"I'm so sorry," I pressed my hand over my mouth to try to stifle my laugh as Bucky coughed and yet another feather came out of his mouth. He sat on our living room couch, feathers in his hair, some still stuck onto his shirt and a scowl on his face.
Zahi had to bite his lower lip to stop himself from laughing as he came back from his bedroom after sweeping up the feathers.
"How you gon' beat me up like that?" His hazel eyes looked at me with part resentment. "At one point you could hear it's me but you just went on. For someone who is afraid of serial killers you sure know how to bust one's ass."
That's what did it for me as I burst out laughing, unable to keep myself standing as I sat down next to him and threw my arms around him. "I'm sorry! It's just, what in the world were you thinking? Why didn't you just ring the bell?"
He pouted as I took a few more feathers out of his hair, "I was trying to be romantic. Like Romo and Juliet."
