JASON
We all change into our respective uniforms and come down from our room. The uniform was not so exotic. It was a basic trouser and blasiser of our crystals colours with black embroidery on white shirt. On the left chest of the shirt was the school badge and the crystal emblem on the blaiser.
The school badge was a bony hand holding a staff with a huge crystal on it. The name of the school was used to form a border round it. For my crystal emblem it was basically a whole war of elements. It was a torch in between a rock tornado surrounded by water with tiny molecules in the circle and ice shards as the stand. It was beautiful and I just loved it.
I meet up with the guys as they walk out of the building and we head straight for the admin building where I met the principal the previois day. Once we were in the building we were led by the woman at the desk to a new empty hallway again but this time there was only a small door to the right there. She bows before leaving us.
"What are we supposed to be doing here?" I ask agitated and a little impatient to get this over with.
"The orientation is to take place in this hall and we have to wait for them to call us in before we go." Tom replies and I nod in understanding. I take that time to check out everyone and I must say their uniforms were good also. Tom had on red but his crystal emblem was a rock in the middle of a twirling water.
SUAP's was on light blue with a snowflake for a crystal emblem. Isaac was on purple with a blown up dust shinning as his crystal emblem and I couldn't help but notice that the crystal emblem was a picture of the elements.
Cameron who was a tall guy of about 6'3, built like an oaf with blonde hair that had streaks of orange brown in them and light blue eyes and a very sturdy jaw with a few freckles here and there on his face was on red with a rock in the midst of a ball of fire as a crystal emblem. He was resting on the wall with a far-off face. If I didn't see him move I will have claimed he was asleep already.
Darla on the other hand was a little short standing around 5'6 but she had the confidence of someone huge. She had a very petite shape with her round face and pointed nose, dark orange hair and eyes of a loghter shade. She had clear skin and was in orange accentuating her hair and eyes with a bright flame as her crystal emblem.
The first girl to my right was a little shorter standing about 5'9 with clear skin and light brown hair and eyes. She was a little slender but blessed in the right places. She was very beautiful no doubt. She had on brown with a huge boulder as her crystal emblem.
The other girl beside her was a little shorter around 5'7 but she carried herself with so much self esteem that made her look inches taller than she was. She was in tall heels and multiple jewelleries that were placed in the perfect places. She also had a very nice body shape but she was a little slender with greyish-orange hair and eye-colour. She is SUAP's equally arrogant friend and I could smell the ego on her. She was in red with a ball of fire in the midst of a tornado as her crystal emblem.
The final person in the room was a girl also in the same red. She had a ball of fire in the midst of a swirling water as her crystal emblem and she had a beautiful blue hair and orange eyes. She was around 6'0 with a full body shape and beautiful eyelashes. She was well put together too but also had a nonchalant attitude to back it up.
We were all waiting in silence basically. Tom tries to start up some small talks but after a few tries and no response he gives up and continues chatting with Cameron. We were all lounging away on the wall when a boy and a girl walk in. The moment the girl walks into the hallway the tension in the environment increases and the energy in the environment becomes really unstable and volatile.
The girl was the issue affecting the environment. She struts towards me taking every step like she owned the whole world. The guy was shyly walking behind her and I couldn't but shake my head. What a p**sy. I look around and everyone except Cam were looking at her with so much disgust and anger. When she finally gets to us she smiles
"If it isn't the royal bitch herself. It thought you had given up on your pathetic life and ended it" She says and SUAP was visibly fuming but was trying so hard to not lash out. Tom walks up to her and speaks.
"Vanessa I won't tell you again not to ever refer to my sister in that manner. Don't you have any respect for the crown"he snaps and I see his eyes flicker red before going back to normal.
"I respect the crown but can't see it on any of you so suck it up and bow to the queen of the school. I don't expect too much from the dorky twin. You will always remain in your sisters shadows" she says and Tom was hurt by the words. His face didn't show any emotion but I could feel it. He was broken by the thought that he has no name for himself because of the power his sister possesses.
"Bitch you have gone too far. Has loneliness really turned you mad already?" SUAP asks with a smirk and Vanessa's demeanor turns to that of anger.
"Says the school whore. Are you still shameless?" Vanessa asks and I know there is a unspoken meaning to those words.
"The pot calling the kettle black. What is a lady that has a boyfriend and still sleeps with seniors and lecturers for private training and control" SUAP asks and everyone replies.
"Whore" Darla
"Hoe" Tom
"Pig" her friend
"Bitch" Cameron
"As you can see that is the main reason Jake wanted to date me instead of you but since I'm not like you I refused. I don't steal boyfriends from pigs like you" she walks to her and speaks in a low voice but loud enough for us all to hear "I don't want to end up with STD's like you. I have a kingdom to rule" She says and by now the girl was red as a fresh tomato.
