Chapter 81: Forced Entrance!
An hour later*
I stare at the Cards of Mother and Moon hovering before me, their surfaces projecting the image of a prominent bulge surging upward and forming a mountain thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of meters high. The mountain wriggled like something alive, resembling both a bird's nest and a womb, as though it were nurturing some impossible existence within itself.
This is the 9th and final Sefirot to be collected. With it, I now possess all 9 Sefirot, completing what should have been impossible—right before I leave this cursed world, a chaotic mixture of countless works and broken realities.
"We're ready to leave, Master." Alucard called out to me, carrying a massive coffin on her back—one nearly twice her size.
"So, where are you planning on taking us, Chikao?" Momoyo asked, tilting her head while sitting on my shoulders, her thighs pressing against the sides of my head as she poked the top of my head. "I did some reading online about traveling to other worlds, but not much was explained about how it actually works—other than getting run over by a truck or dying while saving someone, then starting a new life after death."
"Well, I was planning on taking us to a parallel version of Japan's Sengoku period." I explained. "But I feel like even you would get bored extremely quickly there. There wouldn't be many strong foes for you to fight, and waiting for the next worthwhile opponent to appear would take far too long."
As I said that, I thought about how this world somehow even had a connection to Inuyasha through that ancient magical well.
"Or I could bring us to Alucard's reality instead, where we can meet up with her male counterpart—the one who is supposed to exist in this reality of ours. I won't go into too much detail, but that parallel reality isn't nearly as much of a mess as the one we're in."
I sweatdropped slightly, thinking about how the female Alucard's reality was literally just Hellsing—not a chaotic mixture of different series, but a single altered timeline where Alucard had been born female, and this Integra was raised as a spoiled princess.
"Rejected." Momoyo said, crossing her arms in front of her with a firm frown on her face. Then her expression shifted, a bit of excitement sparking in her eyes as she wrapped her legs more securely around my neck. "Is it possible for you to take us to a fictional world? I bet we could find plenty of powerful opponents there!"
I became speechless for a moment, nearly spilling the deepest secret I had buried inside me—that we were already in a fictional world. Not just any fictional world, either, but a messed-up one where a bunch of different works had been blended together into one chaotic reality.
"Sure." I said to Momoyo. "But first, have you packed everything you want to take? Because we won't be coming back to this world for a long time."
And by that, I meant I would most likely only return after reaching Sequence 0 in one of the Pathways: Wheel of Fortune, Eternal Aeon, Eternal Edict, or even the Tail-Devourer Pathway. So I could finally deal with the Fates lurking behind this world.
If I wanted to go far beyond overkill, then becoming the Above the Sequence: Key of Light would be more than enough to crush whatever remained of their influence.
"Yup. Got everything." Momoyo said, pointing at the large white gym duffel bag nearby. "It has plenty of clothes in case I need to change outfits if mine get too ruined to use. I'm sure wherever you're taking us will have plenty of food for us to eat, so I won't bother storing any."
"Then get ready. We're going to leave soon." I said to Momoyo and Alucard as the Cards of Mother and Moon disappeared from my view. "I just need to prepare a couple more things before I take us to the spot where we can leave this reality for another."
At the end, I tapped Momoyo's right thigh. Taking the hint immediately, she performed a smooth backflip off my shoulders, landing lightly on the ground before picking up her large white gym duffel bag.
"Well, we're ready to leave whenever, so do what you've got to do, Chikao." Momoyo placed the large white gym duffel bag over her right shoulder. "Alucard and I can have a small talk while you do your thing." She then looked over at Alucard, who merely raised an eyebrow at her.
I moved a bit farther away from the girls as I built up a wall of Spirituality around myself. I performed the necessary steps to enter Sefirah Castle and began a series of Computational Divinations after using Blind Stupidity on the Fates, ensuring they would have a much harder time noticing what I was about to do and were too dumb to do anything about it during that time.
A few hours later*
"Holy shit! Did you rob the national banks or something?!" Momoyo gasped in shock upon seeing multiple crates of stolen goods appear before her. "And why would you need this much?!" She demanded, pointing at the crates. Her eyes then landed on one in particular, and her expression grew even more baffled. "And why is one of them full of gold bars?!"
"Well, since who knows when we'll return, I'm just going to snatch up a few materials needed for multiple rituals before we leave. Once that's done, we should be good to go." I said, smiling at Momoyo.
I completely ignored Alucard as she set down another crate, one that had been coughed up by a large dog with shaggy black fur, multiple red eyes, and a wide, fang-filled mouth.
