smile vanishing from his face. He looked at Harper and Rowan, giving a slow, deliberate nod.
It was an order for an execution.
Harper and Rowan immediately descended on the unconscious Usos. Harper began stomping ruthlessly on Jey's neck and shoulders. Rowan dragged Jimmy into the ring by his hair, throwing heavy, bare knuckle right hands into the champion's face.
The boos from the crowd intensified, turning into a deafening roar of disgust.
"What is this?!" Cole yelled in panic. "The match is over! You proved your point, Bray! Call them off!"
"He wants to make sure they don't get back up!" JBL justified, watching the carnage unfold. "He is cementing their dominance!"
Bray grabbed Jey Uso by the hair, hauling him up to his feet. He kissed Jey on the forehead, dipped him backward, and drove him face first into the mat with a devastating Sister Abigail!
Bray knelt beside the broken champion, laughing into the microphone, his eyes wide and manic.
But the laugh was violently cut short.
"AWWWWW STAMFORD! DON'T YOU DARE BE SOUR!"
The loud, booming voice of Big E ripped through the stadium speakers, instantly overriding the boos with a massive surge of hope. The energetic, upbeat gospel music of The New Day hit the sound system!
The crowd exploded into absolute euphoria!
Bursting through the curtain, moving with furious, uncharacteristic aggression, were Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and Big E. They didn't dance. They didn't throw pancakes. They sprinted down the long steel ramp with absolute fury in their eyes, seeking payback for the brutal beatdown they had suffered at the hands of the Wyatt Family just one week prior.
"Here comes The New Day!" Lawler cheered at the top of his lungs. "They want revenge, and they want it right now!"
The trio slid into the ring simultaneously.
Big E hit the ring like a runaway locomotive. He didn't even throw a punch; he simply lowered his shoulder and tackled Erick Rowan with a massive spear, driving the giant through the middle ropes and crashing out to the ringside floor!
Harper turned around, swinging a wild clothesline. Xavier Woods ducked underneath it, delivering a rapid fire combination of strikes. As Harper stumbled backward, Kofi Kingston launched himself into the air, connecting cleanly with a devastating Trouble in Paradise kick that knocked Harper flat on his back!
The crowd was losing their minds, chanting loudly for The New Day.
Bray Wyatt stood up, his manic smile returning as he found himself completely surrounded by Woods and Kingston. Bray threw a heavy right hook at Woods, but Woods blocked it. Kofi kicked Bray in the gut.
Before they could follow up, Jimmy and Jey Uso, fueled by pure adrenaline and pride, staggered to their feet.
The twin brothers looked at each other, nodded, and lunged forward.
CRACK! CRACK!
A simultaneous double superkick caught Bray Wyatt flush on the jaw, sending the Eater of Worlds stumbling backward through the ropes and tumbling out to the ringside mats!
The arena absolutely erupted into a deafening roar of approval!
"They got him!" Cole screamed, jumping up and down. "The New Day and The Usos just cleared the ring of the Wyatt Family!"
Bray Wyatt crashed to the floor, clutching his jaw, genuine surprise flashing across his face for the first time all evening. Harper and Rowan scrambled to his side, pulling their leader up, ready to slide back into the ring and continue the war.
But Bray held his arms out, stopping his monsters.
He touched his jaw, feeling the swelling from the superkicks. He looked up at the five men standing unified in the center of the ring, staring down at him with absolute defiance.
Bray didn't look angry. Slowly, terrifyingly, that dark, twisted smile crept back across his face. He began to laugh, a low, echoing chuckle that was picked up by the ringside microphones. He waved his hand, ordering Harper and Rowan to back down.
The Wyatt Family slowly began to retreat up the steel ramp, never taking their eyes off the ring.
The broadcast faded to black on an unforgettable, tension filled visual. The Usos and The New Day stood tall in the center of the ring, a unified front of champions and challengers. But walking backward up the ramp, surrounded by the fireflies of the crowd, Bray Wyatt simply smiled.
He had destroyed the God King, he had his monsters pinned the Tag Team Champions, and he had proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that the entire landscape of Monday Night RAW now belonged to his family.
The live broadcast of Monday Night RAW had officially faded to black, but for the modern WWE Universe, the show was far from over.
Within minutes of the chaotic ending involving the Wyatt Family, The Usos, and The New Day, the digital wrestling community shifted into high gear. Fans migrated to Twitter, Reddit, and independent wrestling forums to debate the violent events that had just unfolded.
