Cheng Xiao walked into the room soon after Xu Kai left her downstairs, she heard the shower running a blush creeped up on her face when she realized what he had said before leaving her alone.
'Did I really do that?' She thought to herself.
Cheng Xiao went to the sofa and started working on another design, the one she had gotten from the client, she had finished it and it was in production. When she had shown her client the design, he had loved the design so much that he could not wait for it to be completed.
Xu Kai came out of the shower and found her on the couch and joined her.
"What are you doing?" He asked sitting next to her.
"Drawing a sketch." She said showing him the rough draft.
"Wow, this is..." Xu Kai was at lost for words when he saw it.
"You never showed the one the client ordered." Xu Kai said.
"Is it?" Cheng Xiao surprised.
"Mm!" Xu Kai hummed.
"Let me look for it." Cheng Xiao said and brought out her iPad.
She scrolled until she landed on the necklace piece. She had designed a necklace and earing to go with it and also had made a ring that matched. The ring she created was similar to the one the client's wife had worn on her wedding day. The wife had lost the ring and could never get one that was similar to it.
"This ring was not included, was it?" Xu Kai asked.
"No, the client had said that his wife once had an accident and lost her original wedding ring. The ring was a symbol of their love and had been sad ever since. He said they had tried to look for one similar or get another one, but the guy who had made the ring died and there was no other way." Cheng Xiao replied.
"Does he know about this ring?" Xu Kai asked.
"No, this will be a surprise to them both." Cheng Xiao replied.
"You are really passionate towards your work." Xu Kai said impressed.
Cheng Xiao nodded, no designer would want to imitate the work of another person, but Cheng Xiao upon hearing the story of how he wanted to cheer up his wife, she couldn't help but want to recreate the ring.
