Chapter 326 - Chapter 325 - Hephaestus Familia Store.

I left the Hestia Familia's house with Luan, and we headed toward the tower. Luan looked at my sword and said, "Why are you bringing that sword? Didn't I say we were going to buy you a new one?"

"I like this sword. I have a special attachment to it."

"Did someone from the Takemikazuchi Familia give it to you?" Luan asked.

After thinking for a moment, I decided to tell the truth. Luan isn't the type to get jealous over silly things. "God Takemikazuchi gave me this sword a long time ago." I smiled instinctively.

Even though he's a god, he was a great friend.

Now that I think about it, it's been a long time since I talked to him and the friends I made in that Familia. I should pay them a visit sometime. I'll definitely bring Luan with me when I do.

Many members of the Familia are his fans and like him.

"I see. God Takemikazuchi really liked you, didn't he?" Luan smiled. Just as I expected, he wasn't jealous.

"What do you think about visiting the Takemikazuchi Familia after our date?" I asked Luan.

"Today? I don't see a problem. We could even have dinner there. But will it be okay if we show up without prior notice?"

"Don't worry, it'll be fine."

I'm sure God Takemikazuchi and the members of the Familia will be very happy.

"All right, I'm looking forward to it." Luan smiled and continued walking.

When we arrived at the tower, he said, "Let's go to the Hephaestus Familia's shop. Once we get there, you can choose any sword you want. I have enough money to pay, so don't worry." He said it as if encouraging me to spend his money.

Even so, I still felt nervous… Should I really buy something expensive? I don't know if I deserve that.

Feeling quite anxious, I went up the floors until we reached the Hephaestus Familia's shop. I started sweating when I saw the prices of the swords displayed for adventurers.

The swords on display looked good, but the prices were terrifying…

I just saw one that costs three million.

Luan noticed I was nervous and said, "What's wrong? Worried about the price? I already told you it's fine. Choose whatever you want. I'll look for a sword for myself too."

He's going to buy a new sword for himself too!? How much money does he even have saved!?

I know he's a famous author, but isn't this a bit too much?

"All right, I'll choose something." I forced a smile, and then Luan stepped away. I began looking at swords similar to the one I use. There aren't many magical swords like mine here.

If I'm not mistaken, God Takemikazuchi paid the Hephaestus Familia to craft the sword I currently have. It was custom-made for me.

'None of the swords here really appeal to me… Should I tell Luan that?'

Or maybe I should just pick one of these cheaper swords.

POV: Luan

I stepped away from Mikoto but continued watching her movements. She's clearly nervous. 'I don't think it's just because of the prices. There isn't a sword here that matches her taste.'

She uses a katana, but none of the swords displayed here resemble one, even though they're very good.

'I wish I could get her a sword using the system. She's the only woman in my harem who uses a sword, after all. She'd be really happy.'

Wouldn't I receive a katana as a reward? No… that's too specific of an item.

I kept looking at the swords while thinking about what to do. Then I had an idea.

But before I could fully form the idea in my mind, Mikoto approached me and tapped my arm. "What do you think of this sword?" she asked. She was holding a longsword with a slightly curved blade.

It does look somewhat like a katana.

However, the blade is a little short.

"Do you want that sword?"

I examined it carefully. I don't know much about swords, but she could choose something better. Just by looking at it, I'm sure it wasn't made with high-quality mithril. Is this sword made of iron?

"Yes, I think this is good enough." She smiled at me. I noticed it was a forced smile.

I looked around and found the place where she had picked up the sword. The price was low—very low. The skill embedded in the sword wasn't very good either. "This sword isn't good enough for you."

I took the sword from her hands and placed it back where she had gotten it.

"But Luan, I don't need a new sword!"

"You do need a new sword. I want to give you a gift, Mikoto." I looked at her. "Don't you want to accept a gift from me?"

Mikoto looked away and lowered her head.

"All right. But there isn't a sword here that I really like."

"I had an idea."

The idea I had earlier was this: go to my bedroom and use the shop on my computer to search for a sword. I've only searched for items from my old world in that shop—but what if I search for magical swords?

Maybe I'll find a sword like the "Black Dragon" in that shop.

'But if I do find a sword like that there, it'll definitely cost a lot of points.'

I have a lot of points, but I also want to buy internet access and other things.

"An idea? What idea?"

"Come with me." I grabbed Mikoto's hand and guided her out of the shop. "I'm taking you to my bedroom."

"Huh? What?" Mikoto began to panic. "Weren't we going to explore the dungeon? You want to do that now?"

She even ignored the people around us who could hear what she was saying.

I laughed and said, "It's not what you're thinking. I'm taking you to a special bedroom of mine."

"A special bedroom?"
