"Why did you come, Kael?" Emperor Zain asked after thinking carefully.
Kael turned away from the window and looked directly into Emperor Zain's ordinary-looking eyes, "I came to take what all that I'm owed."
Emperor Zain frowned, he had heard that Kael would use this language. It was a sign that things may start to become way more difficult from now on.
"I don't think I owe you anything, Kael," Emperor Zain said, then brought the teacup up to his mouth to sip his hot tea.
"Oh, but you do," Kael said as he suddenly stood up. Emperor Zain remained calm and silent, keeping his eyes on the surface of the hot tea.
"You see, when we formed an alliance, our goal was to take down Ibadon, the Destruction Dragon Empire was merely collateral.
Unfortunately for me and my poor lion race, we suffered a lot in that final battle. Hundreds of billions of us died, just like that.
