Without moving my eyes from the beautiful scenery, I asked aloud. "...What could possibly make you manipulate the entire world to be happy, Amunet?"
There was no answer to my question, and I slowly turned around and looked toward the throne.
The woman stood close to it with a complicated look on her face.
She wasn't looking at me, her gaze was solely on the throne that was empty beside her.
Her expression told me that she was reminiscing about the past that was long forgotten.
Finally, she turned her gaze towards me and said silently. "...You won't understand."
I let out a soft, drained chuckle and walked towards her.
"You are right." I said calmly. "I won't understand the mind of a Goddess who screwed up her own people."
Were my words offensive? Perhaps it was because she was glaring at me now.
Though I pretended to be tone deaf as I kept on walking towards her until I was standing in front of her.
