PROLOGUE
Magic—or, in its purest form, Mana—is a supernatural energy that flows through every living creature in this world. Clever and ambitious, humans quickly learned to harness this power to perform feats that defy nature, feats now known simply as Magic.
All of humanity resides on a single, enormous continent called the Great Land, spanning more than half of the Earth's diameter. Within this vast expanse, humans are divided into four massive nations, aligned with the cardinal directions, alongside smaller territories scattered between and around them.
For centuries, the four Great Kingdoms waged a brutal war for control over these smaller nations—and for supremacy over one another. The conflict lasted five hundred years, filled with endless bloodshed and despair, until the rise of the South-Land Monarchs: the most formidable group of mages ever known.
At their head stood the Mage Emperor, a figure whose power and authority brought the warring nations to heel.
With their arrival, the war finally came to an end, and the Great Land was left in a fragile state of peace—a peace that, though celebrated, carried whispers of old grudges and the ever-present shadow of what had been fought for and lost.

Dominic grew up believing in heroes—and in a world where peace was possible. He idolized the Monarchs and their leader, the Mage Emperor--the mages who ended a five-hundred-year war and dreamed of following in the Emperor's footsteps.
But the world he steps into is nothing like he imagined. Peace is a lie, justice is corrupted, and power is built on cruelty. By the time Dominic sees the truth, he is no longer a hopeful boy.
He has seen the world for what it truly is: broken, violent, and corrupt—and he knows that surviving it will demand courage darker than he ever imagined.

This story is divided into separate but connected volumes, each focusing on different stages of the protagonist's growth.
Each volume expands the world further while gradually escalating the stakes, conflicts, and power levels.
The structure allows the story to progress from smaller, grounded conflicts toward larger events that shape the fate of entire regions.
