Kolli
I was in the closet.
I kept catching my own face in the mirror. And every single time I did, I was smiling.
I had to reprimand myself. Out loud.
"Stop that," I muttered, swiping the smile off my face like I could wipe it away.
I was only happy about the baby.
That was it. That was the whole reason.
I couldn't give a damn about Danilo. If he thought I was going to forgive him just because there was a baby in the picture, he was in for a rude awakening.
After all, we were just two people who happened to be parents of the same baby. We had to get along. That was all this was. Celebrating was only fair.
Right?
I decided on jeans. One of my brown fur coats, a white jersey, and my brown leather ankle boots. I let my hair down and pushed a pair of sunglasses onto my head to hold it back. I looked decent. I looked like I wasn't spiraling.
I was halfway through buttoning the coat when the closet door opened.