The online chatter reached a boiling point an hour later when the official WWE Twitter account released an exclusive digital video featuring the new RAW General Manager.
Mick Foley stood in his backstage office, looking deadly serious, his trademark flannel shirt rolled up to his elbows.
"What happened tonight was completely unacceptable," Foley stated directly to the camera, his voice carrying a firm, authoritative tone. "I promised to make Monday Night RAW exciting, but I will not allow this brand to devolve into the Wild West. Therefore, effective immediately, heavy fines are being issued to everyone involved in the unsanctioned brawls tonight. That includes The New Day, The Usos, and the Wyatt Family."
Foley paused, leaning closer to the lens.
"And let me be crystal clear. The God King is no exception. Sandro Zhang is being fined a significant amount for introducing a sledgehammer into this conflict last week, which directly instigated tonight's chaos."
The General Manager then shifted gears, delivering a massive piece of booking news.
"But out of chaos, we find opportunity,* Foley continued. "Next week on RAW, our final stop before SummerSlam, we need a definitive number one contender for the World Tag Team Championships. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan pinned the champions tonight. But The New Day ran them out of the building. So next week, it will be Harper and Rowan taking on Big E and Xavier Woods. The winners will move on to SummerSlam to challenge The Usos for the gold. Have a nice day!"
The wrestling community exploded. Fans immediately flooded the tweet with thousands of retweets, likes, and comments.
The response was overwhelmingly positive. Fans praised Mick Foley for establishing order while also booking a massive, high stakes match for the go home show.
"Finally, a GM who actually punishes people and books matches that make sense!" one top rated comment read.
"Foley is cooking! New Day vs. Wyatts with title implications is going to be a war," another fan tweeted.
But just as the digital wrestling world was celebrating the General Manager's firm hand, a second notification shook the timeline.
Sandro Zhang had entered the chat.
The God King did not release a video. He simply fired off a lengthy, blistering tweet, directly tagging Mick Foley and the official WWE account.
"@RealMickFoley @WWE You want to hand out fines while rewarding the people who attacked me from behind? You give the Wyatt Family a number one contender's match after they put their greasy, unwashed hands on my girlfriends while I was unconscious? You are absolutely no different than Paul Heyman. You just wear a cheaper shirt. You have clearly chosen to side with Bray Wyatt. If you do not rectify this immediately, my legal team will sue you, the network, and the board of directors. I will personally see to it that you are fired before the end of the month."
Sandro didn't stop there. He added a second, equally demanding post to the thread.
"Furthermore, since you care so much about match results, my girlfriend Nikki Bella pinned the Divas Champion tonight. I expect her championship match at SummerSlam to be made official immediately. Do your job, Foley."
The internet wrestling community practically caught fire.
Wrestling journalists, analysts, and podcasters scrambled to cover the unfolding digital drama. Late night YouTube streams went live, breaking down the sheer audacity of Sandro's threats.
"Sandro isn't just cutting a promo, he is flexing his corporate leverage," a prominent wrestling podcaster analyzed during a live broadcast. "We all know who his family is. We know the power Nexum Core has. He is openly threatening the General Manager's job because Foley didn't protect his inner circle. And bringing AJ, Nikki, and Alexa into it? Sandro is drawing a massive line in the sand."
The fans were deeply divided. Some argued that Sandro had every right to be furious after watching his girlfriends get physically blocked by two monsters. Others blasted the God King have returned back to become the entitled, arrogant champion who throws a temper tantrum because things didn't go his way.
The digital world held its breath, waiting to see if the beloved Hardcore Legend would cave to the demands of the billionaire champion.
Foley's response arrived early the next morning.
It was short, sharp, and dripping with zero intimidation.
"@SandroZhang I am completely impartial in handling my job as General Manager. If you have any complaints about my performance, you are more than welcome to bring them up to Vince McMahon, or you can go cry to your daddy. Harper and Rowan pinned the champions fair and square, they earned their number one contender match. As for Nikki, a pin is a pin, regardless of the circumstances. She will get her Divas Championship match at SummerSlam against Brie. And as for you, Sandro... I have been doing my job. I have secured a mysterious opponent for you at SummerSlam. Someone who was very hard to persuade, but Vince McMahon himself greenlighted the contract after I made it happen. See you on Monday."
The revelation hit the timeline like a digital atomic bomb.
The phrase "mysterious opponent" immediately became the number one trending topic worldwide. Critics and fans alike feverishly speculated about the identity of the challenger. Was it a returning legend? A major free agent signing? Someone from Sandro's past?
