"If you are not comfortable in that, then we can go somewhere more free," He whispered into her ear again.
"I don't have to go to the sea-"
"No not the sea, somewhere else, you would be able to swim more freely, so what do you say?" Lucian asked stepping back.
"Oh.... Okay," Sabrina replied and suddenly Lucian picked her up in his arms and they teleported into Lucian's bathroom, but he didn't put her down in his tub, he walked to a door Sabrina had once saw when she had been in his bath and her eyes widen to see a pool filled with water, there was two dragon statue opening it's mouth as water came out of it and poured into the pool. Lucian grinned looking at her widened eyes.
"Now you will be able to swim more freely, it's ocean water," he said as he gently let her sit on the edge of the pool with her tail touching the water, she slowly got into the water but knew she wasn't good at swimming and the pool was deep, so she drowned in it but as she was a mermaid, so she was able to breath under water but still she was panicking as she was unable to move,
Then she heard splashes of water and saw Lucian, bare chested in the pool, his hair wet and he looked sexy, he swam to her and held her waist, holding her still, they were both wet, they stared into each other's eyes, Sabrina frowned when she saw the colour of Lucian's eyes change.
"Your..... Your eyes...." She stammered and watch Lucian's grin widen.
"They are different?" Lucian asked even tho knowing. His eyes had turned totally black with no pupil and it scared Sabrina.
"Why are they like that?" She asked him while still staring into his eyes.
"It's because of the corruption in my heart, it gets triggered whenever I am craving for blood," Lucian said with a husky voice as he stared down at Sabrina's full breast and she blushed,
"Then go and have blood," Sabrina said still conscious of his hands on her waist as her tail went back and forth, "And what is corruption?" She asked as it was the first time she was hearing it,
Lucian grinned, "Nothing special, Pure blooded vampires who has killed more than they should gets it," and not alot of vampires are like that, only the crazy ones, Lucian thought to himself as he grinned.
"And I don't feel like drinking anyone else's blood but yours," Lucian said with a grin, "I have done so much for you, I should get this little thing as a token of appreciation from you, don't you think?" He said again as he grinned watching the guilty expression cross Sabrina's feature.
"Alright, you can take it from me," She said smiling at him and he smirked.
"Promise?" He asked mischievously, "Give me your word that I can take blood from you," he said and Sabrina was confused but nodded and waited for him to take blood from her wrist or neck but nothing happened instead.
"Aren't you going to drink my blood?" She asked suddenly wondering if he had changed his mind.
"I will but not now, when we get back but before that we have to teach you how to swim like a fish, as I can see that you can't," he said and Sabrina nodded,
Lucian guided her, holding her hand and soon she was able to swim like any other mermaid, she was happy that she had learnt how to swim and it was all thanks to Lucian, whose eyes was now back to normal, she swam to him and hugged him, then pulled back embarrassed, she had forgotten that they were both half naked, he had felt her soft breast on his bare chest.
"Thank you," she whispered with a blush and quickly got out of the water, he watched her and slowly saw her tail turned to legs, she was now naked and sexy to his eyes. "I... Need to go to my room and change," Sabrina said with heart still beating really fast, she felt it might come out of her throat.
"No need for that, you can wear one of Rosaline's gowns here," he said with a smile and Sabrina agreed. After getting dressed, the both of them, they teleported into Alice's cell with the ritual requirements.
Alice made Sabrina sit in front of her as she drew some signs on the surface of a huge parchment, she heard Alice chanting some spells while she drew on it, Lucian stood close to Sabrina and watched the witch, the witch let Lyon's blood drop on the parchment and it started to move like a snake on the paper, she looked up and smiled at Sabrina,
"Give me your hand," Alice said and with a grin and Sabrina not knowing why, did. The witch held Sabrina's hand and with a grin cut her wrist with her sharp finger, Sabrina winced as her blood dripped on the parchment as well to also move just like Lyon's blood, Sabrina quickly withdrew her hand and winced in pain looking at it, suddenly Lucian picked her wounded wrist and used his tongue to lick the thin line of blood on it, Sabrina's eyes widen in embarrassment, Does this vampire lacks shame? She thought to herself as he kept licking her wrist and grinning at her.
