Afterward, Aizen searched for Shin in Hueco Mundo, but it was destined to be a futile effort, as Shin had already left.
"This harvest wasn't small," Shin said with a smile.
Having copied the powers of Baraggan and Starrk, Shin now had even more tricks up his sleeve.
In particular, Baraggan's Arrogante was an incredibly powerful Zanpakuto ability, capable of aging anything it touched into oblivion.
Even the current Aizen would likely be killed if hit by it. Of course, given Baraggan's own limitations, hitting Aizen was practically impossible.
"Soi Fon, thanks for your hard work," Shin said, looking at Soi Fon and reaching out to gently pat her head.
During the two days he and Yoruichi had been away, Soi Fon had handled everything. She had taken care of all the division's affairs, and Shin was planning to give her a reward.
Hearing Shin's praise, Soi Fon felt a surge of joy. She didn't ask for much; just receiving Shin-sama's praise was enough to make her happy. Indeed, Soi Fon's desires were simple and easily satisfied.
"By the way, did anything happen in the last two days?" Shin asked Soi Fon.
"Nothing major, but the famous young prodigy has graduated from the Shin'ō Academy. Should we try to recruit him into the Second Division?"
Soi Fon asked for Shin's opinion. The prodigy she mentioned was, of course, Tōshirō Hitsugaya. He certainly deserved the title.
Now that Hitsugaya had graduated, which division he joined would depend on the conditions offered.
If the offer was good, they could certainly attract him. If it was average, he probably wouldn't join.
"Recruit him to the Second Division? There's no need for that." Shin shook his head. There was no point in trying to recruit him; it was meaningless.
"Even if we could get him, do you think there's any position left for him in the Second Division?"
The Second Division was currently overflowing with talent. Both Yoruichi and Soi Fon possessed captain-level strength, with Yoruichi's power even surpassing that of an average captain.
Yet Yoruichi was still serving as the vice-captain, and Soi Fon was only the third seat.
So, it was certain that the Second Division held no appeal for true prodigies simply because there was no room for advancement.
If there were opportunities for promotion, they might be able to attract talent. However, their division was very attractive to ordinary members.
Those without prodigious talent or ambition just wanted to join a powerful division, and the Second Division was now widely considered second only to the First Division.
In reality, Shin alone could easily crush the First Division. Of course, Shin wouldn't do such a thing; there was no benefit in fighting Old Man Yamamoto.
Shin also had no intention of becoming the Captain-Commander. He was already reluctant to continue as a captain, let alone take on the highest position. Shin had no interest in power.
Or rather, the reason Shin wasn't interested in power was because he possessed absolute strength. With such overwhelming power, he had the privilege of not caring about authority.
The so-called power was something Shin could easily obtain with his strength, which was why he didn't care about it.
Later, Tōshirō Hitsugaya joined the Tenth Division and immediately became the third seat. With a little more experience, becoming the vice-captain would be no problem.
The current captain of the Tenth Division was still Isshin Shiba—that is, Isshin Kurosaki, the father of the protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki.
He was still the captain of the Tenth Division and hadn't yet lost his powers saving Masaki Kurosaki.
A week after Shin returned from Hueco Mundo, Aizen came to visit him.
"Oh, Captain Aizen. A rare guest indeed," Shin said, looking at Aizen with a smile. He wasn't particularly surprised that Aizen had come to see him.
"Captain Shin, sorry to disturb you," Aizen said very politely. Shin couldn't find any fault with his etiquette.
Moreover, the gentle smile on Aizen's face looked completely genuine; this guy's acting skills were truly invincible.
"I have something I'd like to discuss with you in private, Captain Shin. Would that be alright?" Aizen asked.
"Of course. Soi Fon, could you step out for a moment?" Shin nodded and asked Soi Fon to leave.
Soi Fon put down her work and walked out, carrying Yoruichi, who had transformed into a black cat.
Aizen glanced back. Sensing Soi Fon's Reiatsu moving away, he finally relaxed.
"Captain Shin, did you go to Hueco Mundo recently?" Aizen didn't beat around the bush and asked directly.
"It seems you have spies even in Hueco Mundo, Captain Aizen, to know that I went there," Shin replied with a faint smile.
Aizen looked at Shin. Just by looking at Shin's expression, it was impossible to analyze what he was thinking.
Finally, Aizen gave up trying to analyze and looked at Shin with a pleading expression. "I wonder if Captain Shin could refrain from attacking those Menos Grande when you visit Hueco Mundo in the future?"
It hadn't been easy for Aizen to gather those Menos, only for them to be obliterated by Shin. Aizen felt a twinge of pain in his heart.
After all, Shin hadn't just killed the cannon fodder Gillians, but also Adjuchas, and even a high-level combatant like Baraggan had nearly been killed.
"Captain Aizen, your words seem to have revealed something," Shin reminded him.
Aizen didn't mind exposing that he was trying to control Hueco Mundo. It didn't matter if Shin Uzumaki knew.
Because Aizen knew that if Shin wanted to deal with him, he would have done so already.
Besides, just because he didn't say it explicitly didn't mean Shin didn't know.
Aizen had considered it; there was no need to keep up the pretense in front of Shin Uzumaki.
Maintaining a false persona was exhausting. Although it had become a habit, Aizen didn't want to keep it up forever.
"Don't worry. As long as I'm in a good mood, I won't trouble them. Of course, if they provoke me when I visit Hueco Mundo, don't blame me for not giving you face, Captain Aizen," Shin said.
"Then I thank you, Captain Shin," Aizen said with a slight smile, guessing at Shin's motives.
Knowing that Shin's intentions weren't pure, yet he wasn't targeting him, puzzled Aizen.
However, it was certain that Shin Uzumaki's view of the Seireitei was indifferent; he wouldn't target Aizen for its sake.
"Then I'll take my leave. I'll visit Captain Shin again later," Aizen said, standing up. He then turned and left.
'Aizen, you'd better speed things up. I'm still waiting for you to create the Hōgyoku.'
Shin hadn't thought about attacking Aizen because he needed him to research the Hōgyoku. If Aizen died, who would do it?
Kisuke Urahara had the ability, but he might not necessarily help Shin.