Wow I never knew there really was a devil in this girl and I won't lie this little performance makes me like her more than I can admit. I look at her and she smirks
"Those are all lies you have put together to stop me from gaining the love of the manipulator. Do you still want to date your brother?" She says quickly and I was shocked. Yeah she was stunning but did she really believe I would just love her at first glance. She really is a very desperate lady.
"I can't even allow my worst enemy to date him but since you are so adamant you can always try your luck" SUAP says and I scoff. Always prickly.
"If that is the case" she says and faces me "my lord I apologize for all you have heard. Those are just rumours about me. The name is Vanessa Welick, at your service. How is the school and new environment treating you" she says in a very calm demeanor that you won't believe she was the person who just spoke recently.
"Vanessa right, in every rumour there is a semblance of truth so I won't like to take my chances at all. The name is Jason Dawson and everything has been fine. Now if you'll excuse me I have friends to commune with" I reply in a calm and soft voice but loud enough to send the message round the hallway. Everyone around snicker and burst into laughter. I know I shouldn't have done such a thing to someone I have not gotten to know but I just couldn't help her arrogant behaviour.
"You dont know what you are loosing now but very soon you will realise you have missed a golden opportunity. If you are relying on this bitchy princess and these paupers here you are really very stupid." She says and that pisses me off. I feel my magic prickles but I take deep breaths for control
"That's my sister and friends you are speaking about. You better watch your tongue around me young lady" I snap and my crystal lights up. The energy in the environment becomes very volatile and I'm sure everyone could feel it. Vanessa starts jitteing and I don't care at all.
"You dont have the right to speak to me in that manner. Even if you are powerful you know next to nothing about how to use it so I'll advise you relax" she says in a snarky tone with a shaky voice but still trying to maintain a semblance of confidence. I chuckle evilly and it scares everyone around.
"I'll watch what I say around me if I like living young girl" I say in a very deep voice. All the crystals in the room flickers to life and I didn't know what I was doing anymore. I stare hard at her and I could feel the water energy in the environment react. She falls on the ground screaming clearly in pain. I don't know exactly what I was doing to her but seeing her in so much pain was so satisfying.
I felt a hand touch me and I look to see SUAP face. It was filled with horror md fear and to be honest I didn't know why but it calmed me a little. I don't drop the magic and look round to check all my acquaintances and all of them were either staying far from me or looking at me with so much horror. I take a deep breath and drop the magic killing my crystals.
Vanessa stops screaming and just lays there taking heavy breaths. The guy from before runs up to her and starts shaking her.
"If she she dies you will be in big trouble" he says and I glare him. He scampers away from me and carries her before disappearing.
"Well I guess that was that" I say and turned to face everyone. They all had different expressions of their faces. Some looks of pity others anger, fear, surprise and intrigue "What is happening guys?" I ask and SUAP speaks.
"You almost killed her idiot" she snaps clearly furious
"I didn't kill her at least she is still breathing. That should count for something" I say jokingly and she glares me down.
"You really think this is funny right?" She says hitting me "I know you think you are powerful and could get away with anything but we don't just use our powers against people like that. In the school and round the world we have laws that stop us from doing so. I don't know why a demon like you had to be the manipulator" she says and I was a little hurt but then anger got the best of me.
"Says the person who almost killed her fellow mate with ice shards out of anger for disrespect. Before talking about someone else check yourself. You are also not above the law you know" I reply furious at how judgemental she got
"Wow you can't compare throwing ice shards at a fire elemental to using what demonic magic you just used against someone like her. You are just a power intoxicated asshole that wants to use his power to dominate everyone. Don't think I didn't know what you did to darla and I with your power" she says furious and now I get the source of the anger.
"Surprisingly I didn't ask for these demonic powers nor did I ask to be brought to this shitty world of power hungry people but I am trying to survive and persevere. I don't remember having a handbook on manipulators abilities like you all so don't expect me to learn control immediately like a god. Spare me your bullshit and go fuck yourself SUAP. You have been a b**ch since the day I met you and jealous of me for no reason whatsoever. Maybe if you stop judging and helping out it won't be like this." I snap at her and walk away.
"Jason wait, what of the orientation? What would we tell the principal?" Isaac asks and I stop to face him
"You can tell the principal and the whole school I'm not ready to show my demonic powers to the world" I reply and walk out of the hallway.
This world is fucked putting me with her. She is just a selfish, self-absorbed shitty ass person.
