Prince Magnus and the barrier knight Abigail walk through the guild's portal to the island nation of Yiltama.
Prince Magnus-"Alright, we're here now"
Abigail-"Well-"
Prince Magnus-"He said he was visiting his grandparent's house. So take me to them"
Abigail-"Yes sir. I've only been to Theodore's grandparent's house a few times when he introduced me to them but I still remember where it is"
Prince Magnus-"Then like I said, show me the way"
Abigail-"Yes my lord"
Abigail and Prince Magnus began walking down a path out of the town square where the portal exited at. Occasionally they stop at signs with Abigail going down the paths that she remembered the names of. Eventually after an hour of walking the two of them arrive at a modest house.
Abigail-"This is the home of Theodore's grandparents. This is where he was coming to visit"
Prince Magnus-"Multiple people live here?"
Abigail-"...Yes my lord"
Prince Magnus-"It's so small, barely enough for one person let alone multiple"
Abigail(in her head)-"It's really not though"
Prince Magnus-"So that feline should be in there, I'll be sure he remembers to stick to the schedules I give him"
Abigail-"My lord, I'm certain he hasn't meant to delay you. And it's only been a few days over his allotted time"
Prince Magnus-"It would be one thing if he showed back up a few days late, but it's been a few days late and he still hasn't shown up. Who knows how much longer it would take him."
Abigail(in her head)-"I was really hoping spending so long on the Kaiju Archipelago with us would make him less entitled but t it clearly has not"
Prince Magnus-"Well no time to delay"
Prince Magnus walks up to the door and knocks.
Theodore's grandfather-"Coming"
After another minute the door opens with an old cat beastfolk man. The old man is short with grey hair with his cat ears and tail also being grey.
Theodore's grandfather-"Hello there young man, is that?"
Theodore's grandfather reaches a hand out to give Magnus a handshake but Magnus doesn't shake his hand so the old man slowly moves his hand back to his side.
Theodore's grandfather-"And you, oh Abigail, it's nice to see you again"
Abigail-"Hello Mr.Elrue excuse me, but is Theodore here?"
Mr. Elrue (Theodore's grandfather)-"Oh Theodore? He was here a few days ago, he spent the week here"
Prince Magnus-"Is he still here?"
Mr. Elrue-"I'm sorry no, he left a few days ago. Hasn't been back since. He'll be back in the Illumis kingdom now if you're looking for him"
Prince Magnus-"He's not there"
Mr. Elrue-"How do you know?"
Prince Magnus grits his teeth.
Prince Magnus-"Because we were just there"
Mr. Elrue-"Oh I see. Well I don't know where that boy's run off to"
Prince Magnus-"A waste of time"
Prince Magnus starts to turn around to leave but right as he does an old feline beastfolk woman walks to the door behind Mr. Elrue.
Ms. Elrue-"Who's there honey?"
Mr. Elrue-"It's Abigail, her and someone else are asking where Theodore ran off to"
Ms. Elrue-"He should be back in the Illumis kingdom now"
Mr. Elrue-"They said he's not there"
Ms. Elrue-"Hm, then maybe they should ask Judas where he is"
Abigail-"Judas?"
Ms. Elrue-"He's a neighbor of ours, a deer beastfolk. He's a real nice man"
Mr. Elrue-"That's right, Judas said he needed some help so he asked Theodore to come with him before Theodore left"
Prince Magnus-"And where is Judas?"
Ms. Elrue-"His house is just across the street over there"
Ms. Elrue points to a house. It's a small brown one story house.
Abigail-"Thank you ma'am"
Ms. Elrue-"It was nice seeing you again Abigail. Just let me know when you and Theodore get married"
Abigail(embarrassed)-"That's not- thank you ma'am"
Prince Magnus places his hand over his face and groans.
Prince Magnus-"Let's get this over with"
Abigail-"Thank you so much"
Abigail gives Theodore's grandparents a bow and walks off towards Judas's house.
Prince Magnus-"This better not be some big mystery. If we have to go to a different house after this one I'm done"
Abigail-"I'm sorry sir, I didn't realize it would be this complex"
Abigail(in her head)-"This is literally the second house we're going to, how impatient can he be"
Prince Magnus walks up to Judas's door and knocks on it. He waits a for seconds and there's no response. He knocks again and there's still no response.
Abigail-"It seems that he's not home-"
Prince Magnus then does a simple kick that launches the door forward.
Abigail-"My lord!"
Prince Magnus-"I'm not waiting any longer. It would have been faster if I just quickly flew over the entire Island looking for him over this stupid search"
Abigail(in her head)-"He's so immature"
Prince Magnus-"Judas! Whoever you are, have you seen an idiot named-"
Prince Magnus walks inside the small house. He sees a humanoid creature covered in eyes all over his head and hands. The creature is wearing a black suit and tie.
Prince Magnus-"What the heck are you?"
The doctor-"Oh, I didn't expect someone to knock the door down"
Abigail-"Stay back sir. Barrier skill: adaptive barrier"
Abigail creates a rainbow colored barrier around her and Prince Magnus.
Abigail(in her head)-"I developed this new barrier while on the Kaiju Archipelago. It develops a resistance to any attack that hits it"
Prince Magnus-"I don't need your protection Abigail"
The doctor-"Staying back? Protection? You're the one's who barged in"
Prince Magnus-"Do you know where-"
In an instant the barrier shatters and the doctor vanishes. Prince Magnus has a shocked expression and looks behind him. He sees The Doctor holding Abigail up by choking her.
Prince Magnus(in his head)-"I didn't see him move, I thought that only Atlas Armstrong was that fast. It's one thing being the second fastest, but-"
Prince Magnus-"You dare think you're faster than me!?"
Prince Magnus's aura grows and he dashes towards The Doctor at light speed. The eyes on the back of The Doctor's head focus on Magnus. Despite dashing towards The Doctor at light speed he's not able to approach him.
Prince Magnus-"What is this? I can't reach him"
The Doctor-"To think, this world if filled with lower lifeforms like you. And yet one of you was able to defeat our glorious demon lord"
Prince Magnus-"Lower!? I am a god!"
The Doctor-"The term of god is so vague nowadays. There's more to being a god than simple power. You need dominion, creation, a purpose for your existence. If a god dies, there should be unbelievable ripples across the vast universe. But if you die, nothing would change. The world would keep on spinning, the weather would keep going through it's cycles. It would be like you were never vecen born"
Prince Magnus continues trying to attack The Doctor but no matter how hard he tries he can't reach him. Abigail falls unconscious so the Doctor drops her on the ground.
The Doctor-"The only one on this planet that's close to becoming a god, is me"
The Doctor performs a simple swipe to the side with his finger. Prince Magnus's aura is dispelled and burn marks appear across his skin. The burns deepen causing blood to spill out as he falls to the ground, Prince Magnus then starts to cough up blood.
