Chapter 822 - [822] : Before Absolute Power, No One Dares to Speak

Coyote Starrk frowned deeply but didn't stop firing. He intended to use the relentless barrage of Cero Metralleta to shatter Shin's Dankū defense through sheer force.

"Can you hold it?" Yoruichi asked Shin, watching the overwhelming storm of energy.

Shin raised an eyebrow and looked at her. "Do you still doubt my strength, Yoruichi?"

"I trust your strength, of course, but you cast that Kidō without an incantation." Yoruichi didn't think Starrk was stronger than Shin, but relying on Eishōhaki (Incantation Abandonment) to block such a massive density of Ceros seemed risky.

"Don't worry about it. Holding this defense is absolutely no problem," Shin said with a smile.

His Dankū was sturdy enough to withstand Starrk's attacks without issue.

"Fine, I'll stay out of it then." Yoruichi stepped back to watch.

Seeing the continuous bombardment fail to make even a hairline fracture on the barrier, she finally relaxed. The defensive wall remained immovable.

"It really is reliable," Yoruichi nodded, settling into spectator mode.

"Kick about, Los Lobos."

Suddenly, Shin invoked the power of Coyote Starrk's Zanpakutō. Two pistols materialized in his hands, and he aimed them directly at Starrk.

"How do you possess the same power as me?" Starrk looked at Shin, his brow furrowed in confusion.

In Hueco Mundo, he was the only one who could use the power of a Zanpakutō—well, Starrk wasn't aware that Baraggan had also become an Arrancar with Aizen's help and could now use similar powers.

"It's not difficult for me," Shin said with a faint smile.

Hearing Shin say it wasn't difficult, Yoruichi felt a strong urge to retort. You say it's not difficult, so why can't I do what you do? Stop pulling the wool over my eyes.

Yoruichi began to suspect Shin had the ability to steal others' Zanpakutō abilities. No, not steal—since the opponent could still use them—it had to be replication.

After his initial shock, Starrk regained his composure. Seeing the Dankū barrier voluntarily dissolve, he chose to take the initiative and attack Shin.

Facing Starrk's offensive, Shin smirked slightly.

"Come on then. Let's see whose Cero is superior!" Shin said calmly.

Shin pulled the triggers. He also unleashed Cero Metralleta. A terrifying swarm of Ceros blasted toward Coyote Starrk.

The quantity was the same, but in terms of quality, Starrk simply couldn't compare to Shin.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

A deafening explosion echoed as the earth was blasted into ruin. Coyote Starrk lay on the ground, defeated.

Hit by an unknown number of Ceros, he had completely lost his combat capability. If Shin hadn't held back, Starrk would already be dead.

Shin didn't bear any ill will toward Starrk. Looking at the fallen Arrancar, Shin didn't deliver a finishing blow. He simply turned to leave.

"Why didn't you kill me?" Starrk struggled to sit up and asked.

In the past, Starrk couldn't find an equal in Hueco Mundo. Shin was the first person he had ever met who could defeat him. Since he had been defeated—and by a Soul Reaper, no less—why didn't the opponent finish the job?

"Are you in a rush to die?" Shin turned his head back and asked.

Starrk fell silent. He had seen through life and death long ago. Compared to death, he feared loneliness far more.

Starrk said nothing more, and Shin didn't pay him any further attention, leading Yoruichi away.

"Shin, what exactly was your goal in coming to Hueco Mundo?" Yoruichi asked.

"It's already done. My goal was simply to copy their powers."

Shin was now holding Baraggan's Arrogante (Great Skull Emperor Battle Axe) in one hand and Starrk's Los Lobos pistols in the other.

"You really can copy powers..." Yoruichi looked at Shin with a strange expression. Is this his Zanpakutō's ability?

It must be. Does that mean he has copied the abilities of every Zanpakutō in the Soul Society? If so, Shin is practically invincible.

Actually, even without copying the Soul Society's abilities, Shin was already invincible.

"That's right," Shin nodded with a smile.

"If word of this gets out, people will definitely target you. No one likes having their power possessed by someone else. You need to be careful, Shin. Don't use these abilities casually," Yoruichi warned him solemnly.

"Don't worry. In the face of absolute power, no one dares to say a thing," Shin replied with supreme confidence.

"Does Retsu Unohana know?" Yoruichi suddenly asked, staring intently at Shin as if the answer was vital.

Shin nodded.

Seeing him nod, Yoruichi felt a surge of irritation. She shot Shin a glare and let out a cold hmph.

"Let's leave Hueco Mundo," Shin said. His objectives were complete.

As for the powers of the other Espada, they hadn't fully emerged yet, nor had Aizen gathered them all. Finding them would be a hassle, and Shin didn't want to waste time. Most of them probably hadn't even become Arrancars yet.

As Shin and Yoruichi departed, Baraggan met with Aizen.

————————————

"Baraggan, can you tell me why this place looks like this?" Aizen asked Baraggan calmly, gesturing to the ruins of Las Noches.

Although Aizen didn't look angry, Baraggan could sense the fury building up inside him.

"This has nothing to do with me. If you want to find the culprit, go find the Soul Reapers. A Soul Reaper did this," Baraggan said, carrying his own anger as he spoke to Aizen.

Aizen narrowed his eyes at Baraggan, gauging the truth of his words.

According to Aizen's intelligence, no other Soul Reapers should have been in Hueco Mundo.

And among those who could come here and dismantle Las Noches, there were only a few candidates.

"Was it Shin Uzumaki?" Aizen asked, his eyes flashing. It was the only name that made sense.

Only Shin Uzumaki could effortlessly defeat Baraggan and level Las Noches. The only question was his motive.

"That's right, it was him," Baraggan said, his rage boiling over.

Seeing Baraggan's anger, it was clear he had suffered a significant loss. It made sense—even Aizen wasn't confident he could deal with Shin Uzumaki.

"Rebuild Las Noches yourself," Aizen said, dumping the reconstruction task onto Baraggan.
