[3rd POV]
A few more hours had passed since the rather serious conversation that had occurred between Catelyn and Ned, and it was finally time for the dinner to begin. It was a bit of a personal one, as Ned made sure that the only ones that would be there was his family, and Lucifers.
No servants were to be present, nor anyone else. He had been very open about that part, as he did not want anyone to be there during the conversation that was going to be had. He did not want anyone to find out about Lucifer being...well, all the Gods.
And if she was all the Gods, that meant that she was effectively shattering millennia of religious practices. Not to mention the sheer amount of beliefs that the truth about her would shatter. Wars have started countless times over her many different aspects, and if anyone had found out it would cause all sorts of problems.
Ned was pretty sure that the God that was in Winterfell could probably erase the memories of her being there if she truly wanted, but he would rather not test that. And he was not sure what kind of a god she was, and if she was willing to kill or punish over that sort of thing.
He wasn't going to test it, that's for sure.
He had heard all sorts of stories about that sort of thing. Horror stories about legends and myths about Gods that were not exactly pleased about being called upon, and then the one that called them gets punished horrifically in all sorts of ways.
So now that he was sat at the table, his wife was sitting next to him tensely. And his children were there as well, with Sansa, his newborn daughter being held by his wife in her arms.
And for the first time ever, Jon was at the table with them. The boy seemed utterly confused on why he was there, but seemed happier more than anything. He had never been in that seat before, and was very pleased.
The family was waiting for Lucifers to arrive. And while she was not late or anything, it was becoming obvious that Catelyn was beginning to get annoyed with them not being there yet. Which was normally valid, but Lucifer was a God so...
Although it be fair to Catelyn, she had no idea what Lucifer was, and how she was basically all their Gods.
From the sounds of it, there was only a handful of Gods out there that Lucifer was not. And he didn't know of a single God that she was not. The ones that she didn't embody were the strangest most out of place "Gods" you can imagine. Which meant that they likely weren't even Gods in the first place.
Eventually, after waiting for a few more minutes for them to arrive, the large door opened. As Lucifer walked in, her wife at her side with a smile on her face, and Daenerys walking in front of them. The girl seemed rather lost with the current situation, but also seemed a bit excited.
She had never eaten at the same table as someone like Ned or any of the nobility of Westeros for that matter.
"Apologies for being so late. We had lost track of time as we were exploring the castle" Lucifer apologized, as they had genuinely been doing that. Mostly the underground hidden tunnels, finding all sorts of nooks and crannies.
The one that had caught her eye more than any of the others was the ancient vault of the Stark Family. The vault had seemingly been lost or forgotten over the hundreds of years. As if it wasn't...well, that was a problem, considering it was absolutely full to the brim with gold and gems.
And by full, it was quite literally hard to walk because of how much there was. The gold inside was likely millions of Gold dragons worth. Lucifer wondered how they had that much, and looked into the past of the gold.
She found that they had gathered it all over years long ago. They had gathered it when they still had a navy, by pillaging pirates of old, that were far deadlier back then, and had far more gold. But the major force that they had stolen most of the gold from, was the "Invaders" aka the Andals that had a living shit load of it.
Thanks to this, they had gathered a shit ton of gold over the course of what seemed to be several decades. And that gold had been lost and forgotten after the last lord that had gathered it, had died before telling it's hidden location to his son. As the vault was very hidden, and was protected by ancient runes crafted by Bran the Builder himself.
"Yeah the castle is truly beautiful, Lord Stark" Alice said at her side with an apologetic smile, as they moved to sit across from Ned. It was just one large table that they were all sitting at. And in most cases it'd be the head table and then smaller ones.
But Lucifer and her family were a special case. Catelyn seemed irritated with this entire situation, and was barely holding back her urge to yell at her husband, but had restrained herself out of kindness. Mostly because there were children there.
"Thank you, Lady Alice. And it is quite alright, Lord Lucifer. I take it you liked the Godswood?" Ned asked with a small smile, inwardly beaming at the praise.
The fact that the Gods that they worshiped were standing before them, and had been openly praising their family was incredible. And the fact that she had admitted before that the Northerners were her favorite worshippers, made him even happier.
"I did. It was beautiful. And you have kept it in incredible condition. Truly impressive" Lucifer replied, as Catelyn frowned.
"You were allowed access to the Godswood?" Catelyn asked, confused as she looked at her husband.
"Mmm, not particularly. I sort of...let myself in" Lucifer replied as she took a sip of the high quality wine. The taste was not the best, but it was some of the better wine she had had in this world.
"Cat, please listen to her before you do anything rash. Lord Lucifer will explain who she truly is, if you just let her" Ned said, cutting his wife off before she can do anything stupid. The woman looked even more lost, as Lucifer smiled.
"Smart move there, Ned. I was hoping your wife would take the conversation you had earlier to heart, but it would seem I need to show off a little to get it through her thick skull that she cannot keep treating a child like she has been" Lucifer said, as Robb and Jon looked lost, with Daenerys being only a little less lost.
Catelyn went wide eyed as she realized that Lucifer knew, but before she had uttered a word, she went speechless, not a sound echoing from her throat as Lucifer began to glow brilliantly. A golden glow and a green glow curling around her, as images of a giant tree flickered behind her, with seven other golden figures, male and female flickering besides the tree.
Catelyn looked awed and terrified as she stared, while Ned softly clasped his wife's hand.
"Cat, I'd like you to meet Lord Lucifer Morningstar. She is also known as the Old Gods, the Seven, R'hllor, Balerion, and all other Gods you know of" Ned explained, as his wife stared for a while longer, before Lucifer stretched her hand out, as Catelyn fell back and fainted. While the baby Sansa giggled as she floated in the air.
Seeing what just happened, Alice, who was watching, couldn't help but comment.
"Well...that could have gone better"
