Chapter 1 - I’ve Been Reincarnated [1]

*Huh!*

*Where is this place? Where am I?*

Whynne Rowse woke up in a unfamiliar room, the first thing he saw was the beaten ceiling. Sunlight streaming through the windows, he slowly raised his hand to cover his eyes. Whynne's vision slowly adjusted, with shock in his eyes he bluntly stared at his hand. His mind swirled with a dozen questions.

*How is this possible? My body is that of a child's!*

He's questions remained unanswered.

He took in his surroundings. The room was average in size, with wooden walls along with a rough wooden floor. It looked nothing like his Morden apartment.

"Damn it my head hurts…,"

Whynne tried sitting up straight, but his body was and uncoordinated. His small muscles ached like hell and his head head spun. Then he collapsed back on the bed with his back feeling disoriented.

*What's going on with me? Could it be that I'm dreaming?*

He pinched his arm to if he was dreaming or not.

"Ouch!"

He muttered rubbing the sore spot.

The pain was no help, but it did make him fully aware of his surroundings.

*No, this is definitely real.*

He absorbed the room again, taking in every detail.

The pain left his body and he sat upright, this time without the nagging pain. So he rested his chin on his hand, gathering his thoughts. He was suddenly hit with flashes of a childhood he was unfamiliar with, people he'd never even met before, of places he'd never been. The memories were fragmented and disjointed.

Whynne saw a woman smiling, with a group of mischievous rugrets, that seemed to be his home, but none of it felt like his own memories. It was like watching someone else's life unfold before his eyes.

Then the flashes stopped as suddenly as they began. Leaving him disoriented and confused.

*Just who in the world we're those people?*

He said scratched his head in confusion.

He paused for a moment, he's face frozen with an unreadable expression. The corners of his lips began to twitch and curled up with an enigmatic smile. As the pieces fell in place piecing everything together.

*This body, the strange room and these strange memories this could only mean…*

As the thoughts formed he was breathing heavily.

*I've been Reincarnated!*

He excitedly raised his fists.

Whynne couldn't contain his excitement. The thought sent a rush of adrenaline through his veins. He took a few deep breaths trying to calm himself down. But it was no use. The excitement was building up inside of him.

Creak! Creak! Creak!

Suddenly a door creaked open, and a woman stepped inside.

The woman had a kind face, with soft features and beautiful brown eyes along with long blond hair that tied back into a loose bun. She wore a simple yet delicate elegant dress. She locked her gaze on him. Her face lit with a mix of shock and joy. She rushed and knelt besides the bed. She tightly squeezed his hand as sobs cracked her face as she spoke.

"——XXX——XX—-" ("How is this possible!")

"——XXX——XX——" ("Thank goodness, I'm so glad you're awake")

Her voice muffled as she leaned in for a big hug squeezing his small frame.

Whynne listened to the words, as he struggled to make sense of the sound and syllables. At first it was a jumbled mess, but then the words began to take shape. The language became more clear to him like it was being translated no. It was more like he was used to it. The words poured like water.

*I can understand her.*

Her cries echoed throughout the whole village her tears fell like poring rain, and resonated with the weight of her emotions. Lee Han Soo couldn't help but feel embarrassed. As he immediately recognised the woman.

*She's the woman from those earlier versions. Judging from her actions she's probably the mother of this kid or at least someone close. But why is she crying? Damnit she's putting me in a situation where I have to stay something. Come….on think fast*

He let put a quiet sigh

"…sigh!"

*Alright then I'll just have to use my acting skills!*

Unbeknownst to the woman, Whynne slightly smiled and let out a soft expression with a mix of confusion.

"M-Mom,whe…re am I?"

His voice sounding groggy and disoriented.

"Your home now with mommy!"

The woman wiped off the left over tears on her face.

*Nailed it!*

Whynne remarked.

Although the future was uncertain, but something about it felt promising.
