Kael turned away from the window to look at Emperor Zain. He didn't seem to care about the latter's anger. He was unbothered and couldn't give two fucks.
"So, Emperor Zain, will you be paying me or shall we invade Draconic Heaven next?"
*Snap!*
The couch Emperor Zain was sitting on emitted a sharp sound that signified something had snapped.
Kael just continued looking at the Emperor with a calm gaze. He put his hands behind his back and waited.
There was no flinching, no hesitation, no shaking, no trembling, just pure dominance.
Kael was dead serious with what he was saying and Emperor Zain knew very well that Kael would definitely act on his words.
Finally, Emperor Zain relaxed his brows and decided to play along, for the sake of peace.
He didn't want to do this. But his empire was not in any position to fight the lions right now. He wouldn't fear fighting Kael since he knew that many other enemies were on their way to deal with him.
