An Ning was taken aback and almost spat out the bird's nest she'd just swallowed. "Mother-in-law wants to kick me out?"
She still couldn't believe it and asked again.
Aunt Wang, after carefully considering for a moment, spoke in words that would hurt An Ning the least. "Madam said you don't listen to her, which made her very angry. I think she's just acting on impulse. When you come back, speak to her properly and apologize sincerely. I think she might give up on the idea."
"I understand." An Ning quickly hung up the phone and then looked at Mo Ang with a particularly helpless expression. "I have to go home now; my mother-in-law is angry at me and wants me out of the Yu Family."
As she said this, An Ning's tone carried a lot of resentment. The implication being, look at your mom, this is how she's treating me.
Mo Ang said, "Let's go, I'll take you back."
"Won't the target be too obvious? Won't others suspect you?" An Ning asked worriedly.
