Chapter 7 - You're a Level 2 Light-born

At the neighboring castle,

Queen Mica appeared to be upset as her daughter lay still in bed. She hurried into the room and pulled back the curtains, allowing the sunlight to disturb Fiona.

"Get up, sleepyhead," she said, shaking her daughter.

"Fiona, it's time to get up and prepare for the next plan."

Grumbling, Fiona got out of bed and headed to the bathtub, which had already been prepared by the maids.

"You shouldn't bathe, dear,"

Queen Mica said, causing Fiona to turn back with a confused look.

"But why shouldn't I take my bath, mother?"

Fiona asked, feeling a bit irritated.

"Today, dear, you are going to the palace as a kidnapped princess who was found by one of the guards,"

Queen Mica explained with a smile.

"Oh, wonderful, mother. Do you have a spell to change my appearance or make it more believable with some bruises on my body?"

Fiona inquired.

"Make sure it's a spell that Father won't notice," Queen Mica added.

Proud of her daughter, Queen Mica saw Fiona as the right candidate to achieve their goal. She wanted a puppet to be the queen, and her daughter was becoming more like her.

"Our dreams are all coming to fruition now that Lily is no longer alive," Queen Mica said with a smile.

"Just like her mother, she will always be naive. It's a good thing I killed her myself," she laughed, forgetting her daughter was with her.

"What did you say, mother?" Fiona asked, realizing she had almost exposed herself.

"Did I say anything, dear?" Queen Mica asked, looking her daughter in the eyes.

"No, mother, I must have misheard you," Fiona quickly replied, not wanting to fall into her mother's trap.

"Of course, dear. I will send someone to bruise you, while I go to the palace to avoid any suspicion," Queen Mica said as she left without giving her daughter a glance.

Fiona now knew that her mother was not someone to be trifled with. She was not going to be naive like Lily. She understood that her mother was using her, but she needed to pretend and let her mother help her to secure the throne.

"Then we will see who is using whom, mother?" she muttered to herself.

The Palace of Gultan.

Queen Mica arrived at the Palace and headed to his highness chamber.

Signaling the guard to announce her presence, she entered and saw his highness trying to get himself drunk, but all in vain because he was a level 10 awaken light-born, the liquor was powerless to him.

Seeing this, Queen Mica smiled to herself.

"I must be very lucky," she said to herself.

"Did I permit you to enter my chamber, Mica?" he asked, shouting.

"My Lord, I heard our daughters had been abducted, how did this happen?" she said with a smirk.

"Who told you that?" he asked, sure he had asked Philp to keep it a secret between themselves.

"My Lord, the whole Kingdom is talking about it," she said.

"My King, what will happen to my child?" she shed fake tears. He saw this and fell for it.

He got up from his seat and held Mica's hand.

"Dear, nothing will happen to our daughter," he said.

"Nothing will happen when she hasn't been abducted," she muttered to herself.

Mica hugged her husband with a smile, she had won this round.

"Where is the goddess to save you from my wrath?" she said to herself.

I would say the goddess is having fun watching, don't you think?

After that, she pulled away from the hug and went to her chamber at the East wing of the palace, where all the King's concubines and his child stay.

You may be asking yourself, does the King have a son? The answer is better left untold.

Upon entering her chamber, a masked man was waiting for her arrival.

"Lady Mica, we have done all that you have asked of us,"

The masked man said.

"Well, that's good. Is there anything else?"

"Lady Mica, my master said if you need any help in the future, don't hesitate to let him know," he immediately stated.

She was now upset that the fly had left without her asking it to. She felt a little upset now, but not for long.

And she declared that everything was now under her control and she wouldn't allow anyone to manipulate her.

She was aware that the king would suspect someone from the palace was watching them.

Lady Mica wanted to confirm his suspicions to distract him and ensure her other plan would succeed.

She was willing to take the risk, as the most important thing was to ensure her daughter didn't make a mistake or she would definitely kill her.