"What are you doing?" She asked in shock.
"We can't let that delicious blood of yours go to waste now, can we?" He said with a grin on his face, he let go of her hand and turned to slit his own wrist for his blood to also drop on the parchment and move too, Alice who hadn't been bothered by what they had been doing, continued murmuring some spells,
"Close your eyes," she said to Sabrina and she did so, Alice kept murmuring the spell, as the lit candle beside them started flickering and then suddenly went off, Sabrina opened her eyes with a gasp, Alice grinned,
"Any difference?" Alice asked and Sabrina just stared at her, she stared really hard that suddenly she heard Alice's cries.
"Don't kill my husband and child, please Elsa," Alice pleaded with the other witch named Elsa, who just stood and grinned.
"You betrayed us, Alice. How could you even beg for those lowly creature's lives!,"
Then Sabrina saw a scene of a little boy and a man being killed, she gasp and suddenly she was staring back at Alice who frowned.
"You... You had a husband and a son?" Sabrina asked and Alice's eyes went wide.
"Yes," she replied simply.
"They killed your husband and child, how could they do that to you?" Sabrina said feeling the scene repeating in her head. That was the part that Lucian had found out about that made him know that this witch isn't heartless as the rest. Sabrina saw sorrow cross Alice's feature.
"I was sent to kill him but instead I fell in love with him, they found us and killed my husband and son," Alice said with a smile.
"I'm sorry. You must have felt-" suddenly she heard an agonizing scream, Sabrina suddenly held her head in pain as Lucian went to hold her, patting her back. She had heard the terrible scream of Alice, she turned to look at Alice with tears in her eyes, "They hurt you?"
"After they killed my husband and son, they accused me of betraying them, they punished me, broke me and made me work with them again," Alice grinned as she said this, "Anyway, I see that your abilities are already awakening, one after the other, they would come out as time goes by," she completed and Sabrina nodded.
"Thank you for your help and I'm sorry about all you had to go through then," Sabrina said sympathizing with the woman.
"There's nothing to be sorry about, what has happened, has happened," the witch grinned.
Lucian teleported them home while Alice stared into space,
PAST
"I love you, Alice," Chris had said smiling down at Alice, who smiled back as he held her waist.
"And I love you too, Chris but my sisters-"
"Let's run away from this land, they won't find us," Chris said, "You are now pregnant with my child and we love each other, let us leave from here and go and start another life, my love,"
"Alright," Alice sighed as she touched her swollen stomach with a smile, "For our baby,"
"I promise to love and care for you and our unborn baby, we will live like a happy family together," he said as he kissed her forehead.
Back to present, Alice sat there with sorrow on her face.
Lucian and Sabrina stood in Lucian's room, Sabrina wondered why he didn't take her to her room instead.
"Why am I not in my room?" Sabrina asked with a frown.
"Did you forget your promise? I am to drink blood from you," Lucian said with a grin and Sabrina nodded, raising her hand for him to take blood from her wrist but he didn't touch her, she frowned.
"Aren't you going to take it?"
"I will but not from your wrist or neck," he said and Sabrina's eyes widen. Was he going to take blood from her lap again? She asked herself.
"From my lap?" She asked shocked and blushed in embarrassment.
"No," he said and she sighed in relief, "From your breast," he said and Sabrina reddened in embarrassment, she gasped.
"What! No!" She said shaking her head.
"Yes.... Remember you promised and I did a lot for you, don't be ungrateful," he said with a frown and she felt guilt but kept quiet.
"If you don't want that, then you can leave and go to your room," he turned and walked into his bathroom, Sabrina stood confused at what to do, should she just leave before he arrives....
