Chapter 23 - The Miracle

Everyone present stood frozen in shock, their eyes wide open as they looked at Mrs. Shah.

Supriya stared at her in disbelief and blurted out,

"Mrs. Shah… you… you look—"

But before she could finish, Mrs. Shah interrupted excitedly.

"You've done something incredible, handsome boy!"

Standing at the restroom door, Mrs. Shah looked completely different. Her face was perfectly clear—there wasn't the slightest trace of a pimple left, as if they had never existed. In fact, her skin was glowing beautifully, almost like that of a fairy who had just descended from the heavens.

Seeing the result of Om's liquid in such a short time left everyone speechless. No one except Om had even expected the liquid to work this effectively. The transformation was so sudden that everyone stood there stunned.

"Young man, you still haven't told me your name," Mrs. Shah said, looking directly at him.

Om replied gently,

"My name is Om… Abhay's friend."

Mrs. Shah nodded enthusiastically.

"Mr. Abhay, your friend has done something truly remarkable. I honestly never imagined that any cream could work so fast and so effectively. Om, you've practically invented an extraordinary product. Something like this is almost impossible… I'm still confused about how you managed to pull it off."

Om smiled calmly and replied,

"It's not impossible at all, Mrs. Shah… not if you have the right knowledge about plants and herbs."

Mrs. Shah lowered her gaze slightly, feeling embarrassed by her earlier behavior.

"Mr. Abhay… Mr. Om… please forgive me. I behaved very badly with you. Even though it wasn't your fault, you still helped me and freed me from these terrible pimples. Thank you so much."

Supriya, Abhay, and Om all smiled.

After apologizing to everyone, Mrs. Shah turned to leave. She had almost reached the door when something suddenly crossed her mind. She turned back toward Om and said,

"Mr. Om, would you be willing to make some more of that liquid and sell it to me?"

Om looked slightly confused at first but then smiled politely.

"Yes, I can make it… but I'm a little busy at the moment."

Mrs. Shah laughed lightly.

"That's fine, Mr. Om. Whenever you prepare it, just inform me. Could you give me your contact number?"

Om nodded with a smile and shared his number with her.

Meanwhile, Ankshika had just returned home after being out for some time. She parked her car and walked inside the house. As soon as she entered the living room, she noticed the city's mayor sitting comfortably on the sofa.

Seeing him, Ankshika didn't react dramatically. Instead, she walked over with a playful smile and said,

"Good evening, Bade Papa… or should I call you Mayor Sir now?"

The mayor, who had been looking at his phone, glanced up at her and chuckled.

"Oh, Ankshika! So now even you have started teasing your Bade Papa, huh?"

Just then Ayush walked in, along with another man.

The moment Ankshika saw him, she ran forward and hugged him.

"What a surprise! Dad, what are you doing at home at this hour?"

The well-dressed man in a formal suit—Ajay Oberoi—smiled warmly and lightly tapped her head.

"Did you see that, brother? She's becoming more and more mischievous every day."

Ayush laughed.

"Well, of course, Uncle. She's everyone's favorite—especially my little sister."

Hearing that, Ankshika happily hugged Ayush.

Just then Ajay handed her a bag.

She looked at it curiously.

"Umm… what's this, Dad?"

Before Ajay could answer, the mayor stood up and explained,

"Well, beta, your Bade Papa is hosting a party tomorrow night. And since you'll be attending, you'll obviously need a new outfit. So here's a dress for you."

Ankshika excitedly hugged the bag and quickly opened it. Inside was a stunning and expensive dress.

Her face lit up with happiness. She immediately hugged the mayor.

"Thank you, Bade Papa! I've been looking for this exact dress for so long. You're the best!"

The mayor smiled proudly.

"Yes, I know. Yesterday when I came to your room to see you, you weren't there—but I saw a photo of this dress on your table. So I thought… why not buy this one?"

Ankshika admired the dress again. Then a thought crossed her mind.

"By the way, Bade Papa… what's the party for tomorrow?"

This time Ayush answered.

"Umm… Dad is opening a clinic the day after tomorrow for a very special person. So tomorrow's party is to celebrate that."

Hearing this, Ankshika thought for a moment and said,

"A special person… wait… is it that boy from the hotel? The one who saved you and Bhaiya's life?"

Ayush smiled.

"Yes, the same one. I'll definitely introduce you to him tomorrow. Ankshu, I'm telling you—he's incredibly talented. But he looks very calm and simple. I'm sure you'll like meeting him."

Ankshika smiled warmly.

"I'd definitely like to meet him. After all, he saved the lives of my Bade Papa and my brother. I should at least thank him properly."

Saying this, she hugged the mayor again.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, Om had finished his work at Abhay's office and returned to his uncle's house. He was now sitting in the living room.

In front of him were Somya, Riya, and his uncle Vijay.

Vijay spoke in a slightly serious tone.

"So the mayor himself is throwing a party for the opening of your clinic?"

Om nodded.

Vijay continued,

"You should've told me earlier, yaar. I could've done some proper shopping. I can't just show up like this in random clothes."

Om looked at Somya and Riya. The three of them exchanged glances and smiled.

Then Om called out,

"Aunty."

His aunt walked in carrying a bag and said with a smile,

"Don't worry… Om has already done some shopping for you too."

She handed the bag to Vijay.

Curiously, Vijay opened it and pulled out the clothes. Inside was a stylish suit piece.

The moment he saw it, his face lit up with happiness.
