Strax left the laboratory accompanied by Frieren, who carried a small box containing several analytical instruments and the records obtained during the examinations. Behind them, the other women began dispersing, although some still seemed quite interested in the situation.
Monica was among the first to leave.
"If that thing isn't threatening to destroy Asgard, don't call me again. I still have a vacation to enjoy," Monica complained as she walked through the doorway.
Strax raised an eyebrow.
"You know you can just keep resting, right?" Strax remarked, watching the administrator.
"I WAS resting until someone announced that you were losing an arm!" Monica replied, shooting Frieren a particularly irritated look.
The researcher averted her eyes.
"Technically, he did lose one," Frieren replied, putting away one of the instruments.
Monica stopped.
Looked at her.
Then at Strax.
"I hate you both," Monica declared before disappearing down the corridor.
Strax laughed.
