Max nodded slowly, his gaze still fixed on the endless black structures, the coiling dragon statues, and the rivers of silent black flames that stretched across the horizon. The scene felt almost unreal, as though he had stepped into a myth carved into reality itself, and he knew that if he stood here long enough, he might truly lose himself to it.
"But the Black Dragon Palace is only one of the many third rate forces in the entire Divine Realm," Lady Virelia continued, her tone calm and almost casual, as if she were speaking of something ordinary.
