Chapter 366 - End of Toaru — The Strike Against the Tree and Sea

"I know."

Phanes slowly relaxed her clenched hand.

"I'm simply excited that Teyvat is finally reaching this point."

Her once stern and icy expression softened considerably—transforming almost from indifference to affection.

She was the embodiment of Human Principle, and thus possessed all the emotions of sentient life.

However, Pan-Human History had never been in a truly immortal state. Unless it reached the multiversal level and achieved unrestricted liberation, it always faced the possibility of destruction. Therefore, she had ruled Pan-Human History with utmost rationality.

But now, with ascension to the multiversal level imminent, the cold rationality within her heart began to melt away.

After all, Human Principle was the Truth most driven by emotion.

"I have waited for this moment… for such a long time."

Although for someone of her level, such a duration was but the blink of an eye, she spoke from the perspective of the former Phanes.

[Hehehe… I think you've said those words countless times already, haven't you, Phanes? How adorable.]

Phanes pouted slightly. "This really is the last time."

The multiversal level represented the pinnacle of any world; beyond that lay only boundless growth from the passage of eternity itself.

As Teyvat's Human Principle, she also bore a strand of the Heavenly Principle's Super-Primeval Power, giving her the means to glimpse the endless superdimension.

Currently, the number of truly multiversal worlds within the superdimension was only in the double digits—not yet reaching the hundreds.

Among them were a few of colossal magnitude—high-tier multiverses and infinite multiverses.

Such vastness was born simply from the immeasurable length of their existence.

However, not every multiversal world could give rise to a Super-Primeval God.

Some worlds possessed Great Wills—grand consciousnesses that, through certain unknowable miracles, ascended to the multiversal level.

For instance, the Great Will of the Tree and Sea world.

If that Great Will were to seize the corpse-like Toaru world—one devoid of will—it could theoretically ascend to multiversal status as well, though the probability was far lower than capturing Teyvat.

Such multiversal worlds, however, always carried inherent flaws—flaws that expanded endlessly alongside their growth.

Though these flaws did not destabilize the worlds themselves, they brought immense suffering to the civilizations and gods within.

To alleviate that pain, a multiversal world would often fragment a portion of its power and send it back to the beginning of its timeline, birthing a Super-Primeval God.

Yet the Super-Primeval Gods born within multiversal worlds—such as Phanes or Ophis—were distinct from the Primordial Unifiers.

To draw an analogy from the Great Dsolation world, the distinction was akin to that between Dao Saints and Heavenly Dao Saints.

As for why Noah knew so much…

Toaru World.

Noah toyed idly with a shard of Truth—one originating from a universe whose scale had already reached the level of an infinite multiverse.

The shard resembled a blooming flower, each petal a distinct Truth, its quality far surpassing that of Teyvat.

Counting carefully, there were thirteen complete Truths—and several more incomplete ones.

"I was just thinking about the Law of Cycles—and she actually sent me an invitation."

"How naive… to expose her own world's coordinates and location so easily. If it had been an evil Super-Primeval God, that world would already have been swallowed."

To be honest, Noah's expression had turned incredulous the moment he received the invitation from that universe.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica—that world was, in his memory, one of the few super-worlds that had already surpassed even the infinite multiversal level.

He never would have expected the Law of Cycles herself to send him an invitation—complete with data revealing parts of her multiverse's deficiencies.

Wasn't this the same as handing over her own weakness?

"As expected of… the Law of Cycles. She trusted me merely through sensing a trace of my Super-Primeval Power."

"But having good intentions doesn't mean I won't act against you if needed."

A multiversal-level world could never be observed unless it chose to reveal itself; any lesser power would be utterly incapable of perceiving it.

And now, Noah held in his grasp the coordinates of two such multiversal worlds.

Moreover, the Law of Cycles' world possessed only two Super-Primeval beings—one divine, one demonic.

At present, Homura Akemi had not yet ascended to stand on equal ground with the Law of Cycles.

"Truly… how should I even describe this?"

Noah played idly with a fragment of the Law of Cycles' power.

