The twin moon hanged up the above the clouds, specks of lunar light illuminates the ground where a group of people walking here and there like ants in the dirt.
Noire didn't say another word nor Xian. Even though Xian didn't know what it meant to have a massive and slow core, by her small knowledge of magic and transcendence, it was something bad.
Noire looked at Xian, the latter wore a normal look and immediately changed the subject.
"Uh... You like studying?" Xian scratches her head at the back. "I kinda like to know more about magic even though I'm transcendent."
Especially right now I can use magic, it is a pity that she can't, atleast for now... Learning magic right now is my priority other than getting money.*
"Yeah... I I'll teach you sometimes..." Noire turned around and pressed her hand against the railing of the staircase made out of dark wood. "Let's go, I think the dinner's ready."
With that, Noire went down the stairs onto the kitchen without Xian following her. The latter, stood there as seems to focus.
Downstairs, at the door. The click of the metal doorknob echoed through the silent hallway, Larry opened the door and went inside as he closed and lock the door again.
The hallway, consisted of a few doors at each side with small light bulb at the ceiling, illuminating the dark hallway. Larry was about to wore off his armor when the door at his back opened again, appear there is a woman in 30s.
She had a blonded hair cascading until her waist, knotted into ponytail that press againts her shoulder. She wore a simple black and white dress meant for a maid. A ribbon hang above her plump breast.
Upon seing her master, she bowed down with both hands on a basket of goods and greeted:
"Annie greets her master."
"Annie, right on time, help me undo this." Larry asked, and Annie immediately helped her master after locking the door and bringing down the basket on the ground.
Xian happened to see this and discovered Annie. She approach her father and greeted him.
"Welcome back, father."
Upon seing this, Annie's eyes has a look of shock. To her front is the very same person she serves at the past.
"Master... Xen?" She said in confusion.
Larry, who already removed his heavy armor, revealing a tight black clothes that also revealed his muscles, stood up and introduce Xian to Annie.
"Annie, that is Xen's daughter... Our daughter, Xian."
"Xian..." A glimpse of memory appeared in Annie's mind, an image of a child with black hear being held by Xen.
"Where's master Xen then? Is she here too?" She asked, hurriedly.
Upon hearing the question, Xian looked down, silent occupied her mouth. Larry patted the maid's shoulder and explained what happened.
By now, Xian went to the living room, sat there silent. Annie absorbed the information, her mind went blank from shock. She was silent for a while, but held her emotions and just nodded in response.
"Annie will bring the food in the storage." She went to the kitchen unhurriedly while also greeting her two master there with natural face. It was clear that she was holding the information well as she managed to help the master prepare the food on the table without problems.
"Xian." Larry called out, the child on the couch turned to him as he sat down the opposite sofa. "That's Annie, your mother's past maid. She and I, along with your mother attended the academy as transcendence."
"She was calm... Able to hold the death of my mother like this, she has a strong heart." Xian said while looking down the table, fidgeting with her fingers.
"Sigh, let's eat now." Larry stood up and went to the table on the kitchen.

After the dinner, Xian was directly offered to stay here by Natalia, giving Xian a boost of gratefulness towards the latter. During the dinner, the family just talked about Xian's settlement at the house.
She was bombarded with several questions from either Natalia or Annie. Larry and Noire only listed from the sidelines while enjoying their meals.
At the bathroom, Xian sat at the porcelain like bathtub, there is no water there but Xian sat still while caressing her bracelet.
After some time, she appeared at the familiar house infront of her. It was foggy and dark, but in the house, there is a small illumination coming from the living room.
Xian opened the door and went there, meeting her emotionless mother, sat in the couch, unmoving while staring at the fireplace Xian conjured a fire earlier this afternoon.
She sat besides her mother, hugging the latter's arms as she leaned sideways. There is warmth coming from Xen. Xian still didn't know how the spatial space was working for a life to appear here, as well as the very scenery of the house she was familiar too.
Xian stared at the empty wrist, and focused her mind into it while drawing transcending energy. In the next seconds, her vision became blurry and transformed into a view of the bathroom she was ay earlier. There, Xian is nowhere to be seen, at the bathtub, only a shining silver bracelet placed there unmoving.
During the journey in the forest, she experimented various ways to access the bracelet and the only thing she discovered is this function.
With this, it was clear that Xian, during the ravings, was teleported inside the bracelet with her belongings such as weapons and clothes.
"With this, I'm able to hide anytime I wish." Xian smirked at herself. She also discovered that going inside the bracelet resets her mood and emotions but going back, it will come again, the previous emotions and mood that was reseted.
Xian didn't spent more time inside, after saying goodbye to her mother, she went outside again.
Opening the door, Xian was surprised to see Annie infront of her. The latter was now dressed into a loosely pair of white pajamas while holding a piece of apple.
"Annie greets her master a goodnight." She bowed at Xian with both hands holding the loosely pants as if it were a skirt.
"Y-yeah... Goodnight too, Annie." Xian returned the greetings and waites for Annie to stood up straight again.
"Master, the death of master Xen has strucked my heart hard. She was my master since she defeated me in a battle 18 years ago. Her death, I hope you can forget well."
"Revenge on the assailant will only bring you dangers, please..." Annie bent down again her body. "Please, don't seek revenge for now."
How did she know I was going for revenge?... But, without revenge in my heart, my transcending power will dimish, I must keep it until I avenge my mother!*
"I don't also want revenge right now as I have no enough power, but revenge will never go away from myself..." Xian said as she walked passed Annie.
"And, thank you for serving my mother... Until now even though you serve another master."
With that, Xian nodded at Annie and went upstairs. Entering the guest room, now called her room. Xian immediately slomped to the red sheeted bed. The softness immediately touched Xian's body.
I should look for Aunt Rei tomorrow after registering in the citizenship card and the global guild for my main job. Sigh, I'm just a kid and right now, I'm problemating my expenses for the future.*
In any case, if father didn't approve of my job, I would still keep it with a reason for saving money while also training my body... Yeah, he already know that I'm 1st stage transcendence and stronger than a normal human by tenfold.
My progression for gathering materials and supplements for the elixirs and potion is going well while I was at the forest, with a big city, I'm expecting to see various shop that sells them... Though, currently, I only have 3 gold, 75 silvers and some tens of coppers.
With a adventurer as my job, the payment might varies but without a problem for rent nor food, I can save lots of money before the 2nd month and the entrance exam for the academy.

The lay still Xian went furious as she crazily rolled side to side from the bed, making a mess to the neatly fold bed sheet.
