Silence filled the command room while everyone watched Nero walk away from Luna like it was no big deal. The frost on his body, and the stiffness in his limbs made it clear, though, that he had not been immune to the effects of Eternal Winter, or that this fight had not been easy.
That had not stopped him, though.
"I believe that is the second time he has survived the so-called strategic weapon you are trying to shape," one of the professors in the room said, not specifically looking at anyone. There were quite a few who felt the sting of his words, though.
"He's not immune to it, but his innate ability does grant him a great deal of resistance," said another professor as he picked up a clipboard and read through Nero's file.
"No actually, that's not true," countered Isabella. "His innate ability feeds on energies. That's what allows him to counter even Cursed energy, as well as face various other abilities head on. But Eternal Winter isn't exactly all energy now, is it?"
