Chapter 367 - Targeting the Tree and Sea — The Multiversal Strike Begins!

Within Noah's eyes unfolded a vision only he could behold.

The aura, Truth, Laws, and informational threads of the Teyvat World had already spread like countless capillaries through every corner of the Tree and Sea World.

The Imaginary Tree and the Sea of Quanta—

The full silhouette of the Tree and Sea Great World imprinted itself upon his mind.

What kind of unfathomable level of existence was this?

"Level" might not even be an adequate term to describe such an altitude.

To the higher beings of the multiverse, it was an infinite, boundless vastness—unfathomable, unapproachable, unimaginable, and ineffable.

Yet to Noah, it appeared as a mere segment of spacetime's history—a single line of text, a painting, a flicker of information.

"Life?"

At this stage, could such entities still be called life?

The gap had long surpassed the narrative layer itself.

At this height, matter, spirit, truth, destiny, dimension—all lost meaning.

Multiversal… beyond multiversal—limitless ascension of worlds, unrestricted transcendence of cosmology.

High multiverse, infinite multiverse—

Once the unbreachable red line was crossed, all became within reach.

The Tree and Sea World was ascending, and as it did, Noah ascended alongside it.

During this process of elevation, the Tree and Sea World expanded infinitely—within but an instant of observation, it had already doubled in scale from the previous second.

And Noah's own power doubled with it.

The Tree and Sea World remained blissfully unaware that its entire multiverse was no longer under its control, intoxicated instead by boundless joy.

Noah's gaze refocused upon the Toaru world.

He raised his hand.

The Super-Primeval Power activated—silent and natural.

His strength expanded infinitely. This time, he did not deliberately invoke it.

It was as natural as lifting a teacup from a table to take a sip.

The shell of the Toaru world cracked apart with a faint crack.

Like a shattered eggshell, fragments of varying sizes scattered outward.

Crack… crack…

The fragments continued breaking, collapsing further and further until they became the most basic units of cosmic matter.

Then, like bubbles dissolving, they melted into light, releasing the liberated Truth within.

Colorful auroras spread evenly throughout the cosmic sea, merging one by one into streams that flowed toward the rings of Truth above the main universe.

The seven Rings of Truth resonated with one another, continuously devouring the very foundation of this super single-universe world. The power of Truth grew increasingly vast.

Meanwhile, as the Tree and Sea World neared its multiversal threshold, its overall mass continued to expand infinitely.

New Truths—previously absent from Teyvat—began to manifest here.

The previously interwoven Rings of Truth gradually aligned, merging completely, fusing into a single composite Truth. No longer distinct, each became one within the whole.

And in that instant, the invisible shackles that had constrained the embodiments of Truth shattered.

They broke through the upper limits imposed by their own laws.

From super single-universe beings, they transcended—taking one decisive step into the weak multiversal level.

They all appeared there, gazing upon the radiant wheel of light illuminating the entire Teyvat Multiverse.

Phanes spread her arms wide, feeling the endlessly swelling power.

"At last… the moment of our multiversal ascension!"

Ophis sat casually in the void, arms around her knees, smiling softly. "It feels a bit surreal… without realizing it, we've already reached the time of ascension."

Dream crossed her arms, glancing at Ophis. "You've slept three times so far. Before your last nap, you just helped tune the cosmic sea—and then you went back to sleep again, sleepy dragon."

Buer scratched her cheek awkwardly. "Uh… by that logic, Dream, I'm the one who's done nothing at all. As the last to awaken as Akasha, I've barely even been around a century."

Excluding what she'd accomplished back when she was still a ruler of the divine collective, she truly hadn't contributed much.

Asmoday appeared next, her gaze stunned as she beheld the Rings of Truth.

"The Rings of Truth… are evaporating?"

At that moment, the radiant, multicolored Rings of Truth began dissolving into pure Light of Truth, diffusing across all of Teyvat and merging completely with the world itself.

Ophis glanced toward Asmoday. "They aren't evaporating—they're ascending."

"The Truth is fusing entirely with the world. At the moment of multiversal ascension, the Truth expands infinitely alongside the multiverse itself."

Teyvat now stood at the precise threshold of becoming a multiverse.

