Bemused, the Elder held out his hand for Remi to hand him one of her experimental progress enhancing pills.
The Elder stared at it for a second, trying to analyze it, then gave up.
"The system tells me that it's a high-grade body forging pill. What's it supposed to do?"
{That sounds right. It's supposed to make you more durable. Improved health pool? More durable body? It depends on how your system interacts with it, I think.}
The Elder shrugged and popped it into his mouth, while Remi and Elder Socrate both took out their notepads.
Dana watched curiously as the two Alchemists settled into their element, carefully dissecting every change in the flow of energy through the Elder. At least, until he grunted in pain, and his body began to turn red.
"Is it supposed to do that?" One of the others asked.
{Probably. It's making his body more durable, so there should be some change.} Remi agreed.
"It looks like it hurts."
{You're not wrong. But it is working.}
