I took Mikoto to the room where my computer was, and as soon as we entered, she was left speechless. She looked around, trying to understand everything inside that room. 'It's surprising that I never brought her here before.'
I should have done this earlier and explained what all these things were to her.
Mikoto then pointed at the computer. "What is that?"
"It's something very interesting. Want to take a look? Basically, it allows me to write my books quickly, and it also lets me access a shop."
"A shop? How is that possible?" Mikoto began looking at the screen and then behind it. She couldn't understand what was happening there. It was honestly very cute seeing her act like that.
After some time, I managed to explain everything to her, though I omitted the fact that this computer came from Earth—from another world. I didn't bother explaining where the computer and the other things came from, and Mikoto didn't seem interested in that part anyway.
I let her sit in front of the computer and move the mouse around, having a little fun.
I even opened a few offline games for her to try. But I only let her play for half an hour, since we were wasting too much time. "Alright, alright, that's enough. We came here to buy your sword, remember?"
"But I was almost defeating that boss!"
"You can play more later."
"Okay…" Mikoto pouted and got out of the chair. I sat down and opened the browser, then went to the shop. In the shop, I clicked on the search bar and typed "sword." As soon as I did, several options appeared.
Then I decided to sort them from the most expensive to the cheapest.
When I saw the prices, I was surprised at first, but soon I started to find them quite reasonable.
The most expensive sword costs 100,000 points. However, it's a sword capable of launching even a meteor. Something terrifying to own. I don't think even I should have something like that in my possession.
What if an accident happens…
'There are only one-handed swords and two-handed swords here. What if I search for "katana"? Will something appear?'
After my search, only katanas showed up.
"Ooooh!! They're beautiful!" Mikoto was mesmerized when she saw the katanas with decorative scabbards in various colors. The golden scabbards caught her attention the most. Should I buy one of those?
Fortunately, the katanas were cheaper—but also weaker.
The most expensive katana costs 10,000 points.
Thankfully, it had a beautiful golden and red scabbard. Mikoto also seemed to really like its appearance. 'Now let's take a look at its abilities. Oh, it even shows the attack power.'
Attack – 19,000
Durability – 20,000
Special Skill – Perfect Cut
That was the product description.
Is there a way to see what "Perfect Slash" does? I tried clicking on the skill, but nothing happened… Still… isn't that attack power way too high? Maybe this katana is even stronger than "Black Dragon."
No, impossible. Black Dragon has a will of its own—there's a dragon inside it.
"Did you like this sword, Mikoto?" I asked.
"Yes, it's very beautiful. And its blade is black—it matches your sword."
"That's true." I smiled. "Alright, I'll buy it."
"But how are they going to deliver the sword?"
"Watch carefully."
I purchased the sword, and 10,000 points were deducted from my status. Then the sword slowly began to form in the air above my head. Mikoto stepped back, startled.
"W-W-What is this? How is this possible? This is a magical artifact, isn't it?" She pointed at the computer. "How can something like this exist?"
She was completely amazed.
I grabbed the katana and placed it in Mikoto's hands.
'I can see its stats on the site, but I can't see them in person…'
Mikoto held the sword very carefully and unsheathed it.
"It's beautiful…" she murmured. Then she swung the sword a few times, testing it. "My God, this sword is perfect. It has no flaws. I don't even know if the Hephaestus Familia would be able to create something like this."
I think she's exaggerating a bit.
'Right…?'

With Mikoto holding her new sword, we headed to the dungeon. I stored her old sword in my inventory since it's something very important to her. When we arrived and entered the dungeon, I held Mikoto's hand and said:
"I'm going to teleport us to the 20th floor, alright?"
"20th floor!? I don't know if I can handle that. At least let me test my new sword first."
"Ah, right. Then I'll teleport us to the 10th floor."
In a second, our surroundings changed.
There was heavy fog, which was annoying. But since I can sense when monsters approach, it was fine. I kept holding Mikoto's hand as we walked. When I sensed a monster nearby, I said, "There's a monster over there. You can test your sword on it."
Mikoto looked at the Orc partially hidden in the fog.
"Alright." She looked at me seriously, nodded, and stepped forward.
As soon as she approached, the Orc noticed her. I stayed alert in case something went wrong and waited for Mikoto's attack.
Then she activated the sword's skill.
Her black blade began to emit a silver light, and soon after, she swung her katana downward, releasing the skill.
And then, something massive happened.
An invisible blade was created, slicing through everything in its path.
The Orc was cut in half, along with the ground and everything meters ahead of it. All the fog around us was blown away, and everything became visible. I stood there in silence, mouth open, unable to process what had just happened.
A massive crater had been carved into the dungeon floor because of the skill.
Mikoto slowly turned toward me, holding her katana with both hands, and asked:
"Luan… Is this real?"
She was in complete shock.
