Chapter 6 - Level 0

[ The floor will be reset ]

[ All the bodies will be burned by Dragon Breath ]

Before Shiddharth could even process the message, the space above the Reset Floor twisted violently. A massive portal tore open in the sky, its edges crackling with terrifying energy.

Then it came.

A dragon.

Its colossal body emerged slowly, scales glowing with molten patterns, eyes blazing like miniature suns. The pressure it released alone was enough to suffocate weaker beings.

Shiddharth didn't even have time to think.

The dragon opened its mouth.

Hell descended.

Dragon Breath poured out in a torrent of annihilating flames, swallowing the entire floor in an instant. The fire was not ordinary—it erased everything it touched. Corpses, bones, weapons… even the air itself screamed as it burned.

Shiddharth was engulfed completely.

There was no pain.

No scream.

No resistance.

Only nothingness.

One hour later…

[ Tower System has been updated ]

[ All bugs have been fixed ]

[ You will be compensated with 20 Gold ]

Across the Tower, hunters stared at the message in disbelief.

"Twenty gold…?"

For many of them, even earning a single gold coin could take weeks of bloodshed. Excitement spread rapidly.

Jun Si and Sui Ruhi entered the Tower immediately after the system update. They searched relentlessly, questioning everyone they could find. But every trail led to the same conclusion.

Many hunters had seen a dying man appear on the First Floor.

And then vanish.

"That's it?" Jun Si slammed his fist into the sofa beside him. "I thought… I thought there was still hope."

His anger shook the room.

At that moment, a woman stepped forward.

She wore high-grade armor, elegant yet intimidating. Her movements were fluid, confident. Golden plates hugged her form perfectly, highlighting her strength rather than hiding it. Her long hair flowed smoothly down her back, and her sharp eyes carried both beauty and authority.

"Guild Master," she said calmly. "It's time. The raid on the 67th Floor is ready."

Yenhu Chi.

Jun Si inhaled deeply, forcing his emotions down. "Prepare all participants. Call Sui as well."

"Yes, Guild Master," Yenhu replied, turning to leave.

Soon after, Jun Si stood before his assembled force—fifty elite hunters, all armed and resolute.

"Today," he shouted, his voice echoing, "we conquer the 67th Floor."

Cheers erupted.

"We are the hope of humanity," he continued. "We carry the weight of the world on our shoulders. Give it everything you have!"

With renewed morale, the army departed toward the upper floors.

Meanwhile…

On the Reset Floor.

A body materialized from thin air.

Shiddharth gasped, collapsing onto the ground.

"What the fuck was that?" he shouted, staring up at the sky.

The massive clock still hung above him.

Its hand now pointed directly at the word RESET.

Understanding struck him like lightning.

Every time the hand reaches RESET… the dragon comes.

"I have to get out of here," he muttered desperately. "Fast."

Before he could move—

Bodies began falling from the sky.

Monster corpses.

One after another, they crashed down onto him, crushing him beneath their weight.

Darkness swallowed him again.

[ You have died ]

[ You have been resurrected ]

"What the fuck?!" Shiddharth screamed, rage and panic finally erupting. "Can't I even breathe for a second?!"

Forcing himself to calm down, he climbed out from beneath the pile of corpses. The ground was littered with bodies—mostly monsters, with only a few hunters among them.

He searched desperately for a gate. A portal. Anything.

Nothing.

Then he remembered.

To move up a floor… you must defeat the boss.

His eyes slowly lifted toward the sky.

The dragon.

I need a weapon.

But there was nothing.

No swords. No spears. No tools.

After hours of searching, an insane idea took shape.

"I'll make one," he muttered.

Using the monsters.

He grabbed the body of an ogre and tried to tear into it with his bare hands.

Nothing.

It was like steel.

Grinding his teeth, he punched it.

Again.

And again.

His fist split open. Blood sprayed. Bones cracked.

But his wounds healed instantly.

"Just break…" he whispered through clenched teeth. "Just break…"

Hours passed.

Pain became meaningless.

Then—

[ Your Strength has increased by +1 ]

[ Your Stamina has increased by +2 ]

[ You have received stats before leveling up to Level 1 ]

[ New Achievement : First to Acquire Stats without Leveling Up ]

[ Received 100 Gold ]

Still, the flesh wouldn't tear.

But Shiddharth didn't stop.

He kept punching.

Again.

Again.

Again.

Time passed unnoticed.

Then—

The clock hand reached RESET.

The sky split open.

The dragon descended once more.

And in an instant, everything burned into nothingness.

Not even dust remained.
