Early Saturday morning, Vera Wave headed to the airport. Upon arrival, she smoothly met up with Rowan Nichols and the others. Together, they boarded a flight to Yiwu and then took the crew's bus to Eriwald Film City.
There was no time to enjoy the scenery. As the second lead, Vera rushed to join the crew and, after hastily eating a boxed meal, immediately went to change and get her makeup done.
Halfway through her makeup, Irene Spencer arrived leisurely, with Assistant Anabel Wilton accompanying her on-set.
Catching sight of the long-absent figure from the corner of her eye, Vera acted as if she hadn't seen her, not turning her head an inch from her seat.
"Irene, have a seat!" Anabel Wilton pulled out a chair for Irene. Seeing Vera's demeanor, Anabel twisted her mouth in disdain.
The makeup artist came over to prepare, chatting with Irene as she worked. "Irene, isn't this dress a new style from Paris?"