Phanes frowned, her expression grave. "The Tree and Sea's ascension is driving Teyvat's own rise—but this is also Teyvat's most perilous moment."

"If we fail to shatter the Great Will of the Tree and Sea in that instant, then once it ascends to multiversal status, we'll enter a drawn-out struggle of mutual assimilation. By then, our success rate will drop to only fifty percent."

Mio shook her head lightly. "We're aware. Our Lord Heavenly Principle has already prepared everything perfectly. We need only give our full cooperation."

Istaroth appeared beside them, smiling playfully as she pointed toward the outer edge of the cosmic sea.

"Once our master finishes absorbing that great world, the operation will begin."

...

At that moment, the annexation of the Toaru world was still underway.

After stripping away the outer shell encasing it, countless phases dissolved back into Laws, spreading throughout the cosmic sea.

Reality itself underwent endless fragmentation.

In the blink of an eye, over a thousand entirely distinct great universes had formed.

Infinite spacetime, infinite causality, infinite destinies—all divided in perfect order.

Each of these new great universes had been born from the distortions caused by the Magic Gods' divine powers within the current world.

Some became completely alien worlds.

Others—parallel universes.

Once these universes emerged, they were integrated by the Truth, no longer fragile bubbles that could burst with a touch.

Even if the Magic Gods themselves unleashed their might within these universes, they could never destroy them again.

After tens of thousands of universes had split apart, one final universe remained—the most primal one.

That universe was the modern world.

Academy City. The Three Great Churches. Misaka Mikoto. Shokuhou Misaki…

All of them existed within this great universe.

Noah gently nudged this universe, guiding it to orbit closer to the outer edge of the main universe—aligned perfectly within the cosmic sequence.

Once this was complete, he exhaled deeply, his gaze sharpening.

An aura signifying imminent multiversal ascension emanated faintly from him.

The power of the Super-Primeval God spread silently along the leyline-like pathways of Teyvat's essence, extending into the infinitely expanding Tree and Sea World.

At that moment, the outer reaches of the Tree and Sea World were expanding exponentially—doubling in scale with every passing second.

Madness. Infinity. Terror. Endless. Without end.

"Phanes, Ophis, Mio, Dream, and Buer—come to me."

As Noah's words fell, five figures of varying heights appeared beside him.

Phanes' golden eyes glimmered. The weak multiversal aura surrounding her rippled outward—its presence alone enough to stir the entire multiverse. A mere word from her could reduce everything below the multiversal level to dust, and with another, restore it all as if nothing had ever happened.

Her strength now rivaled Noah's own.

Alongside her, Ophis, Dream, Mio, and Buer each possessed power comparable to hers.

They were the embodiments of Teyvat's Truth—the incarnations of its laws—and thus each one represented a fragment of Noah's own might. Collectively, each held roughly one-fifth of his total power.

Phanes remained calm as ever. "You're about to begin, aren't you?"

Ophis leaned her cheek against her hand. "What do you need us to do?"

Dream, Mio, and Buer all looked at him with expectant eyes.

Noah smiled faintly, raising a finger toward the heavens.

"It's simple."

"Teyvat's Truth and Laws have already spread through the Tree and Sea like capillaries."

"And since you are the incarnations of Truth itself, I need you to restrain the entire Tree and Sea for a single instant when the ascension begins."

Fortunately, the Tree and Sea's strongest entities were only Aeons—and those within its great universes who had reached the single-universe level could be counted on one hand.

Thus, there was no higher being capable of opposing Teyvat.

The target was singular—the Great Will of the Tree and Sea.

Noah sneered inwardly. To him, any Great Will that hoarded its strength rather than dividing it among subordinate rulers was nothing but arrogance.

If such a world developed peacefully—untroubled by invasion—there would be no issue. But once an external force appeared, it became vulnerable to concentrated assault.

Perhaps that Great Will believed it could crush any invader before they posed a threat.

Buer nodded softly. "You can rest assured. When the time comes, we will give our all to restrain the Tree and Sea."

Ophis tilted her head. "You sound confident. Even if we go all out, we can only hold the Tree and Sea still for less than one second. Do you really think that's enough time to destroy a Great Will that has already ascended to the multiversal level?"

