While the other side comprised only two humans, one of whom was already incapacitated.
And yet, the party from the City Hall did not make any reckless moves. For some reason, their leader, the Templar Paladin, had forbidden them to.
They couldn't understand the reason.
Wasn't the other side far outnumbered? Their group could easily take care of the one Magus even though he was at the Mana Seed Rank.
To begin with, hadn't they come here to apprehend the person responsible for the chaos being wrought in the city?
Why had they suddenly stopped then?
The four adventurers from the City Hall stood guard by the entrance of the throne room. Some looked around warily at the destroyed chamber, while others eyed the unconscious Luca sprawled on the stairs leading to the throne.
As for Adam and the Templar Paladin, Gregor, they stood before the throne, talking with one another.
