In the morning the same thing happened, and Cheng Xiao woke up and ran to the toilet to vomit again, Xu Kai rushed after her.
"This is the second time; I think we should go the doctor." Xu Kai said.
"No, I think it is indigestion. I did eat a lot yesterday." Cheng Xiao said with a weak laugh.
"Are you sure?" Xu Kai asked.
"Yes!" Cheng Xiao said with a nod.
Soon they prepared for work and left together this time when they entered the office there was no disdain on people's face nor the mockery in their eyes. Cheng Xiao was Xu Kai's wife and unless they wanted a death wish, they would not easily spread rumors.
As they both settled into their own offices, a woman was called into the CEO's room. She stood in front of Xu Kai and stared at her feet.
"Do you know why you are here?" Xu Kai asked.
"No, sir!" She replied and looked up.
"Funny thing how the post URL link was connected to your house." Xu Kai said coldly.
"Sir, it wasn't me." She tried to defend herself.
"Who gave you the right to post that?" Xu Kai asked.
"But it is the truth she seduced you. Gu Xixi was ten times better than her; she has loved you since childhood and all you did to repay her was to send her abroad." The woman argued.
"I don't recall my life being something you could decide on, what goes on in my life has nothing to do with you. You are fire and since you love Gu Xixi so much, you can join her on the blacklist." Xu Kai said and called Chen Si to kick her out.
"Did you hear?" Someone asked.
"Hear what?" The person asked back.
"They found the one that posted that post and she was fired." Person 1 said.
"Fired?" Person 2 asked.
"Yes, but that is not all." Person 1 said.
"What else?" Person 3 asked and person one told them to come a bit closer.
"She has been blacklisted." Person 1 spoke.
"It serves her right. Do you know how grateful I am that I never responded to the post. I heard that everyone that commented on were fired as well, the CEO said the company does not need people who have time to be idle and be posting posts and damaging the company's image." Person 2 said.
"Cheng Xiao is the CEO's wife and it is only natural that the CEO would protect his wife." Person 3 said and they were dismissed when they saw Cheng Xiao coming.
Soon it was time for lunch, Cheng Xiao and the girls decided to eat at the cafeteria. They all fetched their foods and sat their table. They ate and chatted, Cheng Xiao stood up wanting to take the empty tray. They only took few steps and Cheng Xiao felt everything going dark and fainted.
Shen Mu and Su Li rushed her Shen Mu tried to wake Cheng Xiao up by shaking her but nothing.
"Call him!" Su Li instructed.
Shen Mu rushed and took her phone and called Xu Kai. Xu Kai rushed upon receiving the call, the doors of the cafeteria was swung open, and Xu Kai ran called out to Cheng Xiao but there was no response.
"I am taking her to the hospital." Xu Kai said and lifted her up.
Xu Kai rushed to his car and placed Cheng Xiao in the back.
"We are coming too." Su Li said.
"Get in!" Xu Kai said.
Shen Mu sat in the back and placed Cheng Xiao's head on her lap; Su Li sat in the passenger seat. They arrived at the hospital and there was a stretcher waiting outside already.
"Doctor what is wrong with my wife." Xu Kai asked when the doctor stepped in.
"Congratulations Mr. Xu your wife is one month pregnant." The doctor said.