Mio nodded slightly. "I trust you completely, but I share her concern. Can you ease our minds?"

Her worry was not whether Noah could defeat the Great Will—but for his own safety.

Although Noah, too, stood at the brink of multiversal ascension, his progress was slower than the Great Will's.

That meant he would have to strike down an already-ascended multiversal entity within a single second.

"Nearly multiversal" was still not "truly multiversal."

Noah gently patted Mio and Ophis on the head, smiling. "You worry too much. Who am I? Hehehe… I never act without absolute certainty."

"It's almost time. Prepare yourselves."

Whoosh—

In the next instant, Noah and the five vanished from the Teyvat World.

When they reappeared, they stood within the Tree and Sea itself.

This was the boundary where the Imaginary Tree, the Sea of Quanta, and Teyvat converged—where the forces of all three intermingled.

The Imaginary Tree, the Sea of Quanta, and Teyvat were expanding at a rate visible to the naked eye.

Such expansion defied all logic—matter, energy, rules, even cosmology itself multiplied endlessly from seemingly nothing.

Noah raised his head, gazing toward the infinitely expanding firmament above.

There, all the wills of the Tree and Sea were gathering together.

Their unification formed the Great Will of the Tree and Sea.

From a state of formlessness and invisibility, it began to manifest.

It appeared as a vast, prismatic cloud of light, its hues shifting endlessly. It exuded joy and ecstasy, each strand of aurora spreading outward in rhythm with the world's expansion.

This process mirrored exactly what Teyvat's Truth was doing—merging completely with its world.

Once the Tree and Sea's Great Will fully fused with its realm, it would become unbreakable for eternity.

For now, it was merely spreading its will, not yet fully merged with the Tree and Sea.

Only after the ascension to multiversal status would fusion truly begin. If the process were interrupted before then, the ascension would only be a half-success—though it would still reach the multiversal level, its rate of expansion would slow to an immeasurable degree.

Every world's consciousness unfailingly chose what it believed to be the absolutely correct path.

Buzz… Buzz… Buzz…

The entire Tree and Sea Great World began to quake violently.

The change began at the roots of the Imaginary Tree.

Crack… crack…

The Imaginary Tree fractured from its base, disintegrating into endless fragments of light—or rather, an ocean of light.

The Imaginary Tree was the origin of all Truths, Laws, and Principles within the Tree and Sea.

Its collapse was the liberation of every Truth and Law, merging them entirely with the whole of the Tree and Sea.

As the Imaginary Tree crumbled from its roots, the sea of light spread outward, expanding until it became the full cosmic ocean.

Countless great and small universes swam within that sea of light. In that instant, they began to move in ordered harmony, guided by a supreme law.

A medium-sized universe—smaller than the typical great universe—flashed briefly within the sea of light.

Noah's gaze turned toward it. Within that universe surged a unique form of Honkai energy, and innumerable worldlines tangled together.

A single thought from him entered that universe, altering its timeline in an instant—reversing it to an age before the Honkai had ever begun.

Soon, that entire universe would become a part of Teyvat—joining the cause of fighting for all that is beautiful.

After the Imaginary Tree, the Sea of Quanta began its own infinite expansion, merging with the ocean of light to form the true cosmic sea.

Though Teyvat's cosmic sea possessed far greater density and quality, in sheer volume it was incomparable.

"Heh… what a clever scheme. My Teyvat isn't even deemed worthy to join the cosmic sea as a proper fragment—it's merely nourishment?"

Having read the Tree and Sea's plan for multiversal ascension, Noah nearly laughed in disbelief.

The Tree and Sea hadn't considered Teyvat a partner in evolution at all.

To it, Teyvat was nothing but nourishment—to be completely broken down into pure energy of Truth, Law, and dimension, enriching the quality of its own cosmic sea.

Not a single universe from Teyvat would remain. Not a single life would survive.

After dismantling the Sea of Quanta, the Great Will of the Tree and Sea turned its focus toward Teyvat.

"Begin the operation."

Noah's will moved.

"Yes, understood!"

Phanes, Ophis, Mio, Dream, and Buer responded in unison.

In the next instant, five weak multiversal auras erupted at once—their surging force crashing upon the entire Tree and Sea.
