Getting what?!
I thought as I looked at the scene in front of me, this fighting is all about marriage, unbelievable.
I looked at chrome who won against with magma before looking at senku that was now beside me, looking with disappointment and..... jealousy? not that is impossible he's.... nevermind.
I then glare at senku which he flinches, and I asked.
"Why are you also here competing, I know you're smart but you're already—"
"It's for the position"
"The position?"
He nodded and explained that if he married the kohaku sister, he'll be able to get the higher position as a husband and the leader of the village. I sighed in relief after hearing this before punching his shoulder.
"Ow, what was that for?"
"For letting me leave and this" I crossed my arms as I continue to watch the battle.
Senku just sighed and heads to the center to win. Which he did. At the end he won the position as the new leader of the Ishigami village. I wasn't that surprised.
Flashback...
"The village is 1000 percent my dad created along with his peers"
"His peers, you mean the outher astronauts?" I asked for confirmation, and he nodded. He reasons that it's because they were the only people left that weren't petrified.
Thinking about it now, they're probably uhm... nevermind, this is just science fact that they are all related, no matter what you do.
End of flashback...
I watched him being celebrated with the other villagers but when he got his hands of the wine, he decided to quickly get divorced.
What? I thought, it caught me off guard as the science crew carry some of the barrel of wine including him and called me out.
"Y/n let's go!" He shouted and I quickly ran and followed them behind as I shouted to the village people. "Apologies everyone, it's for science"
I quickly run and catch up to everyone as we all crossed the bridge and to our science camp.

"What is that?"
Kohaku asked as she points out the water wheel made of bamboo.
"It's called a water wheel, it spins and generates power as water pass by, great work old man"
The old man felt proud at the compliment.
Meanwhile I head back to the lab to see chrome unconscious.
I picked up some bamboo sticks, wrapped it with cloth and tied it to the bamboo then dip some ammonia, which is pee and stuffed to his nose.
Which he screamed at the smell, ammonia stinks by the way.
"Awake now chrome?"
"Yes, thanks"
I smiled as I welcomed him.
"By the way, we need some rocks that can burn before we put the sulfa drug"
"Oh I have that in my—"
The basket empty. Chrome was shocked that it was all gone. i explained that we already used it for the iron furnace functioning.
Senku stepped in and said "not to worry"
I watched senku gathering some burnt small coal from the furnace and realized.
"Oh right, you can gather some coal, it isn't much but it's useful"
"So how many more steps do we need?"
Chrome asked and senku replied with 25, making chrome again shocked.
We all got to work through those 25 steps and finally made the sulfa drugs or antibiotic has been completed.
The only thing left to do is to see the side effects once she took the sulfa drugs.

Bonus
Walking back to camp with Mr gen, we found corpse of senku and chrome on the floor.
Gen shrieked and I sighed and approached senku and asked.
"So what happened here?"
At that question, senku started explaining along with questions from Mr gen and I just proceed to help chrome wake up with ammonia, which was fun.

Bonus 2
One night as I sat up the materials room, senku approached and sat beside me.
"What's up?"
He then proceed me to hand a pair of glasses, I was stunned and looked at him in disbelief. All he could say to me while looking away was.
"Try it on"
I hesitated before trying it on, I can see clearly now. Sure I can see without glasses but having glasses is much better.
I smiled and looked at senku.
"Thank you senku"
"Anytime"
