The next morning, after putting on her clothes, Sabrina went out of Lucian's room, while Lucian was in his bathroom.
"Stop there!" Sabrina heard Rosaline command and she stopped and turned to her, Rosaline approached her and glared.
"Yes?" Sabrina asked with one brow up.
"You whore! What were you doing in my husband's room, you spent the night there, didn't you?" Rosaline asked with a glare.
"I did. He is also my husband, so I don't see why I can't sleep with him," Sabrina said with a frown and Rosaline's eyes widen.
"You.... You slept with him?" Rosaline asked shocked, "You mer-" Rosaline stopped immediately.
"What!" Sabrina said shocked, did she know what I am?
"You monster! Husband snatcher, now I will teach you a lesson you will never forget!" Rosaline raised her hand ready to hit Sabrina, suddenly she felt her hand being held, Rosaline turned to see it was none other than her husband. Sabrina who had her eyes shut tightly, slowly opened it when she didn't feel any pain. She saw Lucian holding Rosaline's wrist, stopping her from slapping her,
"Let go of my hand, Lucian. I need to teach this bitch a lesson!" She said frowning.
"My love," as Lucian said this, he pulled Rosaline close to him by her waist, "Let her be, okay? I was about to go look for you, I have been missing you badly,"
Rosaline grinned as she also wrapped her arms around Lucian's neck, Sabrina watched them and suddenly felt a sting in her heart,
" I miss you even more, my love," Rosaline said, "How about we go back to your room and you show me how much you miss me?"
"Sounds like a plan," Lucian replied grinning. Sabrina sent them a hidden glare, was she jealous? No no she wasn't, she turned and went to her room.
That afternoon Sabrina played with Vincent in the garden,
"Aunt Sab, why haven't you given me a baby brother yet? Are you going to also be like Aunt Rosaline?" Vincent asked innocently, Sabrina reddened at the little boy's word.
"No but the baby isn't ready yet,"
"Why?" Vincent asked again.
"He is on his way, he hasn't arrived yet but soon he would, when he arrives then you would have a little brother to play with," Sabrina smiled gently stroking his hair.
"I can't wait, finally the boring moment in the castle alone would be gone," Vincent grinned.
"But I do play with you," Sabrina said frowning.
"You don't have time for me anymore, neither does brother Lucian, so when the baby comes, he will play with me all day," he smiled.
"Alright but you have to promise me that when he comes, you won't forget about me?"
"You don't have to be jealous, Aunt Sab, I will also play with you," Vincent grinned.
"Alright. Can we play now?" Sabrina smiled and Vincent got up from the bench he was sitting on.
"We will play hide and seek..... You will try to find me," he said, "Close your eyes," and Sabrina did, Vincent grinned and slowly started moving back as Sabrina counted, he was about to run and bolt when he suddenly tripped and stumbled and hit his forehead on the floor, he winced, Sabrina on hearing, opened her eyes, her eyes widen at the amount of bruise on the little boy's head.
"Oh goodness, how did you hurt yourself?" She said as she went close to him, he winced in pain, she tore the edge of her gown and started using it to wipe off the blood stains, Yes he was a pure blooded vampire so the wound should heal quickly but this wound was huge, so it would take hours and she didn't like to see him in pain, she placed her hand over the wound, trying if she had the ability to heal and suddenly it started healing until his forehead was spotless.
"Wow what happened?" Vincent asked surprised and touching his forehead.
"This would be our little secret okay? Do not tell anyone, promise?"
"I promise, you are my hero," he said and Sabrina giggled.
That night strangely she didn't get to see Lucian, he must be enjoying his night with Rosaline, she felt her heart ache, why was she feeling bad, it's not like she cares,
What those two crazy people do together is none of her concerns, she thought as she climbed on her bed and slept. While she was sleeping, Lucian teleported into her room and saw the little figure laying on the bed asleep, he grinned and teleported back out.
The next day, Sabrina didn't catch any glimpse of Lucian, she sat in her room that afternoon, she was so bored, then as if remembering something, she got up from where she was sitting,
"Airen! Airen!!" She called out and Airen appeared bowing,
"What can I help you with today, My Queen,"
"I want to visit Atlanta today," Sabrina said and Airen was indeed surprised but she nodded.
"Let us meet then in the ocean," She said and disappeared. Sabrina quickly carried her bag and went out of the room, she arrived in front of the castle gate and the guards bowed on seeing her,
"Where would my lady be going?" A guard asked.
"I am going out for a stroll," she replied and they opened the gate for her, she went out and walked to the ocean which was closer to the castle, on arriving she took off her clothes, put it in the bag she carried with her and hid it behind a tree, she walked into the water and turned into her mermaid self, she saw Airen approaching her.
