Gu Mingyue left with the clothes, heading to the washing area on the outer balcony to hand wash them. After drying his hair, Gu Minglu followed the light towards the outer balcony. Gu Mingyue was bent over, washing his underwear. Gu Minglu couldn't quite describe how he felt as he watched Gu Mingyue washing so earnestly... In truth, he'd never allowed anyone to touch such private things, not even the housekeeper. Yet now, a warm feeling washed over him.
Gu Mingyue seemed to sense someone behind her and turned around, catching Gu Minglu's gaze resting on her hands holding his underwear.
Her face flushed. Even her ears turned red. She hadn't noticed Gu Minglu's underwear when she first grabbed the clothes, but since everything was piled here, she couldn't possibly leave just his underwear unwashed. She hesitated for half a second, then picked it up and started to clean it.