The Cauldron of Creations

Lily remained in a meditative position as Adeline smiled, sensing the energy emanating from the young lady. Mother must have a plan, but she couldn't interfere in her children's business.

Suddenly, everything changed and the place grew dark. Something must be wrong, she thought to herself.

Lily's expression was hidden and her body was no longer in The Cauldron of Creations; it was in the air.

She had entered another realm while her body remained in the air.

"She's really doing it, I didn't even know when she reached level 2 light-born,"

Adeline muttered to herself, a smile creeping onto her face.

"Great job in reaching level 2 light-born," said a voice in Lily's head.

"What!! Level 2, you must be joking," she screamed in excitement and confusion.

"As you say, my Lady. By the way, if you check your surroundings, they are different. Don't you think?" the voice asked.

"Wait a second, who are you?" she asked, feeling a bit confused.

"That's not important for now, master. For now, all you need to know is that I am a voice in your head. You will reach a certain level before you see me," it said.

"Hmm, I see. What level, if I may ask?" she asked, feeling impatient.

"I can't say that now, because you are restricted from knowing until you reach level 4 shadow-born," the voice replied.

"So then, what shall I call you?" she asked.

"Anything the master decides," it said.

"Okay, then I will think of a better name later. My problem is how can I get back to the other side?" she asked.

"Simply close your eyes and imagine where you were before coming here, master," it replied.

Lily immediately began to do as she was told.

"Don't lose concentration, master," it said.

Everything began to return to how it was, and Lily opened her

Eyes.

"Yes, I did it," she shouted happily.

Then she saw Adaline looking at her in a questioning way, realizing she was still naked and floating in the air.

She was naked and could only cover her breasts with her right hand and her genitals with her left hand.

Adeline saw this and laughed.

"Sorry, master, you're being laughed at and at this point, you can't do anything to her," the voice in her head said.

"Can she hear you at this point?" she asked.

"Nobody can," it answered.

Without wasting any time, Adeline dressed her and brought her down using a spell.

"Eat up and then I will need to give you some teaching," said Adeline as a table of food appeared.

"About what?" she asked.

"Eat up first, dear," she said, not wanting to give her an answer.

"Okay, if you insist," she said before immediately stuffing food into her mouth.

"You are a level 2 light-born, dear, so you changed the weather a moment ago."

"What does it mean if changing the weather affects me?" she asked, seeming a little confused.

"At this stage, a level 2 light-born has achieved proficiency in basic healing and purification, and is now capable of generating light."

"They can utilize this light to brighten dark areas or create diversions. They can also start to manipulate the weather, inducing rain or wind."

Lily stood up from her seat and started to walk back and forth.

"Are you suggesting that I just manipulated the weather? You can't be serious," Lily said, clearly skeptical but sensing that something within her had shifted.

If this was indeed possible, then she could use it to her benefit. This time, those who had labeled her as weak would have to confront her.

She smiled, aware that everything was in accordance with the goddess's wishes, so it would be accomplished.

"At level 3, the light-born has even greater control over the elements and can use their powers to grow plants or control animals,"

Adeline continued.

"Master, don't worry. I sense that you want to be more powerful and conquer Gultan,"

The voice in her head immediately said, diverting her from her pacing.

"Oh, okay. Then we must work hard together, don't you think?" she replied to it with a smile.

Adeline saw this and asked, "Why are you smiling? Are you planning anything?"

"Not at all. This time, I need to train and I need to learn some combat," she said, determined.

Indeed, you need that," Adeline smiled.

"I want a surprise arrival in the palace, and that's when the game begins."

This time, her brown eyes glowed and changed to crimson black. This was a sign of an angry shadow-born.

"Calm down, and I need you to get into The Cauldron of Creations," Adeline immediately said to change the topic.

Afraid Lily might go to the realm of fallen.

She felt some danger towards this girl, and there must be a reason why she was chosen.

Lily immediately got into the pool in a meditative way, and everywhere began to glow different colors.
