The wind blows the leaf away, cacophony of people mixes with the howling windy morning in Neap. The sun was rising as the clouds dances, and Xian is in her room, asleep while her saliva slowly drooled down.
During the night, she didn't slept instantly but instead, she recalled everything that happened so far after leaving the forest and also planning her future plans.
Since the sun rise earlier, the 2nd bell of the church of the sun loudly echoed though the entire city of neap, meaning it was already the true start of the day.
Xian got up, saliva still drooled down her mouth, some even dried out the entire night.
She focused her hearing in the vicinity. Outside was a loud people either their stomping of the voice coming from their mouth. Inside the house, Xian can only hear one normal breath, occasionally hearing continues stomping and tapping with fingers.
Seeing her sister yesterday acting strange in the study room, Xian instantly knew Noire was the only people inside the house except her.
After neatly cleaning the red sheeted bed and using wind magic to conjure a small gust to sway all dust in the room, Xian closed the window infront of the desk. The room was slightly shrouded in shadows as only the illumination from the window outside provide lighting there.
Xian went down, not controlling the steps she made to intentionally alert Noire that she was already awake and descending down the stairs. Entering the bathroom just besides the stairs, Xian washed her face and removed her outer clothes, only leaving her underwear intact.
Shoot, I forgot my towel and changing clothes.
Knowing the sounds Noire made in the study room, Xian used her instanous speed to blurred herself before appearing at her room. This was used by her multiple times, it uses her transcending speed of inhuman physical body to instantly dash away from one point to another, this was greatly reinforced after transcending to 2nd stage but she felt it will never go up again in the current stage. She call this instanous blink.
After grabbing a white cotton towel as well as a pair of clothes, Xian made her way to the bathroom again using the Instanous Blink.
Xian didn't used the bathtub but only used the shower to clean her body while also usinf a soft soap to brush. While doing all of that, Xian also multitasked and washed the pair of clothes she wore earlier.
I can't just leave my used clothes here and expect it to be clean by someone or Annie, can't be a burden to a house I don't own... It was not the same as the past where mother will often wash me and my clothes...
After drying her body using the white cotton towel, Xian made her way to the room again unhurriedly this time and used a wind magic to conjure a small spinning air to remove the water from the clothes she wore, spinning them in the air removers some of the water from it, making it slightly wet but will not drop a droplets again.
After that, she hanged the pair of clothes as well as the underwear in a makeshift hanging rod in the room.
It's not like that someone will barge in and will saw hanging underwear at the ceiling, right?
Sigh, finally done... I'm quite hungry but too shy to ask for food downstairs, let's see if there is some leftovers, though I can't smell none. But it wouldn't be a waste to check.
Xian made her way downstairs. As she decende the stairs, the click of the door echoed through the hallway and Annie came back with a paper full of long breads.
After seeing Xian in the hallway, she slightly bowed to the girl before locking the door again.
"Annie greets her young master a good morning."
Ugh, I'm not still used to her using a third person view to talk. And ugh, I can't ask why as it will be embarrassing for me to ask!
"Good morning Annie, what's that?" Xian tilted her head, and right now, she smell something fresh in her hand.
"This is wheat bread master, please sit at the living room and Annie will serve you with breakfast." With that, she made her way towards the kitchen and neatly stored the breads in the compartment just above the table on the ceiling.
Xian didn't sat at the living room for now, she made her way towards the study room and saw Noire flipping pages and writing in a peace of yellow paper.
"Good morning, Noire." Xian finally said after contemplating to whether greet her or not since she was studying quietly.
Noire turned her head around and saw Xian, wearing a pair of same dark brown colored shirt and pants, she looks more a boy than a girl for not the fact that her dark hair is cascading until her breast, not tied as it was left to naturally dry.
"Good morning Xian, mother and father ordered me to guide you and get a citizen card pass in the city center this early morning." Noire said while not looking at Xian but was scribbling in the yellow paper. She purposely said 'ordered' than 'asked' as she thought it was forced.
I can see and feel your frustrations my half sister.* Xian nodded excitedly as she was about to explore a new town but also downful because of Noire's attitude.
"Okay, thanks... Uhh, let's have a breakfast."
"I already ate earlier, the breakfast ran out thus Annie bought another batch while you're sleeping." Noire still didn't turned to Xian again as she eithee flipped or scribbled in the table.
Same for my parents, I don't want to be so close to her. We human had an abstract thing called feelings, and I can't fathom the fact that we human will also feel something if a cherished thing was stolen for us... The same story that she experienced.
Xian can't help it, she can only do her own and be better tomorrow.
For now, let's go on the flow of things and not to be rushed. I can and will befriend her no matter what!
With that, Xian became excited once more. Her mood was at its peak after sleeping, she once noticed this and thought that it was because of the artifact she was wearing as she didn't experienced it in the past with her mother.
She went to the living room and Annie just finished preparing a breakfast and served it to the young master.
The plate consisted of a five slices of dark brown crispy bread, a bacon made out of pork, and a piece of a egg. Coupled this with a cup of hot chocolate, Xian almost drooled over the sight and smell.
"Is... Is it okay for me to eat all of this?" Xian asked as she was just arrived here and now expending an atleast half silver worth of food that wasn't her's.
"Master Natalia directly instructed Annie to give young master a double the size of food as you are also a transcendence." Natalia answered.
Xian stared at the food again, drooled over because of the smell and sight, gulped her saliva and thought.

With that, she started eating.

"That's all, Viscountess." Larry stood still, both hands on a giant shield infront of him that half of his size. The shield was like the armor, it was silver with engraving similar to the banner of Neap.
"A similar case happened and was reported to me too just earlier this night. And another similar case was reported to the Viscount, my husband." Infront of Larry, a woman replied, wearing a beautiful dress coupled with the beautiful skin and face, it was clearly says she was very alluring, but Larry was petrified as a stone, not daring to betray her wife.
The Viscountess sighed and pressed her hand against her chin in thoughtful way. Just like the Queen and King, the female aristocrat are in charged of internal affairs while the male side is the opposite having in charge of external affairs.
"Sigh, I'll report this to the Viscount, for now, strengthen the walls inspection and do not let someone in easily. Your daughter, do you really vouch for her?"
"With all my life on the line, I fully trust my daughter for her report and presence." Larry bowed, slightly near the silver shield.
"Sigh, can't help it, I trust you like my husband but please, don't disappoint us. For now, dismissed." The Viscountess waved her hand and Larry bowed again and left the room which only contains a small desk at the far center and the Viscountess chair.
At the window at her back, the Viscountess stared at the people at the center below. Some of them are students of the academy, some are adventurer, some are normal citizens, and some children playing around.
"Imperfect Demons... The ancient monsters that fought with the Demon Lord back the age of the heroes... Atlast, they came back just like the first ancestral queen predicted."
"And Xian... Black..."
