Ash looked back, smiled unconsciously, and no longer hesitated as he signaled Charizard to accelerate and surge forward.

The three legendary birds launched continuous attacks. Whenever Zapdos and Articuno attacked, Lance and Sabrina took turns blocking them.

This made it much easier for Ash to deal with Moltres. With Charizard's current speed, he could easily evade Moltres's attacks.

On the helicopter, Giovanni watched this scene with flashing eyes, clenching his hand around the control device.

"Blizzard!"

Using Articuno's ultimate move again, Blizzard's power suddenly exploded. A massive area of snow and ice was released, blasting directly toward Ash.

Because the range was so extensive, Lance couldn't completely defend against it. Ash's eyes narrowed when he saw the incoming attack.

"Flamethrower!"

It was still the Flamethrower move, but its power was completely different now. Charizard's eyes blazed with fire as blue flames erupted from its mouth.

The flames swept forward, and the icy wind and snow were instantly melted by the intense heat. Massive amounts of steam filled the air, blocking the vision of both sides simultaneously.

"Sky Attack!"

Although he couldn't see clearly from above, Giovanni still launched a powerful assault. The three legendary birds merged their vision, giving them a threefold advantage.

When both sides were blinded, the legendary birds' superior eyesight was definitely more advantageous.

"Here they come, Charizard!"

Ash listened to the sounds of the three legendary birds. Although his eyes were obscured by the dense steam and his vision blocked, Ash didn't panic.

Sensing the surrounding power with his heart, he could feel the tremendous and violent energy of the three legendary birds. At the same time, with his current enhanced awareness, Ash could sense something else—uneasiness.

It was the unrest in the hearts of the three legendary birds. He could understand that they were unwilling to exist in this controlled state, and he could feel their reluctance to be manipulated by others.

"Don't worry! I'll set you free soon! Here we go!"

Ash clenched his fists. The three legendary birds could share vision, and he and Charizard could also share their senses. In their current synchronized state, as long as he sensed the legendary birds' location, Charizard could feel it too.

"WHOOOOSH!"

In just a moment, Ash suddenly opened his eyes and spoke after sensing the air current fluctuations.

"Here they come! Grab them!"

Ash gave the order with a determined expression, and Charizard acted immediately upon hearing the command. It spread its arms wide, sharp claws gleaming with cold light, then surged with brilliant green energy.

Green energy enveloped Charizard's claws, releasing tremendous dragon-type energy. This was the new move it had been perfecting—Dragon Claw.

"What? This is... dragon-type energy? Charizard actually possesses such pure dragon energy?!"

At that moment, Lance, who was positioned far behind, suddenly sensed this familiar energy. As the Dragon-type Elite Champion, he held the title of Dragon Master.

He possessed the power to command dragons that ordinary trainers lacked, and could clearly sense dragon-type energy.

However, even though he was a Dragon-type Elite, it didn't mean all his Pokémon were Dragon-types. He also owned a Charizard, but despite its name and appearance, Charizard was actually a Fire and Flying-type Pokémon, not a Dragon-type.

Although his dragon mastery had limited range, it worked on dragon-like Pokémon because they could learn dragon-type moves.

Therefore, dragon-type energy existed to some extent in such Pokémon, but only those that truly belonged to the Dragon-type possessed the purest dragon energy. Other Pokémon that were dragon-shaped but lacked the Dragon-type attribute weren't nearly as pure.

But now, he sensed completely pure dragon energy emanating from Charizard's body, which amazed him. Could it be that after this transformation, Charizard's type had also changed?

"CRASH!"

Before Lance could resolve his confusion, he heard a tremendous impact as two figures clashed in the air ahead.

The explosive sound from their collision spread outward along with powerful air currents, simultaneously dispersing the surrounding steam and revealing the two Pokémon's forms in the air.

At that moment, Charizard's gleaming green claws were firmly grasping the three legendary birds' bodies, struggling against their tremendous power.

The two forces battled against each other in midair. Charizard was now able to withstand the three legendary birds' frontal assault. Following Ash's will, Charizard gritted its teeth and held onto the legendary birds.

The controlled legendary birds continued to struggle, but Charizard used the massive claws formed by Dragon Claw to grip them tightly as both sides grappled in the air.

"Destroy them!"

Giovanni's expression turned grim as he gave the command. Since the three legendary birds couldn't escape, they prepared to launch a devastating attack. Tri Attack energy concentrated at close range.

With Ash and Charizard in this position, they were extremely vulnerable.

"Ash is in danger!" Seeing this scene, everyone shouted with worry.

But Ash didn't flinch. This was his only chance. Without hesitation, Ash stood up from behind Charizard and leaped forward.

Under everyone's panicked gazes, Ash jumped from behind Charizard to the back of the three legendary birds. He opened the box in his hands simultaneously, removed the separator device inside, and tossed the box away.

"Wake up!"

Standing behind the three legendary birds, Ash pressed the button on the separator, then slammed the device directly onto the legendary birds' backs. Brilliant light instantly emanated from the separator.

"SCREEEEECH!"

The three legendary birds let out piercing screams simultaneously, their entire bodies seeming to experience intense pain as they began struggling violently.

This time, Charizard couldn't maintain its grip and was thrown away by the legendary birds. As for Ash, he didn't even have time to hold on and was hurled from the legendary birds' backs.

Falling through the air, Charizard lost its balance after being thrown off. Seeing Ash's predicament, it quickly adjusted its body and rushed toward him.

When Lance saw this, he rode his Aerodactyl closer and signaled Dragonite to attempt a rescue. This time, it wasn't over a river but above real city streets. If Ash fell, the impact would be catastrophic.
