If not for her hand supporting the table, she would nearly lose her balance. Quickly stepping forward to steady her, Valentine would probably feel dizzier and definitely more drunk later on.
"No need, I'll catch a cab and be home soon."
Valentine said as she headed for the door, but her foot got caught by the table leg, causing her to stagger forward two steps.
If not for Madison's quick hold on her, she would have fallen to the ground.
Sighing in relief, she smiled gratefully at Madison and explained, "I accidentally tripped on the table."
"I can't let you go home alone like this. Come, lie down in the guest room."
Regardless of her protest, Madison guided her into the guest room, as Valentine, in her drunken state, had no strength and was easily led inside.
The guest room was very spacious, with a three-seater sofa on one side, a large white bed in the middle, and a wardrobe against the opposite wall, all in a cozy, romantic Korean countryside style.
