Alex shifted uncomfortably, his body looking for a way to leave. It was clear he really felt like Sylas would kill him. But that was when Sylas said something unexpected, something he never thought that he'd ever hear from Sylas.
"I won't kill you."
There was a calmness in Sylas' tone, almost like he was trying to… soothe him, and yet failing miserably.
Alex didn't even know what to do with this new sensory information. It was like everything he had known about the world had become a microcosm of insanity spinning in mind, swirling in various colors, and then coming out the wrong hole in a diarrhea of absolute nonsense.
He reached a hand forward and touched Sylas' forehead. Even the fact he succeeded in that left him in shock.
"Are you sure that you're Sylas Grimblade…? Who are you? You know, you've already killed me once, Legacy. There's no need to fuck with me just to end up screwing me over again, right? Just kill me and get it over with."