"Thirteen complete Truths—and yet not a single one corresponds to the Kabbalah. Even the Ouroboros is incomplete."

"The superdimension truly is vast and strange… and yet such an imperfect construct could still give rise to an infinite-multiverse superworld."

[Madoka Kaname… I will help you.]

He infused his will into that fragment of the Law of Cycles and projected it outward.

That shard would return to its origin like a messenger dove carrying a divine reply.

For now, Teyvat had not yet fully reached the multiversal level, and thus could not possibly annex an infinite multiverse.

At the multiversal level, the process was no longer one of devouring, but of merging.

The only question that remained was—who would become the dominant subject.

And that struggle would be waged between the Lawbearers themselves.

"If it's Madoka Kaname… for the sake of everyone's happiness, she would yield unconditionally."

A faint smile curved Noah's lips.

His gaze then shifted toward the coordinates of the other multiversal world.

That world, of course, was Little Garden.

At this moment, Little Garden was undertaking the same process as the Tree and Sea World.

However, Little Garden had already crossed the threshold and begun its endless expansion.

Its expansion, though, was slow—gentle and steady rather than explosive.

It seemed that Little Garden, too, had not ascended through the natural growth of a Super-Primeval God. There were imperfections within it.

In truth, Little Garden's situation could be described as strong on the outside, hollow within. Its mightiest lifeforms barely reached the level of strong single-universe—and even then, only the weaker kind. The sole existence approaching the multiversal level was not a lifeform at all, but a mechanism.

Noah withdrew his gaze.

"The Tree and Sea is about to ascend. I must finish my preparations in the Toaru world ahead of time."

"Otherwise, if I follow the normal sequence, I might miss the most opportune moment."

Noah glanced at the girls within the cultivation pods, each of them strengthening their esper abilities. A gentle smile touched his lips.

A faint image of a clock flickered within his eyes—and at that instant, time itself began to shift.

The speed of the timeline accelerated.

The surrounding space-time grew hazy as the rushing timeline distorted reality, scenes flashing rapidly before his eyes as though he were watching countless films fast-forwarding at once.

In the first scene—

The girls emerged from the cultivation pods, faces flushed as they hastily dressed. Under Noah's guidance, they quickly adapted to their newly enhanced esper powers.

Over the following period, he acted as their instructor, teaching them everything about abilities and power control.

Teenage hearts wavered under his presence—their radiant "white moonlight." Amid flushed cheeks and pounding hearts, they confessed one after another.

But he never accepted their feelings directly. After all, most of them were only twelve or thirteen years old. Even the oldest, Mugino Shizuri, was barely fifteen.

The next scene—

In the Vatican, Coronzon manifested as an angel, holding in her hands the seed of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. Amidst the fervor of millions of believers, she delivered the Gospel of God, enacting the judgment of good and evil upon the religious nobility.

Under the Pope's supervision, every condemned noble was bound to a cross and carried to St. Peter's Square. Holy light descended from the heavens, bathing their bodies, and in the worshippers' ecstatic cries, they dissolved within that divine radiance.

Fiamma of the Right watched the scene silently, arms folded, and at last understood why he could no longer wield his power.

God had judged that he was unworthy to save the world—and thus, the divine mandate had passed to Laura.

Under the divine decree, God's Right Seat disbanded naturally.

After all, even Terra of the Left had been among those condemned by judgment.

Acqua of the Back gazed coldly upon his burning comrades beneath the holy light. "Hmph. I told you—God would never recognize such madness as faith. You would never receive salvation."

As one who bore both Saint and Madonna attributes, he could clearly perceive the divine presence—and God's will.

Acting as the angelic emissary of the divine, Laura declared God's will before all believers, correcting every distortion within the doctrine of the Holy Bible.

The third scene—

Aleister roamed beyond Earth, slaughtering Magic Gods one after another.

He slew the Voodoo deity Zombie near Neptune.

He shattered the body of the Greek monster Chimera and erased its essence within Jupiter's atmosphere.

