The grand tournament in the capital of Central Domain was a spectacle like no other. The entire city seemed to pulse with barely contained excitement as warriors from across the realm converged on the arena.
Each day leading up to the tournament, the streets were alive with anticipation. Merchants set up elaborate stalls selling weapons, armor, and trinkets bearing the crests of famous fighters. Bards sang songs of heroic deeds in every tavern and corner. The scent of roasted meats and spiced wines filled the air, creating an atmosphere of celebration that infected everyone.
It was a festival of martial prowess and honor, and everyone wanted to be part of it.
Father's decision to enter us both into the tournament was met with different reactions. Raya was thrilled, her eyes sparkling with the promise of glory and another chance to prove herself. I, on the other hand, felt a knot of anxiety tightening in my chest.
