There were many teams left, and when Luna appeared holding a storm contained within a fragile orb of snow above her head, they all turned to look towards her. Nobody fought or escaped because the amount of aether coming off that thing was enough to alarm everyone!
Nero instinctively understood that she hadn't spent all this time hiding or waiting. Rather, this was the amount of time it had taken her to gather her innate ability in a stable form like that - ready to be deployed in a moment.
This perfectly made up for the flaw in her ability which was that it took some time for her storm to gather strength. However, considering that it nearly took her half an hour to prepare this, this was not the kind of trick which could be employed on short notice.
There were pros and cons to either, but right now she had clearly made the right move. If that storm was large enough… she could eliminate every other team in the vicinity right there and then.