He tore apart the existence of the Aztec Sun God Tezcatlipoca.

And one forgotten Old One from the Cthulhu Mythos was obliterated by the force of tenfold universal big bang.

One by one, the deaths of the Magic Gods instilled terror even in Proserpina, Othinus, and Nephthys.

Then, a golden spear formed from the power of the Kabbalah descended from the heavens, instantly erasing the High Priest who had tried to infiltrate Academy City.

In St. George's Cathedral, Laura stood with her golden hair cascading freely, her smile radiant and unrestrained.

"Petty heretical gods… before my Lord's divine power, you are but fragile bubbles that burst with a touch."

Aiwass and Laura soon located Othinus, Nephthys, and Proserpina, sealing each within wooden-sized cocoons of light and presenting them reverently to Noah.

"You've done well," Noah said softly, rolling the four glowing cocoons between his fingers, his expression calm. "This world will soon merge with Teyvat. Prepare yourselves."

He smiled faintly.

It was almost a pity—the holiday within the Toaru world was ending so soon.

By the reckoning of normal time, only about a year had passed.

According to the original timeline, Kamijou Touma hadn't even met Index yet.

Noah's gaze turned toward Tokyo, Japan.

At this moment, Index no longer required memory resets. She was happily wandering about, eating and drinking with the female Saint, Kanzaki Kaori.

The memories once erased from Index had now been restored.

As for the reason—Laura had conveniently attributed it to the will of God.

Though Index had her flaws, her faith in him—the true, existing God—was pure and unwavering.

The God she once believed in had not truly existed, and thus her devotion had no real object. But now, her Lord was real.

And for a true nun, both body and soul were bound by divine creed—and that creed had finally taken effect.

Of course, not all women of the Church were nuns. To truly bear that title, one must undergo baptism and be formally acknowledged by God.

Those who had not received such recognition were merely members of the Church, though they were often addressed as "sisters" in name.

However, the baptized nuns—those officially recognized by the Church—were now regarded collectively as candidates for sainthood.

Since Laura had initiated the Grand Judgment, only a little over a hundred women across the entire Church had been re-baptized and received Noah's divine will.

Additionally, any female saint bearing stigmata was also considered a candidate for sainthood. They could now directly commune with the divine will.

To fight for the beauty of all things—that sacred intent became their guiding faith.

Laura clasped her hands together, her face filled with devotion. "Ah~ this world is finally returning to the Kingdom of God. How wonderful."

To her, this world might have been one casually created by God long ago—now merely remembered and called back into His domain.

Who could possibly fathom how many worlds God had created?

Noah nodded slightly, his form beginning to fade.

When he appeared again, he was already beyond the boundaries of the Toaru world.

Under the full pull of the Teyvat Multiverse, the Toaru world had reached the contact point with Teyvat.

This was not a matter of time, space, or dimensional distance.

The term "distance" itself held no meaning here.

In the superdimension, a world might reach another in an instant—or wander for eons without ever approaching the edge.

It was complete Schrödinger uncertainty.

But one of the functions of Super-Primeval Power was to redefine such indeterminacy.

Now, in the outer reaches of the cosmic sea beyond the Teyvat Multiverse—

Brilliant auroras illuminated half the cosmic ocean. Countless universes, great and small, rippled under their influence, their waves surging from the interference.

At Teyvat's core, the Light of Truth flared, piercing the entire cosmic sea and calming the turbulent waves.

Within that aurora that lit half the cosmos, a luminous mass of immense density drifted forth.

Though no larger than the average great universe, its mass exceeded that of tens of thousands combined—and the radiance it emitted, the Light of Truth second only to Teyvat's own, shone across the endless sea.

Noah raised his head, gazing toward the Tree and Sea universe beyond Teyvat.

His lips curved upward slightly, his eyes glinting with reckless determination.

"The speed of its ascension… it's faster than I anticipated."

"Once I finish disassembling the Toaru world, I'll turn my full force against you."

"I hope you'll appreciate this gift I've prepared for your multiversal ascension—hehe."
