Madison Barton said, "If your mom really sends your stuff to my house, then I won't go home and I'll give you my room."
"If you don't go home, where will you stay?"
Marvin Lennon furrowed his brow.
If she doesn't come back, what's the point of staying alone?
"I'll stay at a friend's place. Anyway, I'm not staying with you."
Madison Barton stood up and walked to the door, opened the mini fridge, and took out two bottles of mineral water. After crying for so long and shedding so many tears, it was time to replenish some water.
She handed one bottle to Marvin Lennon casually, opened hers, tilted her head back, and took a big gulp. Carelessly, it went down the wrong pipe.
"Cough... cough cough... cough..."
A series of violent coughs erupted from her throat, reddening her little face.
Lightly patting her back, Marvin Lennon asked with concern, "How are you, feeling better?"
"Cough cough... Better, much better... cough..."