"Welcome your highness, shall we?" She asked and Sabrina nodded. Together they swam deeper into the ocean, Sabrina looked around not believing that she was a mermaid and here right now, deep in the ocean, they continued swimming deeper until Airen halt and Sabrina did too, she saw Airen place her hand in front of her and that's when Sabrina realized that something glass like was blocking them from going in further, Sabrina's eyes widen,
"What is this?" Sabrina asked
"This is a shield, it protects us, not that humans can swim this deep in the sea but they can be some other danger, so this shield protects us and it can only be opened by someone royal or I the assistant, try opening it My Queen," Airen said as she stepped back, Sabrina stepped forward and placed her hands on the surface that felt cold, suddenly it opened, revealing Atlanta before her, her eyes widen in shock, it was so beautiful and they were so many people like her, mermaids moving back and forth, Airen and she swam in.
"Is this Atlanta?" Sabrina asked unable to take her eyes off the beauty she saw right now.
"Yes, Kalisa," Airen replied, they swam deeper and a mermaid who caught sight of them stopped and swam towards them, she was a beautiful woman.
"Who is this that you have brought, Airen?" The young woman asked, seizing Sabrina up and down, her eyes widen at the colour of her tail.
"She is Kalisa, known as Sabrina in the human world, she is our Queen," Airen said and the mermaid gasped and bowed.
"I am Hannah, your subject," she said.
"How do you do, Hannah?" Sabrina asked with a smile.
"Good,"
"Let's introduce you," Airen said, "Attention! the people of Atlanta, gather around!" She spoke loud and clear and the mermaids turned to her direction, they swam closer to them, looking at Sabrina with curiosity In their eyes.
"Who is she, Airen?" A mer man asked
"You will know soon, Cedric," Hannah said.
"This here people of Atlanta, is Queen Kalisa," Airen said and their were gasps before they all bowed, "She is the daughter of Lia and Zachery, reincarnated into a pregnant human and was given birth to as Sabrina in the human world, she has now come into her full powers and would protect us from harm's way," Airen smiled, "My Queen, would you like to say something to your subjects?" She asked and Sabrina nodded.
"It is nice to finally meet you all," Sabrina started, "I never knew I had a life, different from the one on land, I never knew I had a responsibility towards you all but now here I am, a Queen to you all, I never knew I had a mermaid parent, it all came to me as a shock when I found out about all this, but it is what I am destined for, I will protect you all from danger, I will try my very best and see to it that nothing bad befalls Atlanta," she completed and there were cheers from the people of Atlanta.
"She is really beautiful," a mer man said to the other,
"She is, wonder who her soulmate is going to be?"
"Our Queen has arrived today, so we are going to celebrate her arrival in the royal palace," Hannah said loudly.
"I have indeed come to see you all but I am not going to be staying permanently," Sabrina said and they all frowned, confused, " I have a life on the surface and I have to be the one to protect you all, the witches are there scheming, I have to be there to defeat them and also Aires, I have come to visit you and see Atlanta," Sabrina said.
"We understand My Queen but that won't stop us from celebrating your arrival," Hannah said with a smile and Sabrina smiled back.
Soon they all moved to the royal palace which was beautiful, Sabrina was shocked at what she saw, it was all gold and so luxurious,
"Welcome home," Airen said, soon preparations were being made and some servants dressed Sabrina and put a crown on her head, her mother's crown, she sat on a throne as mermaids and merman danced and ate, she smiled, she was enjoying this, she felt so happy watching them, it was like her heart felt peaceful here, after some time the celebration ended, and mermaids left the royal palace. Airen escorted Sabrina to her room, her parent's room was very spacious and beautiful, she sat on a sofa and so did Airen.
"I am in love with Atlanta. I wish never to go home," Sabrina said smiling.
"But you have to, like you said before you have a life there on the surface of land and your soulmate awaits you," Airen added and Sabrina thought went to Lucian, he was becoming nice to her and also getting too close for her comfort, she remembered the way her made her feel,
"Can I ask you a question?" Sabrina asked with a frown on her face.
"Go ahead My Queen,"
"I wonder, whenever Lucian is close to me, there is this wetness I feel on my undergarment, why is that?" Sabrina asked innocently and Airen grinned.
"You don't know?" Airen asked shocked,
Sabrina shook her head, confused.
"Whenever that happens, you feel a tingling sensation all over your body, right?" Airen asked and Sabrina nodded, "That feeling is when you want to be connected with your soulmate,"
"Connected?" Sabrina asked confused,
"You want to make love with him," Airen said and Sabrina's eyes widen, "That is why whenever he is close to you intimately, you get wet but you can tell him about it, he would please you and make you feel good," Airen said chuckling.
"I can't tell him that!,"
"But he is your husband and your soulmate, so it shouldn't -"
"No, you don't understand, Airen, I don't love that man," Sabrina said softly.
"I'm sure you will start loving him soon, he is your soulmate, you just have to give it time," Airen said with a grin.
"Then I have to wait till I fall in love with him to be able to...."