Hours later, Sandro issued a simple, chillingly confident three word response.
"Bring it on."
As the week progressed, the intense anticipation temporarily shifted from the digital sphere back to the live arena. Friday Night SmackDown had rolled into town, and the blue brand promised its own brand of high-stakes volatility.
The main event segment featured a formal contract signing, mediated by SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long.
The ring was covered in a black carpet, a polished wooden table set in the center. Edge sat in a leather chair on one side, dressed in street clothes, his face bruised from the vicious brawl the previous week. On the opposite side sat Christian, wearing his wrestling gear, the dented Money in the Bank briefcase resting securely on the table in front of him.
Teddy Long stood at the head of the table, holding a clipboard.
"Gentlemen," Long began, looking between the two bitter rivals. "We all know the history here. The friendship is over. Now, it's about business. You two have agreed to settle your differences at SummerSlam. And because of the personal animosity, I have authorized this to be an Unsanctioned TLC Match. Tables, Ladders, and Chairs."
The crowd roared in approval. The TLC match was the exact environment where Edge and Christian had forged their legendary tag team legacy. Now, they were going to use it to destroy each other.
Christian didn't hesitate. He grabbed the pen, signed his name on the dotted line, and shoved the clipboard across the table.
Edge looked down at the contract, but he didn't pick up the pen. He leaned back in his chair, a cold, mocking smile on his face.
"I'm not signing that," Edge stated flatly.
The crowd booed loudly. Teddy Long frowned. "Now hold on a minute, playa. We had an agreement."
"We had an agreement to fight," Edge corrected, keeping his eyes locked on Christian. "But if I am going to step into a TLC match, a match that I put on the map, I want some actual stakes. I don't just want to beat you, Christian. I want to take away the only thing that makes you relevant."
Edge pointed a finger directly at the green briefcase.
"I am not signing this contract unless you put the Money in the Bank contract on the line," Edge demanded.
A loud, collective gasp rippled through the audience, followed quickly by a wave of heavy boos. It was a massive, incredibly dangerous demand. Christian had broken his body to win that briefcase. Risking it against the Ultimate Opportunist was borderline suicidal.
Christian stared at Edge in silence. The veteran looked down at the briefcase, tracing the dents in the metal, before looking back up at his former best friend.
"You think Chicago was a fluke, don't you?" Christian asked, his voice low and gritty.
Edge simply smirked, offering a condescending shrug.
Christian stood up from his chair.
"You think I got lucky," Christian said, his voice rising with fierce determination. "You think I can't beat you when the chips are really down. Well, Edge... I'm going to show you, and I am going to show the whole world, exactly who I am. You want the briefcase? You got it. It's on the line."
The crowd erupted!
Christian had accepted the challenge, raising the stakes for SummerSlam to an astronomical level.
Teddy Long quickly amended the contract, writing the stipulation in before sliding it back to Edge. Edge's smile widened into a look of predatory satisfaction. He grabbed the pen, signed his name with a flourish, and tossed the pen onto the table.
"See you at SummerSlam," Edge mocked.
Without warning, Edge snatched the heavy leather binder holding the contract and swung it violently, slapping Christian directly across the face with the heavy folder!
Christian stumbled backward, shaking off the sting. His eyes went wide with pure rage. He launched himself across the table, tackling Edge to the mat!
The two men brawled wildly, rolling over the shattered table, throwing heavy, bare knuckle punches. Teddy Long yelled for security as the two bitter enemies tore into each other, providing a chaotic, violent end to SmackDown and perfectly setting the stage for their legendary collision at the biggest party of the summer.
The weekend flew by, the wrestling world consumed by the dual narratives of the impending TLC match and the mystery surrounding Sandro Zhang's SummerSlam opponent.
By Monday night, the WWE production machine had taken over the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The massive arena was packed to the absolute rafters, the Texas crowd buzzing with restless, highly vocal energy.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The opening pyrotechnics shot into the air in a blinding display of red and gold, the concussive blasts rattling the steel barricades. Thousands of fans waved their homemade signs, roaring in approval as the broadcast camera swept dynamically across the sea of humanity.
"Welcome, everyone, to Monday Night RAW!" Cole shouted over the deafening noise, officially kicking off the broadcast. "We are live in Dallas, Texas, and we are officially on the final road to SummerSlam!"
"It is the biggest party of the summer, Michael, and the temperature is boiling hot!" Lawler added enthusiastically. "The internet has been melting down all week over the week due to the war of words between our General Manager and the God King on Twitter!"
