"Half a glass or a full glass, it's still a drink. Just finish this glass; it's really good. You might find yourself wanting a second one after the first."
Madison Barton turned to Mark Reed, who was sipping from a goblet, and smiled as she asked, "How is it? Tastes good, right?"
"Yeah, it's good. Too sweet, though. Use less sugar next time."
Mark nodded.
It truly felt more like a beverage, without any hint of alcohol.
Madison took another sip, feeling proud that her homemade batch was better than store-bought, at least in terms of cleanliness.
Mark also put in a lot of effort washing those grapes, each one spotlessly clean, making the taste even more enjoyable.
"See, I wasn't lying to you, sweet and absolutely delicious. I like my drinks on the sweeter side."
With Madison's persuasion, Valentine Teller decided not to postpone any longer and took a sip.
Indeed, it was sweet with a rich texture, carrying a whiff of alcohol to the nose without being overpowering.
