Inside of a small dark room, the walls made of metal, sounds of raining outside could be heard.
Inside this room, there was only a small bed and a door to head outside.
Sitting on this very bed was a familiar figure.
With long dark hair that reached down to his waist and tied in a pony tail, bangs framing the sides of his head and skin as pale as snow. His eyes were the strangest part however, they looked insidious, two black orbs that seemed to suck in the light itself.
The man was tall, it could be seen clearly even though he was sitting. His height when standing up was an impressive 196 centimetres.
He was wearing a black cloaked filled with red clouds that went all the way down to his ankles, he was wearing a pair of black standard issue ninja sandals.
What the man was looking at however wasn't anything that someone else could see, It was something visible only to him.

'Not bad, another upgrade to my explosion style.' Kazuo thought to himself inwardly as his eyes went towards the top of the status screen where the condition of the heart seal was displayed.
At first Kazuo had thought that he had escaped the inevitable, however his first week in the rain village and Akatsuki base, he had woken up and noticed the new addition, figuring out that whilst he had been asleep the masked man had most likely gone ahead and implanted the seal on his heart.
'Damned… damn it all to hell, five years and I still can't figure out how to actually break this thing. The easiest way would be to have Minato or Kushina get rid of it for me however they most definitely would rather see me die.' Kazuo thought inwardly before releasing a soft chuckle as his mind wandered to his actions during these past five years.
Akatsuki was still in its consolidation phase and thus had been acting as bounty hunters for other villages, As the member representing the fire country, that had been his main area of activity and it just so happened that Iwagakure really did not like Konoha and so after finding out about the nine tails attack, they had comissioned the Akatsuki multiple times to attack Konoha's protection targets during missions.
'Over sixty seven missions failed by Konoha because of me.' Kazuo thought with a smile as he got up from the bed and started to walk towards the door.
'Though that wasn't the most interesting part or most shocking, It was the fact that Yahiko who should have been dead before the end of the third world war is still alive and even working for this Akatsuki that is controlled by this fake madara.' Kazuo thought to himself, it was something he had thought about a lot however he had yet to find a reason as to why Yahiko, who was basically a wallmart version of Naruto had turned this way.
'This version of the Akatsuki is definitely quite a bit different from the one I know about in the anime and manga, first of all its more mild in a way, less aggressive or maybe thats simply because we are still in hiding and not starting the major plan.' Kazuo thought to himself as he opened the door and headed out into the hallway.
The hall similar to the room was made entire out of metal, it was a strange infrastructure filled with pipes on the walls and the metal itself looked like a patchwork from how much it had been repaired over the years.
'The financial situation of the Rain certainly is much worse than that of the Leaf.' Kazuo thought as he continued down the hallway and arrived at a certain room, opening the large metallic door, he entered into a large room, at the far end of it there was no wall and instead it was a sort of balcony that overlooked the entire Rain village. The room was a chamber of sorts and where the leader of the Akatsuki and members awaiting orders usually awaited.
Another fact that was different from the manga, likely another butterfly effect of Yahiko surviving somehow was that the Akatsuki didn't consist of only S rank missing ninja, instead there were hundreds if not thousands of other ninja who did grunt work, It could be said that the entire Rain villages forces were the Akatsuki.
There standing at the middle of the room was a man with red hair, a woman with lilac hair and another man with orange hair, the three public figure heads of the Akatsuki.
"We have a mission for you, we have gained information about a certain person that we wish to recruit. Their name is Deidara from Iwagakure." Nagato spoke, his voice had gotten even raspier over the years.
'Deidara?' Kazuo thought inwardly as a bright almost insane smile appeared on his face, he had no need to hide most of his inner thoughts or expressions here as he had in the leaf and so he had gotten used to simply showing what he felt.
"Deidara, an explosion release ninja correct?" Kazuo asked as his eyes practically gleamed in joy.