"I feel like we're going to be considered wanted criminals once we come back." Momoyo stared at me blankly.
"Be brave and remove the feel like part." I replied, pointing at myself, then at Alucard. "Because we—specifically the two of us—are absolutely going to be considered wanted criminals if we didn't wear masks to hide our identities."
"Okay, so are we going to have to wait until you complete your rituals with all this stuff before we leave, or are you planning on storing it away somewhere first?" Momoyo let out a sigh, crossing her arms underneath her breasts as she gave me a wry smile.
I looked at Momoyo, then back at the many crates, then back at Momoyo again.
The next day*
I wiped the sweat from my forehead after finally finishing the process of converting all the needed materials into supplementary ingredients. With that, the Potion's Ingredient Collection reached 99%, leaving only the Beyonder Characteristic required to complete it.
The only Pathway I could advance in right now was the Fool Pathway, since I had already obtained the Magician Beyonder Characteristic in the past. And with the necessary supplementary ingredients added, the progress reached 100%.
However, even without my Spirituality giving me a warning—which it wasn't—I still wouldn't advance to Sequence 7: Magician right now. I planned to wait until my other Pathways reached Sequence 8 first, keeping my overall advancement balanced before taking the next step on the Fool Pathway.
I stretched my back, causing a few bones to pop, before grabbing the silver ritual knife and tearing down the wall of Spirituality.
After that, I gathered all the leftover materials and placed them into a barely filled crate, mixing them with other usable materials that could still be saved for next time.
"Alright, Alucard. Store it away." I said to Alucard, who had been dozing off nearby.
Alucard snapped out of it immediately, her eyes sharpening before she summoned Baskerville—the same black dog familiar she had used yesterday. The shadowy beast opened its large, fang-filled mouth and swallowed the crate whole, storing it away somewhere deep inside its impossible stomach.
"By the way, Chikao, how come you're making Alucard carry the stuff inside the crates when you have your own methods for storing things?" Momoyo asked me as she tossed the food magazine she had been reading aside, then got up from her seat and walked over to me with her arms crossed.
"Because the places where I store my things aren't the best for ritual materials." I explained, putting my silver ritual knife back into my backpack. "They would almost certainly become polluted and corrupted to the point of being nearly useless to me. Their natures would be forcibly changed, and their original purpose would disappear." I zipped the backpack shut and swung it over my shoulders. "Anyway, everything is done. It's time for us to leave."
"So, where are we heading to leave this world for another?" Momoyo looks excited as she cracks her knuckles.
I didn't answer. Instead, I took a Teleportation Charm from my pocket, then pulled Alucard onto my back, ignoring the giant coffin she was still carrying.
Before Momoyo could ask anything else, I wrapped my left arm around her waist and activated the Teleportation Charm, letting its power drag all of us away before anyone had the chance to object.
We reappeared above the ancient magical well, dropping out of the Spirit World without warning.
The sudden shift in space left us falling downward, the air blowing around us as the old well came into view beneath our feet.
"Hold on tight. And if we somehow end up getting split from each other, Alucard, make sure you regroup with Momoyo as soon as possible." I said to the girls while we were still in the middle of falling. "I'll find the two of you as quickly as I can once we enter the new world."
I repeated the same method I had used before to activate the ancient magical well. Only this time, I wasn't aiming for a parallel reality still connected to the main one. I pushed the destination farther, far beyond its usual reach, toward a completely separate and unrelated world.
A bright light erupted before our eyes, forcing us to squint as it swallowed the ancient well and everything around us.
At the same time, gravity suddenly shifted, leaving our bodies weightless as we drifted through the blinding light, traveling into the unknown with no way of telling what kind of world waited on the other side.
I felt Alucard's arms tighten around my neck, while Momoyo did the same around my waist. Both of them held on with everything they had, refusing to let go as a new force of gravity seized us.
Then, without warning, we were pulled in a random direction—dragged toward a world that had no idea what was about to hit it as we forcibly made our entry.
The blinding light somehow grew even brighter, forcing all of us to close our eyes completely.
A few seconds later, we felt a strong wind blowing against our faces, sharp and sudden, as if we had been thrown out into open air rather than gently arriving at our destination.
We opened our eyes at the same time and discovered that we were in midair, high above the sky—so far up that we could barely make out the ground below us.
It only took a second for the realization to hit us.
We were falling fast, the wind roaring past our bodies as gravity dragged us downward. If nothing was done in time, this landing would most likely end with all of us dying on impact.
