After effortlessly countering Thunderbolt, Lian launched his retaliation without hesitation, paying little attention to Feraligatr's Rock Slide.

As energy-formed rocks were hurled towards him, Lian continuously maneuvered in mid-air, dodging each projectile. Although not entirely effortless, occasionally taking a hit posed no significant threat.

In a short moment, Lian reached above both Pokemon, focusing intently on Feraligatr and Raichu. After evading another of Feraligatr's rocks, he initiated his counterattack.

Firstly, two Air Slashes were unleashed simultaneously at the pair. With his flying type Control Rating reaching 60%, Lian became increasingly proficient with Air Slash, releasing it faster and with minimal air disturbance.

His Air Slash could only be seen as faint ripples in the air, nearly invisible unless closely observed, requiring keen perception from both Pokemon and Trainers alike.

Without such awareness, it would be virtually impossible for any Trainer to recognize that Lian had employed dual Air Slash moves.

Without pausing after releasing Air Slash, Lian swiftly accumulated fire energy to unleash his newly developed Fire-type move, an upgraded version of Flame Diversion.

He named it Twin Flames. The original Flame Diversion split Flamethrower into two separate streams, weakening its overall potency but offering the advantage of catching opponents off guard with sudden dual flames.

In Lian's upgraded version, he mitigated the weakness by replacing the base move with Flame Spiral, significantly improving the side effect.

Currently, Lian could technically release two Flame Spirals simultaneously, but the energy consumption would be too high. Unlike Air Slash, Flame Spiral not only requires similar energy as Flamethrower but also demands strong control precision.

Focusing on controlling one Flame Spiral is already challenging for Lian; attempting two at once allows him only one attempt due to extreme mental strain. It necessitates full concentration to form both streams into spirals before releasing them.

With Flame Spiral as the foundational move for the upgraded Flame Diversion, the process becomes relatively simpler. Lian needs to focus on launching just one Flame Spiral, which then divides into two upon release.

After Lian's improvement, although the Flame Spiral split into two streams, its power was not equally divided. Instead, each stream retained approximately 70% of the original strength.

Of course, this was based on Lian's testing results within the system space; he hadn't used it in reality yet. However, he anticipated it would perform similarly to his expectations.

Two smaller Flame Spirals, each possessing 70% of the original power, could potentially be stronger than a single full-strength Flame Spiral. Nonetheless, against a formidable opponent, they might also be easier to defend against.

Lian puffed up his cheeks and then abruptly released them, launching an Air Slash while simultaneously preparing the Flame Spiral, which swiftly followed suit.

Due to how discreet Lian's Air Slash release was, it appeared as if he had only inflated his cheeks before unleashing a Fire-type move, making the Air Slash virtually undetectable.

At that moment, the Air Slash struck both Raichu and Feraligatr, who remained oblivious. The tall Trainer, unaware of the attack, continued issuing commands.

"Raichu, keep using Thunderbolt..."

Boom! Boom!

Two loud explosions echoed as Raichu and Feraligatr suddenly felt the impact of the Air Slash, caught off guard with bewildered expressions.

The sudden attack left both Pokemon momentarily stunned, and the tall Trainer was equally taken aback. However, as a high-level Trainer, he quickly realized it was Air Slash, a flying-type move that Charizard could learn independently.

Yet, this Air Slash was exceptionally stealthy, nearly undetectable. Moreover, why did both his Pokemon receive the impact?

With these thoughts, the tall Trainer scanned the area but found no other Pokemon nearby. Could it be that both attacks were unleashed by the Charizard in the sky?

Realizing this possibility, the Trainer grew serious. A Charizard capable of simultaneously releasing two Air Slashes must not be an ordinary Pokemon.

It's worth noting that his primary Pokemon, Scyther, had just mastered the simultaneous use of Fury Cutter, which is relatively easier to execute twice at once. Even then, it took Scyther over half a year of rigorous training to barely achieve this ability.

In contrast, the Charizard before him effortlessly unleashed two Air Slashes, which was truly terrifying.

Simultaneously casting two ranged moves is significantly more challenging than executing close combat moves, especially with powerful techniques like Air Slash.

The tall Trainer was even more astonished and momentarily forgot to issue commands. After unleashing Air Slash, the Charizard in the sky unexpectedly followed up without any pause by releasing a flame move.

A massive spiral of flames descended towards the ground, scorching the air with its intense heat. As the Flame Spiral approached, it suddenly split apart, dividing into two distinct spirals.

Although slightly smaller than the original, these twin spirals remained formidable and accurately targeted Feraligatr and Raichu.

"This..." The tall Trainer was utterly astounded. How could this be possible? Just what kind of freakish Charizard were they facing? First, it simultaneously released two Air Slashes, then unleashed an unprecedented spiral-shaped flame that further divided into two separate attacks.

Boom! Boom!

Raichu and Feraligatr had barely recovered from the unexpected onslaught of Air Slashes when the twin Flame Spirals rapidly filled their vision, growing larger by the second.

The flames struck both Pokemon fiercely. Already significantly weakened by the initial Air Slash strikes, the impact of the swirling flames further exacerbated their injuries.

Although as high-level Pokemon, they hadn't completely lost their fighting capabilities yet, but their strength was significantly diminished. Both creatures appeared weak, struggling to remain standing; Raichu, especially, lacked Feraligatr's Water-type resistance against Fire-type attacks. It lay on the ground, seemingly close to losing its ability to battle altogether.

"Are you even capable of handling this?" The two distant Trainers shouted, their eyes filled with disdain. Among them, the tall Trainer was already considered the weakest, and failing to defeat a single Charizard was quite embarrassing.

Since they were focused on commanding their Pokemon against Celebi, they didn't witness the full extent of the battle, only seeing Feraligatr and Raichu continuously retreating under Charizard's onslaught.

The tall Trainer felt equally frustrated. As a high-level Trainer, having his two main Pokemon unable to overcome a single Charizard indeed seemed humiliating.

However, this Charizard truly was exceptionally strong!

"Charizard, well done!" Kalia arrived just then, witnessing Charizard swiftly defeat two of the opponents' Pokemon, and exclaimed enthusiastically.

She promptly jumped down, directing Sceptile, Ninetales, and Blaziken to join the fray.
