Entering the small shop after Joey brings me to a cozy and welcoming atmosphere of a mom and pop shop. But the conversation we walk into is anything but.
"I know you have the Magic Knight pack! Hand it over!"
Walking into the shop I see Yugi's grandpa arguing with a white hooded person.
"And I'm telling you I ran out of those cards a while ago! I swear you youngins never listen.."
"Listen old man if you don't hand it over I swear on the sacred light-"
"Hey that's enough!"
Joey decided to step up and immediately pushes the hooded man away from the counter.
"He clearly said he had no cards for you so beat it-"
'OH shit. Joey just got rocked'
The hooded man answered with a hook straight to Joey's jaw knocking him off his feet.
"Damn. You wanna take this outside, guy!"
"Shut up Joey"
Pushing Joey back to the entrance of the shop I approach the man. 'I didn't realize how big this guy was..he's definitely above 6 foot, and now that I think about it he talks like me, a foreigner.'
"Listen guy, clearly the old man doesn't have what your looking for but maybe we could come to some sort of agreement?"
As I say that the man stops dead in his tracks. "That's interesting..what do you have to offer me?"
"Let's start by getting out of this poor man's card shop, alright?"
The man just nods before walking past me.
"Dumbass.." As he walks past I take a metal tin filled with cards and smack it into the back of his head.
He just comes to a stop before dropping to the ground in a heavy heap on the welcome mat.
"Well that's that! Grandpa! Give me some good cards for getting this guy out of your hair!"
"...You know what? Fine! You've got some good spirit youngin! Your worthy of my finest! And Joey, I've got some ice packs in upstairs for you."
"...okay gramps.."

"The phantom thieves? That's an interesting name for a card pack?"
I'm currently looking over the catalog of packs Yugi's grandfather has for sale. Though only 2 of then have caught my eye.
'Power of the Guardians and Forgotten Rulers. Power of the guardian sounds similar to packs from my old life. I can probably assume it contains equip spells and their monster users. But forgotten rulers is completely foreign. The closest thing is maybe spell ruler or it could also be describing the majesty ruler and those cards?'
"I see that Forgotten Rulers have taken your attention? It is quite the rare pack after all, even I only have 3 packs of it."
'That just makes my decision even harder..'
"Well don't think about it too hard. Tell you what I'll give you the 3 packs of Forgotten Rulers and maybe...5 packs of that Power of the Guardians pack you were also eyeing."
"That'd be great! But could I also buy a couple of the Spirits of the Past packs? I think one of my friends would really enjoy it.
"Hmm...fine! Those will cost you a pretty penny though, they are quite rare packs as well."
As I'm finalizing my purchases Joey comes back from upstairs holding a ice pack to his jaw.
"Can I leave now? Kaiba's freaking me out.."
"OH shit- I forgot you were even here Noah. Now I look stupid buying those packs and trying to be secret about it."
Noah has been extremely quiet this entire time only actively moving to take the knocked out guy out of the shop.
"I've just been...watching."
"...Yeah Joey you can go, he's creeping me out too."
