Yohana's heart raced at his words, fear mingling with anger. "You think you can force me to erase my boundaries?" She glared at him. "Do not push me, Iskander."
Iskander took a step closer, his presence both intimidating and magnetic. "You underestimate the power I have, Yohana. You may consider yourself free, but the moment you entered my world, you became a part of it. Whether you like it or not, you have ties to me now."
Desperation clawed at her insides. She couldn't let him win. "I won't be your puppet," she retorted despite the turmoil inside her. "You may hold the title of King, but you don't own me."
"Really?" Iskander took Yohana's hand firmly in his. "Then let me claim you in front of everyone. I want the world to know you are mine, and if I catch anyone near you… I'll have their head and hang it on their pack's entrance and make a statement."
With that, he began to pull her back toward the banquet hall, ignoring her pleas to stop.
