Chapter 4596: The Cause and Effect
In the Primal Chaos Stone's words, Lin Moyu had become the calamity bound. He'd seen many such figures and knew what events awaited them after this ordeal. When Lin Moyu finished his current death trial, the Stone planned to tell him everything, convinced Lin Moyu could deal with it.
Lin Moyu's aura kept growing stronger as he survived under the pressure of the Life Restricted Zone.
He adjusted further to the Zone's power; every Primordial Vortex contained a slightly different version of that destructive energy.
It was like climbing steps now Lin Moyu stood on the second one.
Nobody knew how many more steps to reach the summit.
This time, no breakthrough was needed just constant strengthening.
He kept being reborn without stopping.
Lin Moyu began to master his will, sensing and probing the changes in his body and soul.
After dying over ten thousand times, Lin Moyu could finally communicate with soul thought.
He sighed, sounding both bored and faintly excited.
The Primal Chaos Stone heard this and asked, "Master, how do you feel?"
During a rebirth's gap, Lin Moyu replied, "Not bad. If this keeps up, in another ten thousand deaths or so, I'll fully adjust and need to find a new vortex."
The Stone said, "I'll search for you."
The first vortex was ten meters across, the second a hundred; this time, the Stone looked for a thousand meter wide vortex a new step for Lin Moyu.
The Sovereign realm is broad; there's a huge gap between entry level and peak.
Lin Moyu was still far from the peak he'd need more vortices and more rounds of death.
He felt something odd: the Primal Chaos Stone's attitude had subtly changed, growing noticeably better.
He sensed something must have happened to the Stone to prompt this shift an ancient, proud being doesn't change easily.
As Lin Moyu adapted to the new vortex, his survival time lengthened.
When he passed the one second mark, the Life Restricted Zone lost effect.
The rebirth process had a rule: each death cycle couldn't exceed one second. Over one second, rebirth would be interrupted and not count as continuous.
After twenty thousand deaths, Lin Moyu could endure in the Zone's mist for more than a second.
Rebirths were interrupted, but now he could actively heal using the power of life force, extending his survival.
He could also shield himself with World Burning Fire to last even longer.
As long as he willed it, he wouldn't die here.
He'd adapted to that tier's damage, though he knew better than to think he could enter the actual Life Restricted Zone unscathed.
The power drawn by the vortex was but a trivial trace; that small trace became mist inside the vortex.
If he tried entering the Life Restricted Zone for real, he'd die instantly.
Lin Moyu measured his power carefully. After reaching Sovereign level, its scale was multiplied many times.
Now he could truly clash with Supremes, and even some veteran ones might not defeat him.
As for his official realm, it was still perfected Chaos.
He realized how much of an anomaly he'd become a perfected chaos cultivator able to match Supremes in battle.
Nobody had ever done that before.
Leaving the vortex and collecting his formation, he asked, "Did I reach the right vortex?"
But this wasn't his limit he could look for even stronger ones to grow further.
Having made it this far, he didn't plan to stop.
The Stone said, "There are no suitable vortices left here; you need a new place."
Lin Moyu nodded and flew out past the vortex cluster.
There were many vortex clusters, each full of Primordial Vortices. If one wasn't right, just switch to another.
With enhanced power, he didn't need caution he soared boldly, ignoring all the forces along the way.
He was headed for another vortex cluster when suddenly the Primal Chaos Stone said, "Master, I've discovered something."
His tone was serious; Lin Moyu grinned, "Go on what's the big deal?"
The Stone said, "When you were dying just now, I noticed the pace of the calamity speeding up."
Lin Moyu raised an eyebrow "Is it related to me?"
"Yes," replied the Stone. "After I noticed, I traced the world's timeline to study the start of the calamity and found a problem."
"This calamity hit only 30 billion years after the last one."
Thirty billion years felt long, even for a Supreme but in the cosmic scheme, it was fairly brief.
Lin Moyu said, "You told me the interval is usually at least 100 billion years, sometimes up to 500 billion. Is 30 billion too short?"
"Definitely too short," the Stone confirmed, "the shortest I'd ever seen was over 90 billion. Thirty is highly abnormal."
He continued, "I looked deeper and found that the trigger point for this cycle was when you self destructed last time."
Lin Moyu stopped in his tracks. "Are you saying the calamity erupted when I was dying in the Western Pure Land?"
"Exactly. I'm not sure what happened to you, but the timing is unmistakable."
Lin Moyu murmured, "I saw a seven colored key and opened a gate; Primordial energy rushed in, and my storage space evolved into its own independent world."
The Stone was puzzled: "Seven colored key, gate, storage can you elaborate?"
Lin Moyu explained everything, holding nothing back.
Given this was about a cosmic calamity, he knew the stakes a single secret could ruin everything.
The Stone's attitude showed how vital this was.
After hearing the story, the Stone fell deep in thought; Lin Moyu left him to ponder.
Drawing on endless years of observation, the Stone combined Lin Moyu's experiences and finally gave an answer.
"My guess: your storage space is a world that failed to evolve."
"No need to worry these worlds are common, like domain seeds. When they fail at evolution, they can end up as all sorts of forms, including storage spaces."
"You said everyone has storage spaces maybe they look the same, but inside, yours is unique."
"When your body and soul reached a high enough level, you activated that dormant world; it started evolving properly. As you were in this world at the time, it triggered an imbalance causing the calamity to erupt early."
"To maintain balance, the world's rules designated you as the calamity bound expecting you to die in the disaster."
